The National Safeguarding Team supports churches, dioceses, religious communities, cathedrals and other Church bodies to make the Church of England a safer Church for all. It aspires to be a centre of excellence for safeguarding that creates a consistent culture of safety, trust and respect across the Church and beyond. The team is responsible for oversight of the Church's safeguarding policy, as well as safeguarding learning and development. The team manage complex and high-profile safeguarding casework, including that relating to senior clergy. Team members oversee the provision of support to victims and survivors of abuse, as well as supervising and quality assuring regional networks of safeguarding professionals. The team is supported by a Programme Office and a highly skilled business support team.
The Contracts Team will be managing high profile contracts with third parties that provide services to the wider Church and victims and survivors of abuse.
The purpose of this role is to support the Senior Contract Manager to provide oversight, management and reporting, and to manage supplier relationships for all supplier contracts in the National Safeguarding Team. Before the full role can start, you will be required to provide project management for the Redress Scheme. Please note that this is a 5 year fixed term contract.

Fundraising at the Sutton Trust
We are seeking a dynamic and confident fundraiser to be our Corporate Partnerships & Events Manager. The Sutton Trust is at an exciting point in our organisational journey, with a new Chairperson and ambitions to significantly grow our impact and fundraising as part of our 2030 strategy.
Over the past five years the impact of the Sutton Trust has increased, especially with our programmes which have gone from supporting 11,000 young people a year to 14,000 in the 24/25 programme year. We have secured a relatively stable income of c.£6m over several years, and in the last two years this has grown to £7m+. Our organisational strategy, which takes us to 2030/31, will continue this fundraising trajectory with a need to increase annual income on a sustained basis to £12m. With corporate income accounting for nearly half our fundraised income, there is considerable enthusiasm and opportunity in the corporate world for building strategic partnerships with The Sutton Trust.
Our fundraising approach will continue to focus on major gifts and strategic multi-year partnerships, leveraging a range of drivers to secure corporate support. Our highly engaged Chairperson has a commercial background and is keen to leverage contacts in the corporate world, giving a network of prospective contacts to explore.
The role and team
As Corporate Partnerships & Events Manager, you will be an experienced partnership manager and fundraiser, confident in securing new business through active prospecting and networking along with experience in securing and stewarding strategic partnerships with corporates and their associated corporate foundations. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset for income generation, able to confidently manage competing demands to balance securing new partnerships and delivering high quality account management to your portfolio of current and prospective supporters.
The role will lead a portfolio of corporate partnerships, focused on delivering shared strategic goals to increase social mobility in the workplace and supporting a more socio-economically diverse workforce for the future. The role will be the point-person within the Development Team for organisational events, working closely with key colleagues in our marketing & events and programme functions to support delivery of high-quality events. They will also take responsibility for delivering successful stewardship events, including programme visits. It will be crucial to work closely with a range of stakeholders, especially colleagues, to deliver successful stewardship events that showcase the varied work of the Sutton Trust and engage supporters with our work. This will include working closely with existing staff who lead on organisational, advocacy and programme events to ensure donors and prospects are able to attend and engage with the work.
Corporate partnerships are delivered by a talented and growing team, all with their own portfolios based on partnership level and complexity. Team members work on both new business and account management, with ambitious individual income targets.
Main duties
New Business

Personally scope, develop and secure new five-figure+ corporate partnerships, aiming for a diverse and robust portfolio of partners with multi-year commitments, working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships, other senior staff, and senior volunteers appropriately to secure and steward.

Proactively approach new business development within the corporate sector, cultivating relationships and networks to grow awareness of The Sutton Trust and secure major gifts.

Support the Head of Corporate Partnerships in their work with senior volunteers to develop a strong prospect pipeline for major corporate gifts, including support for network mapping to leverage connections and cultivate prospective funders.
Events, Account Management and Development

Manage and grow the Trust’s leadership and partner level corporate partnerships in your portfolio, including leveraging existing relationships to maximise financial income and partnership longevity.

Appropriately leverage senior staff and volunteers to secure multi-lateral relationships with corporate partners and prospects, with the aim of retaining partnerships and uplifting income.

Working closely with key colleagues to be the first point of contact for the Development team to support organisational events, and working with Development leadership to deliver diverse and engaging stewardship events.

Working closely with key colleagues, support delivery of key donor messaging through Campaign Monitor or other platforms as appropriate, to align with the stewardship events goals of further engaging donors and prospects with the work of the Sutton Trust.

Fundraising, Finance and Reporting

Act as an ambassador for the Trust with external audiences in the corporate space, representing the Trust with gravitas and confidence to secure major gifts and develop relationships.

Work with colleagues across Development and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, income tracking and reporting for your portfolio of corporate partnerships.

Person Specification
We welcome applications from individuals who have experience in:

Experience in successfully securing, managing, and developing corporate partnerships at five-figures-plus level, from initial prospect research to contracting and ongoing stewardship.

Job Title: Development Manager

Job Summary
The Development Manager will be a dynamic and experienced fundraiser with strong technical skills in grant and funding solicitation, management and stewardship across Crisis Action’s current donor targets including major foundations, governments, and High Net Wealth Individuals (HNWI). They will serve as the anchor of a newly configured fundraising team designed to support Crisis Action to nurture its existing donors and secure the next generation of support for its ground-breaking work.
This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in our outreach, proposals, reporting and communication to drive resource mobilisation that is essential for the organisation’s financial sustainability at a time when our distinct model and way of working is needed more than ever.
Principal responsibilities
Donor engagement and communications
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day engagement with current and prospective foundation, government and individual donors by members of the Crisis Action team
- Represent the organisation vis-à-vis donor representatives
- Support HNWI donor benefits structure and cultivation plans
- Prepare compelling and timely donor reports, donor updates, letters of receipt and other outreach materials in collaboration with finance and campaign teams.
Grant management and oversight
- Ensuring timely and skilled drafting, consultation and sign off of high-quality grant proposals
- Timely acknowledgement of all contributions and compliance with donor requirements
- Preparation of high-quality proposal budgets and financial reports for donors in compliance with grant specifications and deadlines, in close cooperation with the Finance Team
- Review all grant agreements and monitor/ensure the organization's adherence to its contractual commitments.
Strategic vision and guidance:
- Provide strategic support to the Chief Executive Officer on short- and long-term fundraising strategies and broader resource mobilisation initiatives to ensure our fundraising strategy and its implementation helps achieve organisational goals

Research and intelligence:
- Carry out donor research and provide strategic insights and donor related updates and background information to relevant colleagues.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development within the non-profit or international advocacy sector
- A proven track record of engaging with foundations and government officials to secure and manage grants
- Demonstrated ability to forge new donor partnerships, and a track record of bringing in new revenue

Salary: We have set bands for the salary range for all positions at Crisis Action. The baseline of our salary range for this position is £40K per annum.

What we are looking for:
Job Title: Senior Philanthropy Officer
We’re looking for a confident, capable fundraiser to play a key role in major-gift fundraising – helping to secure transformational support from high-net-worth individuals.
You’ll manage your own portfolio of prospects and donors, contributing across the full fundraising cycle: prospecting, cultivation, making direct asks, closing and stewardship. Alongside this, you’ll support the development of relationships with wealth advisers to generate referral leads, while also prospecting independently for major gifts.
The ideal candidate will be excited to build networks of wealth managers, private-client teams and other advisers to HNWIs, and to convert adviser introductions into committed support. You’ll complement this with proactive outreach to identify and engage new major donors beyond existing referral channels.
To succeed, you’ll develop strong fluency across three distinct fundraising pitches: a business case for advisers; an impact case to persuade donors to support our portfolio charities; and a systems-change case to win backing for GRP’s operating costs (salaries, office costs, etc) to keep the charity running fee-free.

About the role
The role is to lead the work of Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea, working with a small skilled staff team and a range of volunteers and other community stakeholders. In particular, you will share our commitment to embed user engagement and community development at the heart of the Healthwatch service model, empowering user voices and improving access to health services. Key responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join the team as a Senior Operations Manager. As the Senior Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Area Manager and be responsible for and accountable for the delivery and development of services across the region.

Overview
The Premier League Foundation is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Grants and Compliance Manager on a permanent basis. As a key member of the Central Operations team, you will help ensure the Foundation operates as an effective and efficient charity by maintaining robust, high‑quality grant‑management processes. Working closely with the Head of Governance and Operations and the Senior Impact and Insight Manager, you will oversee all grant‑making activity, from application through to monitoring, reporting and end‑of‑grant procedures. You will ensure that grantees comply with funder requirements, and that our grant‑making practices reflect, promote and continue to evolve in line with sector best practice.
You will collaborate closely with the Programmes Team and the Impact and Insights Team to ensure they have the tools and frameworks needed to monitor grant delivery and performance in line with Premier League programme expectations and funder requirements. Supported by the Governance and Grants Executive, you will track how funding is used, ensure grant conditions are met, and lead the ongoing improvement of grant‑making systems and processes.
A core part of the role will be leading the development and implementation of the Capability Code of Practice — a governance framework designed specifically for the unique needs and context of professional football club charities. Who we are
The Premier League Foundation was established in 2010 to distribute funding provided by the Premier League and its partners to professional football club charities across England and Wales, supporting them in their delivery in thousands of community venues and schools across the country. A total of 106 club charities are supported across the Premier League, English Football League, and National League.
More than 2.5 million individuals have benefitted from the charity, which aims to foster positive sporting, health, personal and education opportunities for children, young people, and the wider community.

The role
- Oversee the Premier League Foundation’s grant management function, ensuring timely, high-quality and consistent processes for grant assessment, approval, delivery, monitoring and reporting.
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of grant-making processes to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Provide advice and support on the design and development of application and grant-making processes for new programmes and funds.

The Senior Practice Specialist will support the delivery and development of our youth justice practice work, specifically to provide support to youth justice services, the judiciary, court staff and the police in the delivery/implementation of youth diversion and youth courts.

You will have a strong track record of leading and developing senior teams. Financially astute, you have experience overseeing budgets, management accounts, and presenting to Boards, alongside a solid understanding of governance and regulatory compliance.
You will bring experience in HR and people management, including policy development and employee relations, as well as oversight of systems, IT, and digital infrastructure. Professional qualification in finance, HR, or relevant management discipline would be advantageous.

The Trustees of the Foundation are supported by a small executive team of six.
The rapid rise and use of digital technology have permeated much of society and transformed the way many humans interact. There has been a broad array of research efforts, but the full implications - both positive and negative - on human physiology, psychology, behaviour, well-being and mental health remain unclear. We believe there is an opportunity to help advance the research and the field of knowledge in this area.
To this end, since mid-2024, HFF has established and will continue to grow a multi-year research portfolio in the UK and the US on the Effects of the Usage of Digital Technology on Brain Development, Social Behaviours and Mental Health in Children and Young People. In 2025, we ran our first annual call and recently announced the outcome of these awards on our website.For our second annual funding round in 2026, we recently released an open call for proposals.
As we continue to build our funding portfolio through annual funding calls, we are now looking for a Senior Funding Manager to join the small HFF Science Team in a permanent role.
SUMMARY PURPOSE - WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND ACHIEVING
The Senior Funding Manager is a newly created role in the HFF Science Team.
You will work with the Director of Research and the Senior Programme Officer to administer the Foundation’s science portfolio of grants schemes, awarded grants and associated activities. You will manage and deliver the end-to-end grant application, review and award processes. You will act as a key point of contact for external liaison relating to the schemes.
Working with the rest of the team, you will also help to develop and deliver events for Foundation grant holders. The role may require some domestic and international travel, including to meet grant holders for horizon scanning, monitoring and impact assessment purposes.
You may also contribute to the Foundation’s wider portfolio of work, and the delivery of our strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Funding Manager, you will:
- Take a leading role on managing a diverse grant portfolio from pre-application to post-award, ensuring robust due diligence, clear communication with applicants, high-quality committee preparation, supporting good governance and decision-making, and smooth implementation of funding decisions.
- Provide proactive and collaborative funding operations support to the Science Team and other HFF colleagues.
- Lead, coordinate and deliver funding schemes and calls, setting timelines and workflows, and managing all aspects of associated funding committees to enable efficient, well governed decision making.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering guidance to applicants and colleagues on funding policies, applicant eligibility, assessment processes, allowable costs and best practice.
- Oversee, coordinate and deliver high quality peer review and governance, selecting appropriate expert reviewers, managing conflicts of interest, ensuring timely and transparent assessments.
- Ensure effective post award grant management and continuous improvement, resolving complex queries, assessing change requests, monitoring compliance and progress, and contributing to process enhancements that support high quality funding operations.
- Partake in monitoring and impact assessment purposes – annual reports, end of grant reports, etc.
- Liaise with other funding organisations, as appropriate, for example, on the operation of joint funding schemes.
- Contribute to the HFF Science’s wider activities, which may include developing and delivering events for HFF grant holders such as a mini conference or workshop. This may require some domestic and international travel.
- Contribute to the Foundation’s wider portfolio of work, including drafting and providing information for papers for meetings of the HFF Trustees.
- Perform any other duties that might be reasonably expected, and which are commensurate with this level of post.
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Education/Qualifications/Knowledge (essential)
- Educated to Bachelor’s degree standard (or equivalent) in a relevant science or public health subject
- A strong understanding of academic research activities in science
- An excellent understanding of procedures and best practice in research funding

- Educated to Master’s or PhD standard (or equivalent) in a relevant science or public health subject
