We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to join the Living Wage Foundation team as an Events Manager. You will be responsible for developing, delivering, and supporting the team with innovative events to promote the Living Wage movement, support the existing employer network, increase public support for fair pay and encourage Living Wage accreditation.

You will be responsible for our annual Champion Awards ceremony and organising parliamentary events, roundtables and webinars for our network of employers and beyond, as well as providing strategic oversight of events at our annual Living Wage Week in November where we celebrate Living Wage Employers nationwide with multiple events.

The ideal candidate would be an organised events manager, with strong project management skills, the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders internally and externally and the skills to establish strong relationships. This post will be joining a Communications team that spans events, media, digital communications and research, with colleagues based across the UK with monthly in-person team meetings. As part of the site services team the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the facilities team and assist in covering in the laundry, in the deep clean team or other works as and when required.

Role purpose

The Senior Challenge Fundraising Officer will lead the delivery and growth of APF’s third-party and mass participation challenge events portfolio.

This role exists to significantly grow income and participation by managing end-to-end third-party challenge events, developing community-facing charity-owned fundraising products and delivering excellent supporter stewardship

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and colleagues across Communications, Services and the Operations Team, you will increase recruitment, empower supporters to raise ambitious funds, and create journeys that encourage long-term engagement with APF.

Success in this role means more people fundraising for APF, raising more income and feeling valued, supported and inspired to stay connected to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

1. Grow participation in third party

• Manage the full lifecycle of third-party and mass participation challenge events, from planning and recruitment through to stewardship and re engagement.
• Develop and execute creative marketing strategies to boost participation and attract new event participants.
• Draft engaging promotional content that inspires and engages our supporters in collaboration with the Communications team.
• Promote third-party events proactively across relevant channels and networks.
• Work with the wider Fundraising team to improve and refine the stewardship journey for challenge participants to maximise the participant experience.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow participation in new and existing events.
• Attend key events as required, managing on-the day logistics and volunteer coordination.

2.  Community Product Development

• Work with Head of Fundraising to shape and improve APF’s fundraising offer and remote products.
• Test and refine new fundraising concepts that increase accessibility and broaden participation.
• Work collaboratively across teams to ensure our community fundraising products align with wider campaigns and strategic priorities.

3.  Income growth and fundraiser mpowerment

• Inspire participants to achieve ambitious fundraising targets through engaging, creative communications.
• Develop and enhance fundraising materials, including participant packs and digital resources to support our fundraisers.
• Use insight and sector trends to identify opportunities to boost event visibility and maximise fundraising efforts.
• Monitor fundraising performance to ensure we’re meeting targets and delivering strong ROI on our challenge activities.

4. Stewardship and re-engagement

• Foster personal connections with supporters through thoughtful, tailored stewardship that keeps them engaged and feeling valued.
• Create clear re-engagement plans to encourage repeat participation and long-term loyalty.
• Collaborate with wider Fundraising and Services teams to support acquisition and ensure our supporters have a smooth, high-quality supporter journey.
• Represent APF publicly when required, acting as a confident ambassador for the charity at events and in public settings.

5. Data, insight and compliance

• Support on the management of CRM data to enable accurate segmentation, performance tracking and reporting.
• Monitor recruitment, participation, income and ROI to help inform future planning and improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge with GDPR regulations and compliance and ensure personal data is handled responsibly and securely.
• Work closely with the Governance and Operations Manager to ensure our fundraising activities are fully compliant with GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.

We are looking for a resilient and dedicated person to join our team in Avon & Somerset team as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) dealing with Adolescent and Child to Parent Violence (APV/CPV). The service provides support across the whole geography of Avon & Somerset.

This role involves making initial contact with victims of adolescent and child to parent violence and providing initial support in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. The role is part-time and is hybrid working both from home and our office in Bristol (a suitable and confidential workspace at home is required).

About the Role:

You will provide high quality support to all victims of APV/CPV, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline.

Please note that due to the nature of the contract, an IDVA qualification is considered an essential requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess the risks and needs of APV/CPV victims using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
• Focus on and prioritise high risk cases and provide a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service. Deliver individually appropriate tailored support and information, advocacy, and practical support.
• Work with victims of APV/CPV to assist them in accessing services to keep them and their family safe. Develop individual safety plans to meet client's needs as identified in the risks and needs assessment.
• Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
• Work within the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults, including the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Adult and Children's Boards.
• Providing advocacy and information to victims including exploration of legal and civil options, housing, health and finance and support clients through the criminal justice system.
• Support the empowerment of the client.
• Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures, as well as all legislation connected to your work.

About you:

You will need:

• A good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
• A good understanding of APV/CPV and/or domestic abuse including the impact of these on victims and their children.
• Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children.
• Understand Safeguarding issues and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues
• Direct service delivery experience to victims of domestic abuse or APV/CPV
• Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework
• Experience of managing a complex caseload, to prioritise work and deal with competing demands
• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations
• Good communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
• To hold an IDVA qualification

Oasis Southampton City Farm is a community focused registered charity working in Southampton. We provide a range of supportive, wellbeing boosting, and nature-based activities for our communities, which include young people and adult learners with disabilities.

We are looking for sessional farm assistants who will support the Farm Lead in delivering the vision for the farm by supporting the delivery of the farm’s variety of activities, including:

 · To deliver youth activities on the farm, supporting young people to help care for the animals

· To deliver birthday parties on weekends to groups of up to 30,

· To deliver animal experiences, giving families the opportunity to meet and greet our rescued and rehomed animals

· To support our adult day service with caring for our animals

· To support with the animal cleaning and feeding rota, alongside groups or individuals.

About NUMbrella Lane: NUMbrella Lane (NBL) is one of few sex worker-led services in Scotland. It has been operating since 2022 after National Ugly Mugs (NUM) took over aspects of the programming from the charity that ran Umbrella Lane. Since then, the project has evolved to provide in-person health and wellbeing support to Scotland-based sex workers and host events and outings within the community with a focus on community connectivity, reducing isolation and addressing root causes of interpersonal and intersectional violence.

Role Summary: The main purpose of the Vocational Support Delivery and Development Assistant is to provide trauma-informed, non-judgemental vocational support to sex workers in Scotland. Support members to access tools, resources and pathways to income stability, career development and community-based opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and group-based vocational support (CVs, learning pathways, financial literacy) in person and online
• Facilitate workshops and peer-led sessions
• Run regular in person drop in sessions, responding to community needs
• Connect members with suitable training, employment, or educational opportunities.
• Assist with developing bespoke tools and resources in response to feedback
• Capture member progress via NUM’s evaluation frameworks and build a case study library
• Contribute to cross-team collaboration (casework, mental health, drop-ins) and promote services to members
• Contribute to the day to day running of NUMBrella Lane, which may look different week to week

Base & logistics: Activities are delivered UK-wide via a digital platform, remote services, and in-person hubs. NUM delivers its services UK-wide through a combination of digital resources, remote services and in-person hubs, including NUMbrella Lane in Glasgow. Staff work on a hybrid basis, with the balance of home and location based working based on business needs .This role is primarily in person at our Glasgow venue, with occasional travel possible for meetings, events, and outreach. There is some flexibility for working from home on tasks for which a physical presence in the Glasgow base is not required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Ability to engage in a confident and empathetic manner with community members facing barriers to accessing mainstream services and employment
• Facilitation of groups in person and online, including speaking, presenting, leading discussions, requesting feedback, distributing digital and physical resources, and upholding a value-led safer space

‘Generous Giving’ is a small but vibrant and established team that is part of the wider diocesan Mission and Ministry Team, under the leadership of the Director of Mission and Ministry. The focus of Generous Giving is to work with parish leadership
teams (both lay and ordained) across the diocese to develop and promote a clear vision for Christian giving by building on and encouraging a culture of generosity and enabling giving through a variety of mechanisms. This includes helping parishes to createan annual giving strategy that supports their local vision, as well as the diocesan vision and sustainability
through the parish share mechanism.

The Generous Giving Adviser will work proactively across the whole diocese to encourage the uptake of proven resources that support local parish funding initiatives including; regular giving, digital and online giving, legacy funding, grant application strategies and the use of financially efficient schemes such as Parish Buying. The Generous Giving Adviser will also promote, nurture and teach on Biblical generosity using existing discipleship resources.

This post is funded by the Archbishop’s Council via the Church of England’s National Giving Strategy. As such the successful applicant will receive additional support, resources and encouragement though the National Giving Network.
