The grounds offer wheelchair accessible outdoor experiences, including a Woodland Walk through a 7-acre nature reserve, a hydrotherapy pool and overnight suites for families to be close to their loved ones. At The Ark we are able to provide Specialist Care and Nursing for babies, children and young people, supporting their full clinical, emotional, social and practical needs. JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Head of Partnerships & Events to join our highly successful Philanthropy team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and enhance our Corporate and Special Events Programme. This is very much a hands-on role of team leadership and direct account management. This includes six figure partners and our key relationships with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, The Dorchester Hotel and international insurer Fidelis. Special Events include our Winter Ball which raises over £500k annual and our Golf Day at around £100k. The post-holder has a key role in the management of our Philanthropy & Corporate Board, which bring together industry leader to help move both these programmes forward. There is great freedom to innovate and a healthy pool of local business with an affinity to our cause. The post-holder takes a key leadership role across fundraising and marketing, working with their peers (Heads) and Director to take strategic decisions for wider benefit of the department. Having invested in the team’s capacity, we aim to grow income from c. £1.5m to £2m over the next few years. This in the broader context of a total voluntary income target for the charity of £5m-£6m.
The Head of Partnerships & Events leads a team of two currently, although this may increase. We have a Corporate Manager and Events Manger with support from the Philanthropy Officer. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective partners of Noah’s Ark. You will ensure our partners have the best possible experience, making them feel engaged and motivated, valued and informed about the impact of their involvement and help them achieve their organisation’s objectives.

Benefits advice to people with asbestos diseases, and organise the day-to-day running of the charity, GMAVSG. Manage two workers, cover phone helpline on a rota, maintain databases and case files, liaise with a panel of solicitors, organise and assist in two support groups, and participate in campaigns on asbestos issues at work and in the environment and on benefits and compensation. You will deliver benefits advice mainly through home visits in Greater Manchester and some of the neighbouring areas of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Lancashire. Full driving licence and access to a car are essential. GMAVSG is a registered charity, established by the Greater Manchester Hazards Centre (GMHC) in 1994. You will be doing GMAVSG work but employed by GMHC. Recent experience of welfare rights / benefits advice is essential, as are good ICT and administration skills. Management experience (particularly in the charity sector) would be beneficial, but is not essential. Training will be given on compensation and industrial injuries benefits for people with asbestos diseases. 35 hour week; salary pro rata for part-time / job share. Part-time / job share applications welcome, providing you are available during core hours of 9.30am to 4pm for at least 2 days a week. Blues Foundation:
We are the charitable arm of Bedford Blues Rugby Club. We use the values of rugby and sport to change lives through interventions and programmes that support our local community. Our work aims to improve wellbeing, create inclusive opportunities, and develop skills in young people. Launched in April 2020, we deliver bespoke projects that are designed to support our target audiences and help young people tackle their personal challenges. Role Overview:
Our Fundraising Manager will play a major part in significantly increasing our growth in fundraising activities, including corporate and individual giving, community events and support our strong relationships with local businesses, schools and clubs, increasing grassroots engagement. They will lead our restricted and unrestricted fundraising as we enter another exciting period of growth for our charity. The role will manage and implement a high-quality marketing plan to demonstrate our impact and promote our services. They will lead our events, maximising their potential fundraising potential and increase brand awareness. They will also build and support a network of volunteers and supporters/donors, communicating regularly with this audience. Abianda is a London-based charity that works with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence, and the professionals who support them. We exist to ensure young women are no longer hidden in our communities and can live free from harm and abuse. We aim to bring about a culture shift in how services are delivered to young women and girls, so that they can access support that works for them when they need it.
Abianda is seeking an experienced and collaborative Young Women and Girls Practitioner (1:1) to work with young women and girls aged 13-25 affected by criminal exploitation and violence as part of our flagship service, the Star Project.
As the Young Women and Girls Practitioner (1:1), you will take young women and girls through a tailored programme of activities, supporting skills development and critical thinking. You will work with young women and girls over a period of approximately 6 months, or up to 24 sessions. You can read more about the service on our website.
If you have experience of delivering one-to-one sessions with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and want to support them to navigate systems, spaces and relationships safely and healthily, and advocate for their rights and needs, then we’d love to hear from you.

About Woman’s Trust
The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. Woman’s Trust is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recovery from the trauma. Alongside delivering our existing 1-1 counselling, self-development workshops and therapeutic support groups for women who have experienced domestic abuse, we are focused on developing our innovative mental health services for young women and girls, delivering new peer-led support groups and providing therapeutic groups to children and their mothers. We are also committed to developing further awareness-raising workshops and training for professionals, building on our research and policy to improve systems nationally.
Background
The lack of recognition of domestic abuse as a mental health issue within the NHS leads to delayed and inadequate support for survivors. This gap in understanding and response often result in survivors only being able to access and receive appropriate care when their mental health deteriorates to the point of requiring secondary mental health services (Women’s Aid 2021). Meta analysis suggests that CBT, one of the NHS’s most prescribed approaches for mental ill-health, is not the best approach for domestic abuse survivors as it does not recognise and take into account the external factors and dynamics of abuse, specifically power and control, the role of the perpetrator and the resulting trauma for the survivor.
In March 2025, WT published its first major report, ‘Living Without Hope’ which consolidates existing and increasing academic, government and sector research demonstrating the significant impact of domestic abuse on women’s mental health. Outlining the current agency responses at national, regional and local levels and the gaps in provision; the report also makes recommendations for change and improvement across the VAWG and health sectors.
Building on the research highlighted in our ‘Living Without Hope’ report, WT has secured funding to work with key stakeholders in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to examine the links between domestic abuse and mental health, the specific experiences of Arab and Moroccan women and their access to safe, appropriate services that meet their needs.
Purpose
This is an exciting new role and will be focused on developing Woman’s Trust’s (WT) response to addressing the systemic issues female survivors of domestic abuse face when trying to access support.
Working with key stakeholders in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (LBKC) and specifically Al-Hasniya to ensure that professionals have a clearer understanding of the link between domestic abuse and mental health and its impact on survivors.
Contract & hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Fixed term as dependant on funding.

ELMS is a specialist mental health service in Leyton supporting adults living with long-term mental health conditions to remain well, connected to their communities and out of hospital. Made up of an office base, four supported houses, a small floating support offer and a structured day programme, ELMS provides longer-term accommodation rooted in stability, trust and continuity.
As Night Concierge, you’ll be the steady presence that holds the service overnight. From 10pm to 8am, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, the guardian of the buildings, and the calm voice on the end of the phone when reassurance is needed. You’ll take responsibility for the ELMS duty phone, offering grounding, clarity and emotional containment to residents who may need support during the night.

About the role
The Therapeutic Service Programme Manager provides strategic leadership and clinical governance for the Refugee Council’s therapeutic programmes, ensuring safe, high-quality care for separated children, adults and families seeking asylum.
