EACS is an established voluntary sector provider of 1:1 low-cost counselling and psychotherapy to people living in Ealing.EACS serves a very diverse local population whose mental health needs often fall outside of NHS talking therapy; or where people may want a different space from the statutory services.We often support people who bring complex histories, needing more in-depth support over a longer period.

The role: Part-time Director

We are recruiting a Director to lead and oversee the strategic, operational, financial, stakeholder and personnel functions of EACS, who would enjoy a hands-on role working with a small part-time staff team, supporting a medium-sized organisation.

The role requires a broad skillset and brings a balance of engaging with internal day-to-day functions; and external collaboration borne out of a thorough grasp of all aspects of service-delivery and the culture of EACS.An understanding of the voluntary sector is important.

The role will bring a particular focus on long-term sustainability, financial resilience and increasing our visibility and reach, while continuing to maintain operational excellence and high-quality, compassionate service-delivery.

You will be joining a hard-working, collaborative staff team that has flourished within a supportive, non-hierarchical structure but where lines of responsibility are clear.

Key components of the role:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction while maintaining a strong operational ‘grip’
• Lead on income generation, securing key funding for long term financial stability 
• Strong relationship-building skills, leading with integrity, emotional intelligence and sound judgement
• Engage with mental health commissioners and represent EACS in meetings / collaborations with key partners in the public and voluntary sectors, and the wider community

Who we are looking for:

Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest and experience working in mental health; and current or previous management experience within the charity sector or other mission-driven organisation. 

Those with a background in the commercial sector who would value the opportunity to work within the voluntary sector, and who can demonstrate they have the skillset, qualities, attitude and values which underpin the role are also very welcome to apply.A qualified psychotherapist or counsellor would be highly desirable but is not essential.

The Opportunity

We are excited to be recruiting for a Principal Director to lead business development and commercial growth within our Consulting practice. This is a new role within the practice. We are seeking an experienced paralegal, or trainee solicitor to fill the post Employment Law Caseworker. We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our team at Guildford Foyer. You will respond promptly to any reported incidents, accidents, or concerns, carrying out thorough checks and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. You will also take a proactive approach to preventing anti‑social behaviour, working closely with support staff to maintain a positive environment. You’ll join Marie Curie’s Research Management and Impact team, part of the wider Research and Policy directorate. Marie Curie is the UK’s largest charitable funder of palliative and end-of-life care research, supporting a broad portfolio of research grants, partnerships and commissioned projects that influence policy, practice and public understanding.

As Research Manager, you’ll play a central role in supporting and developing Marie Curie’s growing portfolio of commissioned research. You’ll help colleagues across the organisation turn important questions into impactful research projects, supporting with pre and post award management, ensuring studies are well managed, effectively communicated and used to drive change.

From supporting the development of new commissioned research proposals to arranging internal decision making panels, managing projects post-award and maximising research impact, your work will help ensure evidence informs policy, practice and services across the charity and beyond. Your Impact:

• Support the management and coordination of Marie Curie’s growing portfolio of commissioned research projects.

Job summary

The Senior Policy and Research Manager will play a central role in building MNMUK’s advocacy arguments both globally and within the UK. The postholder will lead MNMUK’s flagship research projects, developing and commissioning new research, managing consultants, writing compelling reports and supporting the team with widespread dissemination across donor markets and media.

We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of developing, commissioning and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data/research, and who has had experience of working in a team to translate evidence and policy into advocacy arguments and media outputs. We are looking for a confident communicator (especially in written form) with strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

Research and evidence management

· Lead the development, commissioning and project management of quality research, data and insight projects to build advocacy arguments and drive news media coverage

· Lead on generating evidence, insights and research, including analysis of existing data (evidence reviews/secondary analysis) and primary quantitative/qualitative research

· Drive sustainable, well accepted processes to ensure the organisation uses up to date and accurate statistics and messaging

Lightbox Gallery & Museum is entering an ambitious new phase as we prepare for our 20th anniversary in 2027. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and initiative-taking fundraiser to help shape the organisation’s future by developing new income streams and leading our anniversary campaign, Lightbox20.

You will take ownership of the campaign activity across the organisation - developing strategy, building relationships with donors and partners, and delivering income to agreed targets. As a key member of the Trusts & Grants team, The Trusts & Grants Fundraiser will work closely with the Trusts & Grants Manager to raise funds from a portfolio of charitable trusts in accordance with Child Bereavement UK’s budgets and targets.
