We run residential programmes that often begin this journey, alongside a nationally certified Leadership Training Programme and regular Youth Hubs in London and Bristol offering year-round community and support.

We are now recruiting a Bristol Community Coordinator to lead and grow our Bristol Hub – a welcoming weekly space where young people connect, learn and lead.

Key Responsibilities (Full details in attached Job Description)

Hub Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the safe and effective delivery of OSH Hub sessions year-round

• Plan, deliver and review sessions independently, shaped by OSH’s values and young people’s interests

• Manage referrals and onboarding, ensuring inclusion and accessibility

• Plan engaging hub content, including coordinating external partners

• Act as a consistent youth leader, managing day-to-day delivery and supporting wider projects

• Develop new activities in line with agreed strategy and budgets

Youth Leadership & Volunteers

• Support progression into OSH’s leadership training programmes

• Create meaningful leadership opportunities for young people

• Support local volunteers, including rota coordination, training and wellbeing

Partnerships & Community

• Build and maintain relationships with local partners, referrers and facilitators

• Represent OSH in local youth and refugee networks

• Ensure smooth pathways between the Hub and other OSH programmes

Safeguarding, Systems & National Contribution

• Take responsibility for safeguarding and risk assessments across all hub activity

• Track attendance and engagement using OSH’s CRM (Beacon)

• Handle petty cash and participant reimbursements responsibly

• Identify and respond promptly to safeguarding concerns

• Take part in OSH events, including evenings, weekends and residentials (2–5 nights)

• Contribute stories and reflections for communications and fundraising

• Share learning and best practice with colleagues across the organisation

Signposting & Advocacy

• Build supportive relationships with participants and provide appropriate ad hoc support

• Signpost young people to specialist services where needed (e.g. legal, housing, education, wellbeing)

Person Specification

• Experience planning and facilitating inclusive youth sessions, ideally with marginalised young people and those with lived experience of the asylum system

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed, participatory youth work

• Confidence in safeguarding, risk assessment and participant welfare

• Excellent communication skills in cross-cultural settings

• Ability to build trust, motivate young people and foster belonging

• Strong organisational and administrative skills; able to work independently

Main Purpose of the Post 

To take the lead for Human Resources within Salford CVS, under the direction of the Deputy Chief Executive.

Salford CVS is recruiting a proactive Human Resources Officer to lead our HR function. Working closely with the Deputy Chief Executive, you’ll manage HR records, support recruitment and induction, ensure compliance with legislation and GDPR, and maintain up‑to‑date HR policies and processes. You’ll also coordinate staff training, benefits, and HR metrics to support organisational development.

This role is ideal for someone organised, confident with HR systems, and passionate about supporting a positive workplace culture.

Specific Duties

• Maintain all Human Resources records for staff members including holiday and absence records, staff appraisals and reviews
• Ensure that current Human Resources legislation is being correctly implemented across the organisation.
• Identify and recommend areas for system improvement
• Ensure that appropriate policies are in place and being followed by the workforce
• Support recruitment process lifecycle
• Support staff inductions and help staff to understand Salford CVS policies and values
• Coordinate any external staff benefit schemes, for example Hospital Saturday Fund
• Coordinate staff training and development requirements and to incorporate these into an organisation-wide training and development plan
• Compile and analyse information on HR issues, training, or other areas within the remit of this job function
• Use and manage SharePoint and MS365 tools to support Human Resources processes and document management
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations for all Human Resources records and processes
• Monitor and report on Human Resources metrics (e.g., turnover, absence rates) to inform decision-making

About the Role

As Programme Coordinator for Money Heroes, you’ll play a pivotal role in our flagship primary programme, helping children develop financial capability.

You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Money Heroes team to:

• Coordinate teacher training events and programme delivery
• Support marketing, promotion, and social media campaigns
• Coordinate content development and website updates
• Help monitor and evaluate programme impact
• Provide high-level customer service to teachers, educators, and YE colleagues

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality experience for schools and partners, building positive working relationships with teachers, consultants, partner organisations and colleagues across Young Enterprise, including senior leaders.
• Support the delivery of the Money Heroes teacher training and mentoring offer, helping educators feel confident and well supported.
• Keep track of programme activities using databases and spreadsheets, including teacher and parent sign-ups and training or mentoring events.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team and Programme Manager to support the growth and visibility of the programme, including contributing to marketing communications and coordinating activity to maintain engagement.

A few practical things

• This is a hybrid role based in London or Oxford, with a minimum of 8 office days per month
• The contract runs until December 2027

About the Role

You will recruit, assess and train volunteers to become independent visitors, who are volunteer befrienders to children and young people looked after or care leavers. You will manage a cash flow to fund suitable activities for independent visitors to enjoy with the young person. You will manage data and reporting for this statutory service so that service leads and other stakeholders can understand the activity in the service.

We are a child led service, you will not act outside of the young person’s instructions (except in matters of child protection and safety.)You will build strong relationships with the child or young person, independent visitors and other significant adults, you will support Independent Visitors to develop long term, meaningful friendships with the young person.

You will work in partnership with other parts of the service, organisation and external agencies and professionals. This is to ensure there are pathways to attract and retain Independent Visitors in the area and sometimes out of area.

About the role

The Public Fundraising Manager (Stewardship and Retention) is responsible for leading public fundraising programmes across retention campaigns, newsletters, community and events, legacy and in-memory giving. We’re looking for a Statutory Fundraising Manager to lead and grow our statutory income at a pivotal time for Sense. Statutory fundraising is a key growth area, and this role will shape our approach to securing funding from government bodies, lottery funders and public sector partners.

About you

You’ll be an experienced statutory fundraiser with a strong track record of securing significant funding and managing funder relationships. You’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders, comfortable with financial and impact reporting, and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

You’ll bring:

• Proven success securing income from statutory and lottery funders, including six-figure grants (seven-figure desirable).
• Experience developing funding proposals aligned to organisational strategy, including monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong experience managing relationships with government and public sector funders.
• Confidence in budget setting, financial reporting and income/expenditure management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including bid and report writing.
• Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder-management skills.

Desirable experience includes:

• Working with consortia or acting as a lead grant holder.

The charity has been supporting children, young people and families for over 25 years through a range of play, family support and youth programmes. Their Ofsted-registered after-school and holiday play schemes provide children aged 4–11 with safe, engaging and nurturing environments to explore, grow and thrive.

As Deputy Play Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role within the play service, helping to design, deliver and evaluate a high-quality programme of activities. You’ll support the Play Manager in day-to-day operations (including managing enquiries/collection of fees), team management and ensuring compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted standards.

This is a hands-on role combining leadership, planning, and active delivery — you’ll work directly with children and families to create safe, inclusive, and stimulating play environments.

About You

Essential skills and experience:

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in Playwork, Early Years, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working directly with children aged 4–11.
