About the Department

The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership was set up in 2017 with the mission to 'develop inspirational leaders who are called, connected, committed to deliver the Church of England vision for education'. Since then, it has operated a wide range of leadership development programmes, networks, research, conference and events, and published a range of key leadership resources to equip school leaders at every level to put their vision into practice.
Part of this provision has been as a very successful national provider of NPQ programmes. Beginning in 2017 with the delivery of NPQs for Headteachers, our suite of programmes has now expanded to include programmes for Specialist Teachers, Senior Leaders and also Executive Leaders. More recently, a partnership between the Church of England and the Catholic Education Service is also enabling programmes to be delivered more widely as together our school provision represents around 34% of the sector.

In 2025, the department will launch three new national programmes: Flourishing Leaders, Flourishing Teachers, and Flourishing ECTs (in partnership with UCL). These programmes respond to growing demand for high-quality, values-led professional learning and represent a significant expansion of our work across the education sector.

About the role
We are seeking a Programme Officer who will support the Church of England Education Office's Professional Learning Team. The role is part of a wider team of Programme Officers who support a variety of functions across both the NPQ suite and the Flourishing programmes. Programme Officers work across different portfolios, supporting delivery through directly contracted Delivery Partners and via our National Programme delivered by the Education Office.

Working collaboratively, Programme Officers take on different areas of responsibility to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality programmes across the country. This role offers the opportunity to develop project management and programme delivery skills in a holistic and supportive environment.

Internal-facing Support

• Maintain the integrity of data within Salesforce and other systems. Trouble-shoot errors when seen.
• Support the effective programme management, launch and delivery of NPQs and Flourishing programmes.
• Lead on administrative tasks relating to the delivery of the programmes, including participant recruitment, onboarding and ongoing participant management (e.g. processing withdrawals and deferrals, supporting participant assessments).
• Provide event administration support, including scheduling, online meeting setup, and updating learning platforms (e.g. Blackboard).
• Assist with the preparation of reports on recruitment, engagement, and quality assurance.
• Provide administrative support across delivery functions, including inbox management, form creation, and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement by collecting and organising feedback from participants, facilitators, and partners to inform programme development and enhance delivery.
• Be prepared to work flexibly across the team, supporting different areas of programme delivery as needed to respond to changing priorities and ensure smooth operation.

External-facing Support

• Provide high-quality, courteous and caring first-line support for participant and partner queries via shared inboxes.
• Support the Learning Technology team with online event administration and technical support.
• Assist applicants and sponsors with the application process and IT-related queries.
• Use data systems, to identify and support Delivery Partners who have participants who are at risk of falling behind, in order for them to take swift action to ensure support is put in place and their participants are able to catch up in a timely manner.
• Support the onboarding and coordination of Coaches and Facilitators across all programmes.
• Act as the first point of contact in online sessions, supporting facilitators to use key features of Zoom and Teams (e.g. breakout rooms) and answer queries from participants, coaches and facilitators.
• Maintain accurate records of contractual milestones and deliverables for external partners.
• Liaise with Delivery Partners to ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks and meeting of their contractual milestones.

Essential

Circumstances

Whilst this is a remote role, the post-holder will need to travel on occasion. This could be for NSE Team Days, NSE Residential (one overnight stay in the Autumn each year), Professional Learning Team Days, other events such as the National Conference, DP Days etc. It is anticipated that there will be approximately 12 travel days per year, although this will vary.

Your role

The vision for this role is to see CMS’s three key mission objectives achieved in a Latin American context.  This will specifically involve working to see two mission hubs in Latin America flourishing, with CMS contributing to these hubs through three main means of mission – people in mission, grant partnerships and capacity strengthening.  The role also includes the management of CMS’s people in mission serving within region.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of Roehampton Restored – a high‑profile, multi‑million‑pound capital project within the Grade I listed landscape of Richmond Park.

With planning consent secured and enabling works underway, you’ll take responsibility for the built and hard‑landscape elements of the project through RIBA Stages 4–7, delivering a new café, public toilets and cycle hire facilities to an exceptional standard. About You

About the role:

As a Family Caseworker you will be joining a passionate and committed team who provide a high quality and bespoke support to our service users. We are looking for a creative, proactive events professional to help us build on our existing events offer. You will lead a small team to develop and deliver the College’s events programme, including our annual conference, to increase engagement with the sexual and reproductive healthcare community and raise the College’s profile with new and existing audiences. 

The role:

Events management

• Works with the wider CoSRH team, including members of the College, to develop an annual events programme to meet our educational responsibilities, provide networking and membership growth opportunities and raise the profile of the College
• Works with and supports members and staff through project groups to deliver events (digital, in-person and hybrid), including programme design, speaker and stakeholder liaison, logistics, and evaluation
• Works closely with the Marketing and Digital teams, develops project timelines for events and conferences ensuring clear definitions of roles and responsibilities for delivery of projects 
• Selects and manages all technology and systems required to deliver remote/digital events, including sourcing, selection, implementation, and management of CoSRH hosting and communications platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom) as well as subscription management and linkage with external organisation systems where required

Job Purpose

• · Provide a specialist psychological advice, guidance, and consultation to staff in primary care, contributing directly to client’s formulation and treatment. This will include assessment, individual and group interventions, risk management and referral on to other mental health services as required.
• · Provide specialist advice on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management and including liaising with staff across all sectors of care (for example primary care, secondary care and specialist/tertiary services). This will include support for all staff at Mind in Bexley when present in the office.
• · Support the Head of Psychological Therapies IAPT and Clinical Lead and Service Lead with service performance responsibilities and representing the service at the external meetings, e.g. with G.P’s and ICB commissioners and other meetings as needed.
• · Support the Safeguarding Lead with Safeguarding staff queries across the organisation with documentation and management. This includes regular attendance at the local safeguarding meetings as required.
• · Support the Head of Psychological Therapies as a senior clinician, manager and leader for a team of psychologists, psychological therapists and trainees. This will include governance responsibilities, creating and implementing polices, service development, recruitment, performance reviews etc.
• · Working closely with the Head of Psychological Therapies IAPT and the Service Lead to maintain electronic systems for referrals, appointments, activity and outcome monitoring for performance management, including continuous audit and evaluation of service. Ensure appropriate use and administration of such systems by other members of staff within the service and provide support when needed.
• Communicate across language and cultural barriers, including working for sustained periods of time by communicating with patients, carers or groups through professional interpreters or advocates.
• · Be responsible for recording, monitoring and reporting on clinical work and communicating in a skilled and sensitive manner, highly complex, sensitive or contentious information concerning the assessment, formulation, treatment plans and progress of patients in both verbal and written formats.
• · Support the implementation of national standards for competencies in CBT and Counselling practice across primary care teams by ensuring that team members make use of appropriate supervision, training and outcomes monitoring.
• · Work closely with the Head of Psychological Therapies and Clinical Lead in motivating, evaluating and developing high and low intensity services and counselling services.
• · To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues in relation to both the specific client group and mental health.
• · Employ a broad theoretical knowledge of psychology and specialist clinical skills to develop and support the psychological skills of others (including graduate mental health workers, trainee and qualified psychologists, and members of other staff groups) through the development and delivery of teaching, training and supervision programmes.
• · Ensure that all members of multidisciplinary teams have access to a psychologically based framework for the understanding and care of patients and families/carers referred to the service, through the provision of advice and consultation and the dissemination of psychological research and theory.
• · Work closely with The Head of Psychological Therapies on developing service areas, including development of referral pathways, delivery of group and individual interventions and systematic governance of psychological practice within the service.
• · Ensure the development and articulation of best practice in psychology within the service area and contribute across the service by exercising the skills of a reflective and reflective scientist practitioner, taking part in regular clinical and professional supervision and appraisal and maintaining an active engagement with current developments in the field of clinical psychology and related disciplines.
• · Contribute to departmental governance and service management activities such as data collection and reporting of outcomes within community services, commissioners and other stakeholders as appropriate.
• · To contribute to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice, through active participation in internal and external CPD training and development programmes, in consultation with the post holder’s professional and service managers in the field of IAPT and related disciplines.

Education/Qualifications 

Essential 

• Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology plus further post graduate level diploma qualification training in a psychological therapy which may be CBT or another IAPT appropriate evidence based therapy (i.e. IPT) and/or Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course or equivalent of BABCP accredited Post Graduate CBT training course.

• Accredited as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist by the British Association of Cognitive & Behavioural Psychotherapies (BABCP) or nearing completion of accreditation process. 

• Minimum four years post qualification and significant experience working as a fully qualified psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences as required.

• Significant experience of working within primary care psychology and/ or Talking Therapy service 

• Formal training in supervision and experience of training and supervising qualified and pre -qualification psychologists, and/or high intensity and low intensity CBT therapists and counsellors. 

• Experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for patients’ psychological care and treatment, both as a clinician, supervisor and team coordinator.

• Experience of work in a multi -cultural setting, including working with interpreters. 

• Managerial experience and experience in leading a team of therapists and counsellors 

• Evidence of continuing professional development.

• Experience of teaching prequalification psychological therapists and other NHS staff. 

• Knowledge of key service development issues including mental health and primary care mental health/ IAPT
