A respected national organisation within the education sector is looking to recruit a People Change Officer to join their People & Workplace team on a fixed-term basis.

The Role
Job title: People Change Officer
Location: Victoria, London (SW1) / Hybrid – 6 days per month in the office

Salary: £37,150 per annum £1,000 London Allowance
Reporting to a People Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting organisational change processes, including redeployment and redundancy consultations. You’ll ensure processes are delivered smoothly, professionally, and in line with legislation and best practice.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong administration skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to balance empathy with professional boundaries.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting managers with employee consultations and conducting one-to-one consultation meetings
• Drafting letters and formal communications relating to organisational change
• Maintaining accurate records across HR systems (including Personio) and spreadsheets
• Providing guidance and support to employees navigating change processes
• Coordinating payroll changes, contract amendments, redeployment updates, and redundancy calculations
• Managing shared inbox queries and responding to change-related questions
• Supporting the planning and scheduling of consultation meetings and feedback sessions
• Maintaining project documentation, action logs, and risk registers
• Monitoring and reporting on progress across change initiatives
• Using AI-powered tools to draft and personalise clear, human-centred communications
• Supporting wider workplace activities during in-office days

The skills you will bring to the role:

• Proven experience in HR coordination, ideally within a change, restructuring, or redundancy context
• Experience supporting organisational change projects, including documentation and communications
• Strong written communication skills and high attention to detail
• Experience supporting payroll processes and contract changes
• Confidence managing multiple priorities and maintaining strict confidentiality
• Experience providing guidance and support to employees

Background

The Democratic Progress Institute (DPI) is an independent non-governmental organisation established in consultation with international experts in conflict resolution and democratic advancement. DPI seeks to promote peace and democracy building through strengthened public dialogue and engagement.

The Project Officer will implement programme and project activities while also providing strategy and administrative support to the CEO, helping to coordinate organisational priorities and key initiatives.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Project implementation

• Working with the Senior Programme Officer and other programme staff, play a central role in the implementation of programme and project activities, in line with donor requirements and organisational strategy, including but not limited to:
  • Logistical planning for events by researching suppliers, gathering quotes, and presenting options to support informed decision-making

o Preparation of events materials.

• • Managing event preparation when hosted in Turkey and abroad (including reserving tickets, arranging accommodation and transportation etc.)
  • Assisting with post-event financial reporting, including gathering receipts, logging expenditure, and supporting accurate allocation of costs in line with internal procedures.
  • Managing programme documentation, including maintaining records and supporting the collection and filing of consent forms.

o Drafting, editing and ensuring timely development, delivery and tracking of all necessary correspondence for DPI events (e.g. prepare agenda, contact speakers etc)

o Ensuring timely write up of the event proceedings (event publication) which requires taking detailed minutes during events, editing and finalisation to a high standard of the event discussions under Chatham House rules.#

o Support colleagues with the development of DPI research products and donor reports.

Strategic and administrative support to the CEO

 

· Work closely with the CEO on organisational strategy development and implementation of strategic priorities.

· Ensure the implementation of strong internal systems and processes.

· Provide research, drafting and administrative support to the CEO on an ad hoc basis.

· Support the CEO with other activities when required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

Essential:

 

• 2-3+ years working for an NGO, including supporting project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, English etc) or comparable practical experience.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, and experience developing and/or implementing project strategies.
• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

You will be key part of our Wellbeing and Communities directorate, offering vital support and strategic direction to our Learning and Wellbeing team to achieve our vision and meet funder requirements and coordinating the development of a new partnership aimed at improving health and wellbeing for people across North and West Bristol. · To develop and contribute to forums and partnerships that support the growth of our work in North Bristol, including working closely with health partners (community health, Primary Care and acute services) and the learning and employment sectors to develop collaborative services.

· To oversee the Learning and Wellbeing Service and activities, ensuring they meet funder requirements, targets, and quality standards, and are safe, effective and well-managed, including oversight of reporting and budgets and providing leadership and guidance to the Senior Coach.

About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to join WWF-UK’s Accounts Payable team within Accounting Operations. The Opportunity

A Cambridge-based education and research institution, rooted in the Islamic tradition, is seeking a Development Manager to lead fundraising and donor engagement.
