We’re looking for two Project Delivery Managers, to help us deliver exciting projects across two different business areas, both playing a critical role in the realisation of our long-term strategic objectives.
What does this role do?
As Project Delivery Manager, you’ll:
- drive, facilitate and coordinate the delivery of multiple projects taking place across the division, from building detailed project plans to chasing up actions; you’ll be across all parts of each project,
- monitor progress of existing projects, ensuring interdependencies are managed, actions are moving forward, spend is monitored and everything stays on track,
- build key relationships across the division, collaborating effectively with subject matter experts in each department to enable their decision making,
- provide secretariat support for relevant steering groups, from circulating agendas and papers to recording actions and decisions,
- primarily focus on delivery and implementation, but some new projects will require scoping and planning.
At Dogs Trust, project delivery focuses on managing delivery teams, overseeing project progress, optimising processes, building and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring projects remain on track.
We currently have a vacancy covering our International work, which includes collaborating with sister charities in Ireland and Bosnia, and another in our Marketing and Communications division, which includes digital, brand and public affairs projects. About the Role
You will provide high quality support to all victims of APV/CPV, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline. If further funding became available there may be an opportunity for more hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of APV/CPV victims using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- Focus on and prioritise high risk cases and provide a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service. Deliver individually appropriate tailored support and information, advocacy, and practical support.
- Work with victims of APV/CPV to assist them in accessing services to keep them and their family safe. Develop individual safety plans to meet victim's needs as identified in the risks and needs assessment.
- Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
- Work within the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults, including the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Adult and Children's Boards.
- Providing advocacy and information to victims including exploration of legal and civil options, housing, health and finance and support victims through the criminal justice system.
- Support the empowerment of the victim.
- Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures, as well as all legislation connected to your work.
About you
You will need:
- A good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
- A good understanding of APV/CPV and/or domestic abuse including the impact of these on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children.
- Understand Safeguarding issues and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues
- Direct service delivery experience to victims of domestic abuse or APV/CPV
- Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework
- Experience of managing a complex caseload, to prioritise work and deal with competing demands
- Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations
- Good communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works and working for change - scaling and spreading the practices that make a difference.
One of the most important things we do is turn evidence into action through our change programmes, working directly with schools, local leaders and services to change practice and prevent violence. To deliver these programmes well, we need clear plans, smooth commissioning and procurement processes, accurate data and strong coordination across teams and partners.
The Programme Delivery Manager role is critical to making that happen, and it has two distinct elements:
Programme management for two Change programmes: You’ll be the hands-on programme lead for two of our main change programmes. You’ll work closely with the Change delivery team to put clear, aligned plans in place and then brilliantly manage those plans day to day, making sure everyone knows what’s expected of them and by when.
Commissioning and procurement support for the whole Change team: You’ll also be the go-to source of guidance and advice for Change colleagues who are procuring or commissioning other activity. You’ll help the team navigate processes correctly, ensuring commissioning is captured and maintained accurately in Salesforce and keep our ways of working consistent across the team. By keeping us organised and on track, you’ll help us maximise the impact of every pound we invest.
Key responsibilities
Your role has these two distinct but complementary elements. The first is hands-on programme management for two of our main Change programmes. The second is acting as a source of guidance, advice and practical support on commissioning and procurement for the wider Change team. Together, these responsibilities are essential to keeping our programmes on track and our commissioning processes running smoothly and consistently. Work with the delivery team to make sure we have clear, aligned programme plans in place, with timelines, milestones and owners for every workstream.

Brilliantly manage those plans day to day, making sure everyone knows what’s expected of them and by when, and that the team stays on track across multiple demanding workstreams.

Track dependencies and progress, flag risks to delivery early and coordinate solutions before issues become blockers.
2: Guidance, advice and practical support on commissioning and procurement for the Change team

Manage contracts and commissioning for delivery partners

Draft, prepare and execute agreements and subsequent variations with delivery partners and commissioned providers, using Adobe e-Sign where required.

Accurately input and maintain all programme data in Salesforce, including deliverables, financial commitments, payment schedules and supporting documents.

Ensure timely reporting and compliance with contractual requirements.

Resolve payment queries and discrepancies quickly, chasing outstanding invoices and reports where needed, and conduct regular data accuracy spot checks in Salesforce.

Support process improvements and ways of working

Work with the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager to keep the team’s commissioning and procurement processes consistent with YEF-wide ways of working.

Develop and maintain simple, effective tools for planning, tracking and reporting, building on the systems we already use (including Salesforce).

Identify and suggest process enhancements to drive efficiency and consistency across our programme and commissioning operations.

As a IDVA you will provide high quality support to victims of domestic violence and abuse. You will deliver and provide support in five key areas to support victims to:
- Feel safer
- Feel informed about their rights and the criminal justice system
- Feel listened to and heard
- Be able to implement healthy coping mechanisms
- Be connected with services who are available to help them
Key Responsibilities
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- provide appropriate non-therapeutic support to victims of domestic abuse via their preferred contact method.
- undertake needs and risk assessments to develop tailored individual safety and support plans to address the specific needs of the victim.
- use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential record keeping and contribute to the collection of outcomes.
- liaise with the police, social services, CPS, and other agencies on the client's behalf, with the client's consent maintaining confidentiality
- provide information to victims to enable them to make informed choices about their future options. Ensuring that the voices, needs, rights and legal entitlements of older people are heard and understood by all individuals and organisations.
About You:
Ideally, you will hold an approved and accredited IDVA qualification (or you must be willing to work towards one)
You will need:
- A strong understanding of domestic abuse and violence and the impact this has on victims.
- Experience of working with victims of crime (preferably domestic abuse) including completing risk assessments and safety planning
- Experience of managing a caseload and keeping clear case management records.
- Experience of adapting communication styles to be able to effectively communicate.
- An understanding of trauma informed practice and how to implement this within your work
- A through understanding of the criminal justice system and the Victim's Code
- An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and other legal requirements
- Good IT skills including experience with working within bespoke case management systems and using Microsoft Office Packages.

Your Role in Growing Our Forest Story
As the New National Forests Project Manager, you’ll lead on effective project management of centralised activities for the three new national forests.
Specifically, you’ll manage the centralised reporting of progress, targets and budgets, liaising closely with the programme managers for each new national forest.

No Second Night Out provides a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough. We are currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join our team and support our South Assessment Hub.
Our Assessment Hub is where rough sleepers are provided with a safe space from the streets. Clients in our service will have a range of support needs which include low to high levels of mental health and substance misuse, immigration support needs and other complex issues. While here we provide high level case work to rapidly find suitable move-on accommodation for our clients to end their homelessness.
This role will best suit someone who can adapt to a fast paced environment while contributing to and drawing strength from a supportive team of experienced colleagues.
In the pivotal role of Deputy Manager, you will work flexibly to support clients where they need us the most:
- Work closely with the service manager to ensure the effective day to day running of the service and performance against our service targets.
- Manage Health and Safety and building safety for the service, including completing and monitoring risk assessments, ensuring day-to-day concerns are resolved quickly and leading on building repairs.
- Provide supportive supervision and line management to Assessment and Reconnection Workers, and other team members including night workers and hub assistants; providing guidance on complex cases.
