We are looking for a passionate and skilled manager who has excellent communication and organisational skills. Working under the guidance of the Southern Regional Manager, you will oversee a staff team and an expanding network of peer programs across Surrey.

Experience of working with disadvantaged groups and an understanding of providing services to vulnerable people is essential, alongside an understanding of how lived experience can support this work.

Your work will involve maintaining and monitoring our existing HCT peer projects across Surrey. This will involve providing support and supervision to existing staff, managing operational issues on a day-to-day basis and overseeing the management of local projects. 

This post also involves regular liaison with external partners across the region, including key stakeholders and NHS colleagues at the Surrey Operational Delivery Network (ODN), alongside drug and alcohol services, hostels, outreach services etc.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will play a key supporting role within the fundraising team, assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the Communications team. With a key aim of delivering agreed activity and growing income from corporate partnerships.

This role focuses on supporting the identification and recruitment of new regional, national and international corporate supporters, while also playing a lead role in managing and stewarding existing partnerships, with particular responsibility for communications activity and delivery of sponsorship activities and events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting New Business Development

• Assist in researching and identifying prospective regional, national and international corporate partners aligned with the organisation’s mission and values
• Support the development of tailored proposals, pitches and presentations for potential corporate supporters

About the role 

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of services,  projects, events and member communications across the organisation. About This Job

This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the governance of risk in the Army Cadets.

In this critical organisational safety role, you will both generate medical risk assessments and assure those generated by others. You will ensure appropriate medical governance and compliance processes are in place, including identifying organisational clinical risks and recommending appropriate policies. You will oversee incident reporting and trend analysis to support continuous improvement. This will include developing systems and reporting frameworks to provide a clear understanding of the organisation’s medical risk profile and supporting the volunteer team delivering advanced skills training to highly qualified first aiders.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Supporter Engagement Manager position is a pivotal role in the Public Fundraising team, comprising seven specialist Fundraisers. The post-holder is responsible for driving growth in our Individual Giving programme through a mix of acquisition and retention campaigns.

Key internal relationships include the Head of Supporter Engagement and the Fundraising Management team.

The post-holder will work closely with the Fundraising Data Manager and the Community Engagement Manager on collaborative income generation and Supporter Engagement activities.

The post-holder will be instrumental in shaping the Individual Giving and Supporter cultivation strategies geared towards increasing our Cash and Regular Giving Supporter base.

The Individual Giving programme includes Cash Appeals, Regular Giving (including Door-to-Door recruitment), Hospice Lottery, Challenge Events, Legacies and Supporter Care. There is a strong focus on digital fundraising.

As a Shop Manager for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, you will deliver sales, Gift Aid and profit targets to generate income for our charity. You will empower and lead a diverse shop team, including volunteers, always demonstrating our Charity Values of:

The Shop Manager will be an integral part of the wider Charity team. 

Income Generation

• Accountable for the shop’s performance in relation to all sales targets and Gift Aid targets and KPI’s. Ensuring that the results are communicated to the shop team and that all staff and volunteers are aware of, understand and are working to meet/exceed the agreed targets and KPI’s.
• Actively drive stock generation through community engagement and donor relationships
• Ensure maximum stock availability through effective stock control and shop replenishment.
• Continually review the rotation, quality, and replenishment of stock in order to maximise sales.
• Achieve the optimum price point for all stock items and promotional merchandise for seasonal and window themes, following the principles of Alder Hey Children’s Charity price guidelines.

• Explore ways to maximise sales via events, donation drives, pop-up shops etc.

Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Supporter Care Administrator will play a vital role as the first point of contact for supporters and other stakeholders.

Supporter Care

As a Support Mentor, you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals which may involve sustainable living, independence, and overcoming mental health and substance use challenges.

You will do this through a combination of producing tailored support plans, activities, and partnership working. You will support us continue to work in a trauma informed way, and create a psychologically informed environment, which supports us in creating a safe, respectful, and responsive environment which puts our people and communities at the forefront. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support residents who may be facing challenges with multiple and complex needs
• Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
• Support residents to build skills and confidence to move towards independent living and overcoming personal challenges
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.
• Support with planning and delivery of activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities. This may include days out the service and in service activities
