About the Role

As Major Gifts Officer, you will support delivery of agreed activity within the Major Gifts Team, successfully cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of mid-value individuals and trusts and delivering a range of agreed projects. Working closely with the Major Gifts Managers, you will evolve and continuously improve supporter stewardship and cultivation activity in line with their capacity and propensity to donate, continuously evaluating performance.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the delivery of the Major Gifts Strategy, improving Major Gifts performance. 
• Supporting the Major Gifts cultivation/stewardship programme to grow the number of supporters financially contributing mid value and major gifts.

• Read the book during each six week cycle and support the Book Club Manager to host and run the social media debates, video discussion and author Q&A's.

• Respond to member enquiries and comments on social media and through our shared mailbox.

• Proof Book Club communications across digital and print.

• Support the Book Club Manager with the supporter journey review.

• Work alongside the Book Club Manager and the Insight Team to create, deliver and evaluate the annual Book Club supporter survey.

• Research new book publishers to work with. Work with the Procurement team to keep details on all publishers up to date.

• Lead on the day to day running of the online Book Club community, by creating, scheduling and publishing engaging content (images, videos, carousels, gifs, copy etc.) across relevant channels to increase engagement and nurture advocacy.

• Ensuring a consistent tone of voice is delivered throughout all communications.

• Keep track of Book Club data and KPI's including discussion week feedback, author engagement, book topics and others.

• Support the Book Club Manager in the continual development of member journeys for both direct-debit members and gifted memberships across social media, email and face-to-face.

• Support the book club volunteers to assist with member communication, discussion week activities, stock management and in-person events.

• Work closely with Supporter Engagement team to implement member feedback.

• Represent Book Club at in-person events to grow the membership base.

As a Project Worker at our Harrow Road Assessment Hub in Westminster, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, highly skilled team supporting people taking their first steps away from rough sleeping and towards safety, stability and the right next move. Westminster has some of the highest levels of rough sleeping in the UK, and this short-stay service offers intensive, person-centred support to people who may be facing crisis, multiple disadvantage and limited routes into accommodation.

No two days will look the same. You’ll carry out assessments, build trusting relationships, create and review support plans, manage risk, and help people navigate real barriers such as health needs, immigration, welfare benefits, substance use, mental health and access to housing. • Has a good understanding of housing management or experience in a similar setting
• Is confident communicating with a wide range of people, including vulnerable residents

• Has experience (or an interest) in supporting residents with tenancy, wellbeing, or financial matters
• Is comfortable using IT systems and keeping accurate records

About The Role

We’re launching a brand-new Day Rehab Programme in North Northamptonshire and are looking for a Service Manager to help shape and lead it from the ground up. This is a part-time role (21 hours per week, with flexible working patterns available), offering the chance to build a service that will make a real difference in people’s recovery journeys.

West Sussex Parent Carer Forum (WSPCF) is an independent organisation for the parent carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).  We support parent carers by providing information, signposting, and training that equips them in their lifelong caring role and empowers them to participate in shaping services for their children and young people.  WSPCF is hosted by local Sussex based charity Amaze.
