We have an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Executive Team at St Mungo’s by providing high-quality administrative, organisational and coordination support. Joining the team as Executive Administrator you will help senior leaders run day to day work smoothly and efficiently, enabling them to focus on strategic priorities.

Working closely with the Business Manager to the CEO, you’ll take on a varied role within a supportive and collaborative team, gaining valuable insight into how a large homelessness charity operates.

In the role of Executive Administrator you will: 

• Contribute to the smooth running of the Executive Team by providing reliable, high quality support across a range of activities.
• Provide day to day administrative support, diary management, meeting and event planning.
• Build strong working relationships across the organisation and become a trusted point of contact for senior leaders and colleagues.

With exposure to senior leaders, key meetings and strategic decision-making, you’ll gain valuable insight while developing in a team focused on growth and coaching. Previous post holders have progressed into roles in Change and Transformation, Client Services and Governance.

Are you motivated to take on a leadership opportunity where you will influence strategy, shape specialist practice and improve outcomes for people sleeping rough?

We are looking for a dynamic, values‑driven leader to join our Pan London Rough Sleeping teams as Head of Specialist Rough Sleeping Services.

This vital role is central to our work with people facing multiple and overlapping barriers to ending homelessness, particularly migrant and non‑UK national rough sleepers who need specialist advice and support, and gives the opportunity to provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of specialist services, currently including MAPS, the Roma Rough Sleeping Team, London Navigators and StreetLink London.

• As Head of Specialist Rough Sleeping Services, you will set direction, drive quality and innovation, and ensure our services deliver meaningful recovery outcomes.
• You will offer inspiring matrix leadership across St Mungo’s, sharing expertise and strategic oversight to improve practice with some of the most marginalised people experiencing homelessness.
• You will act as a strong external facing advocate, building strong relationships with commissioners, funders and partners, and lead on business development, contract management and service growth to ensure our services remain high quality, sustainable and aligned with St Mungo’s mission.

About you

You will be an experienced leader with a track record of managing services for people experiencing homelessness, migrants or other vulnerable groups, and of guiding teams through change in complex environments.

You will be capable of balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery, ensuring services are high quality, compliant, financially robust and continuously improving.

You can demonstrate a strong knowledge of the policy and practice landscape affecting migrant and advice services, alongside health and social care, hostels, supported housing, and statutory and voluntary sector provision.

You will show clear understanding of the needs of St Mungo’s client groups, including non‑UK nationals, people with substance use and mental health needs, young people, and people with experience of the criminal justice system.

Crucially, you will lead with integrity and compassion, championing client involvement, embedding equality, diversity and inclusion into all aspects of service delivery, and supporting managers and teams to perform at their best.

Are you looking for a role where you can use your fundraising experience and expertise to support an end to homelessness through community engagement fundraising?

We are looking for a Community Fundraising Coordinator to join the Mungo’s Community and Events team. This new post will play a vital role in managing, developing and growing community engagement, awareness and fundraising.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing and developing the community fundraising portfolio for St Mungo’s on a national scale. This will include working alongside community groups, clubs and associations, schools and faith groups as well as individual fundraisers. You will also lead on new projects attached to community fundraising which can increase our profile and income levels. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop our community fundraising programme, taking ownership and managing new community fundraising initiatives.
• Lead the development and implementation of a range of fundraising activities, whilst nurturing current supporter relationships and developing new fundraising opportunities and networks.
• Engage and build strong relationships with community fundraisers / organisations. Developing supporter engagement through regular check in’s, face to face meetings, presentations and attendance of events.
• Support the growth of our national fundraising activities, by recruiting supporters and building an on the ground fundraising volunteer team.

Where you’ll be working

In this role you will work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in London. Travel across London and regions in the South of England is also required.

This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for hybrid working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

Due to the nature of the role, some evening and weekends will also be required to oversee relevant events. Out of hours work will be offered back in the form of time off in lieu.

While our Central Office is currently based in Tower Hill, London we plan to relocate in the summer of 2026 to a new space in Farringdon, London.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in community, corporate, or philanthropy fundraising. Experience in volunteering, social value or community engagement sectors would also be beneficial.

You will:

• Be comfortable managing income, working with a target driven approach while demonstrating success in growing income from supporters.
• Enjoy building strong, lasting relationships with supporters and volunteers, engaging with a variety of people, and working closely within the local community and seeking out opportunities to engage our fundraisers in St Mungo's work. 
• Be ready to take ownership of new and creative fundraising initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
• Show a willingness to work as part of a team and support a wide range of fundraising activities across the calendar year.

About the role

Westminster Atlas provides comprehensive, intensive support to people experiencing street homelessness and multiple disadvantage across Westminster. Using an assertive and persistent outreach approach, the team maintains frequent contact with clients to support them into accommodation, improve their wellbeing, and sustain positive outcomes.

Safety Net is a rapid-response service designed to support individuals with a history of rough sleeping who have previously exited homelessness services but are now facing difficulties that threaten their safety or the security of their home. These challenges may put them at risk of returning to rough sleeping or street-based activity. Safety Net intervenes early, offering timely, targeted support to help people remain safely housed and connected to services.

As a Safety Net Worker, you will provide short-term, intensive casework support to people at risk of returning to the streets. You will establish effective and person-centred casework systems, working proactively to resolve issues and prevent homelessness.

In this role, you will:

• Hold a caseload of clients who are at risk of returning to rough sleeping.
• Provide assertive, consistent and practical guidance and support tailored to individual needs.
• Carry out street outreach visits to support people to reconnect with services and return to, or sustain, their accommodation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Exact working days to be agreed upon. Some evening and weekend working may be required to meet the needs of clients.

Hither Green Service (Spring Gardens and Hilda House) is a busy, flagship service which provides you with the opportunity to join a specialised and committed team supporting 68, multiple excluded, highly vulnerable adults with complex needs in Lewisham. 

We are privileged to work with a diverse group of residents to identify and achieve their individual goals for their time living with us.

Working as an assistant night support worker you will provide a first point of contact to clients at night; being responsible for:

• Dealing with emergencies, undertaking regular wellbeing checks, monitoring the CCTV system for incidents and health and safety concerns.
• Working with the shift lead you will be responsible for undertaking tasks on the night shift task list and supporting the day team with client interventions handed over. 
• Reporting incidents or maintenance issues and communicating concerns or events to the rest of the team.

We are seeking full time positions although we are happy to consider job share part-time.

About you

The successful candidate will be able to communicate in a sensitive, assertive and nuanced manner that builds trust and effective working relationships with residents who are experiencing issues including substance and alcohol addiction, poor mental health, offending behaviour and histories of abuse.

You will be someone who is keen to be involved in helping people rebuild their lives after experiencing homelessness and can demonstrate the below.

• Understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerable people and the difficulties they experience in accessing services; or you may have personal experience of homelessness.
• Experience of managing complex and difficult situations in relation to people and basic strategies to deal with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
