2. MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

To support the management, administration and development of the Sustainable Future grant programme and occasional related initiatives. 
 

Assess and critically appraise project ideas, using sound judgement to provide clear, constructive guidance to prospective applicants.

4. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

4.1       GRANT PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

To work within organisational strategies and policies, and in accordance with the priorities and guidance as specified by the Programme Manager:
 

• Contribute to the delivery of all aspects of the grant cycle, including responding to applicant inquiries, assessment of applications, presenting and discussing applications with the grant committee and communicating decisions to applicants. On occasion, there may a requirement to contribute to this work for other JRCT grant programmes.

• Assist with monitoring grantees’ work and expenditure of JRCT funds.

• Contribute to the design and delivery of networking, convening or learning initiatives for grantees. 

• Manage and co-ordinate the administration of external events and consultations.  

• Assist the Programme Manager with the administration of proactive projects.

• Keep abreast of external developments through reading, attending conferences and similar events, and liaising with other funders.

• Contribute to the development of grant policy and grant programme reviews.

4.2 GRANT PROGRAMME ADMINISTRATION
 

• With direction from the Programme Manager, co-ordinate and contribute to the preparation and circulation of committee papers for the grant cycle, including writing assessment memos, meeting notes, agenda papers and minutes.  On occasion, there may a requirement to contribute to this work for other JRCT grant programmes.

• Use the grants administration database to process and monitor grant applications and provide reports and statistics.  Maintain accurate database records to enable the appropriate payment and ongoing monitoring of grants. 

• Ensure that effective information storage and retrieval systems (paper and electronic) are developed, maintained and managed for the programme area and maintain records of committee membership and subscriptions.

• Arrange and co-ordinate committee meetings and meetings with applicants/grantees on behalf of the Programme Manager, including related travel, accommodation and room bookings, liaising with trustees and co-optees.

• Liaise with other staff and external colleagues on behalf of the Programme Manager and assist in implementing good communication systems for the staff team and wider organisation.

Would you like to help send donated medicines around the world to those who do not have access to live-saving medicines? IHP is recruiting a Logistics Officer to become part of our growing logistics team who coordinate the safe and responsible donation of medical products to where the needs are greatest, so that people don’t suffer needlessly from treatable illnesses.

As a Logistics Officer you will play an integral role in IHP’s work arranging the shipping of donated medicines and medical supplies, for example our essential health packs and antibiotics, ensuring their secure transportation to disaster hit and vulnerable communities such as Sudan and Gaza.

Your responsibilites will include:

• ​Securing cost effective shipping quotes from some of the largest freightforwarders in the UK
• Preparing shipping documentation
• Ensuring shipping files are accurate and kept up to date
• Updating offers on our management system
• Communicating regularly with external partners, including key logistics partners, carriers, NGO's receiving shipments 
• Representing the Logistics team on the QMT (Quality Management Team)

Who you are:

Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homelessness services. We are seeking to appoint a Compliance Officer for an immediate start. Reporting to the school's in-house Legal Advisor, you will ensure the school operates in full compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and internal policy requirements, promoting a culture of compliance across all areas of school activity.

This role is initially offered on a one-year fixed-term contract working term-time, plus INSET days and a further three weeks during the school holidays (38 weeks). The role also has part-time support provided by the Compliance Administrator.

We support psychoanalysts, psychotherapists and the local community by providing psychotherapy treatment rooms and space for training and events related to developing psychological services.

About the role:

We are seeking a part-time Finance Officer to support the financial management of the organisation and strengthen our internal financial systems.

Working closely with the Programme Manager and Finance Sub-Committee, the Finance Officer will maintain accurate financial records, support grant reporting and provide financial information to support organisational planning and governance.

This role is particularly suited to someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys working in a small mission-driven organisation and contributing to the development of robust financial systems.

Summary of tasks:

·Day-to-day bookkeeping and maintenance of Xero

·Managing payments

·Reconciling bank transactions and maintaining accurate financial records

·Maintaining clear financial records and audit trails to support internal controls and financial transparency

·Submitting monthly payroll info to accountant, including HMRC and pension submissions

The Digital Transformation Officer will support CCT’s strategy with the replacement/upgrade of its current digital information systems with a new fit for purpose digital environment and manage the Trust’s move to this new environment.

We support over 16,000 young people each year by providing accommodation, health support and life skills to help them move on from homelessness. Our ambition is to end youth homelessness by 2037.

As a Education & Training Officer you will be working with a small team responsible for education, awareness and training for partners, professionals and the local community. You will be delivering content relating to domestic abuse - and will need to deliver training sensitively in accordance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-creation and continuous review of training content to ensure information is current
• Deliver of online and in person training, in isolation or with other team members
• Undertake administration accordingly - including managing delegates, registers and evaluation

About You:

Ideally, you will to be aware of the impact of domestic abuse on families, workplaces and communities, and are resilient to deal with any disclosures and safeguarding matters arising. You will have some experience of delivering multi agency training and creating presentations. You will have the skills to be able to create high quality presentation/information in an easy to follow format.

You will need:

• Experience of presenting to, training, and developing people.
• Experience of partnership working, engaging with organisations and building relationships.
• Experience of gathering, managing and presenting data in reports and presentations.
• Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people.

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. Brief role description ​

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of our website, email marketing, and digital assets. They will play a key role in user engagement, service promotion, and data-driven decision-making.​

The Digital marketing Officer will manage and optimise our WordPress website and DotDigital email platform, ensuring all content aligns with brand and accessibility standards. The role will contribute to creative content development and campaign ideation, as well as tracking and reporting performance across channels to support the marketing manager with data-driven recommendations. ​

Main Responsibilities of the Job

• To provide support and assistance during journeyspick up and drop of duties at the commencement and end of sessions at our day centres.

• Through partnership, support and develop peoples skills, confidence and interests as part of a multi-disciplinary day service offer.

• The working day is  8.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday -  The current rate reflects the additional hours
