While playing a key role within the wider Development Directorate, you will guide how Mary’s Meals is seen, understood, and felt in Northern Ireland – shaping our public profile, driving sustained income growth, and building the partnerships and grassroots energy needed to grow our movement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working cross-directorate to create and deliver a fundraising growth strategy for Northern Ireland, rooted in regional insight, cultural understanding, and community needs, and aligned with the global and national strategy.​

• Working with the Communications team, shape a clear and compelling narrative, respecting the nation’s strong identity.​

• Identify emerging opportunities across Northern Ireland, including diocesan networks, local relationships, and regional giving patterns, adjusting plans quickly to drive maximum impact.​

• Serve as the senior MMUK representative in Northern Ireland, ensuring activity aligns with the national organisational strategy.​

• Act as the leading spokesperson for Mary’s Meals in Northern Ireland, representing the charity to churches, schools, local authorities, individuals, universities, and community or business networks.​

• Spend focused time externally; networking, nurturing partnerships and driving growth through representing the charity at events, meetings, faith gatherings, conferences, and civic forums.

• Proactively cultivate, pursue, and develop fundraising opportunities via networking and outreach with the aim of securing support for our school feeding programme.​

• Develop and maintain a robust national growth pipeline, ensuring proactive identification, cultivation, conversion, and stewardship of opportunities.​

• Significant focus on the growth and development of new Volunteer Fundraising Groups in counties across Northern Ireland.

• Line manage and coach a Regional Development Officer, enabling them to become a confident, high‑performing fundraiser.

• Serve as a trusted media spokesperson for press, broadcast, and faith media when required.​

• Work closely with the Communications team to provide compelling local supporter stories, impactful moments, and local activity to showcase.​

• Shape national to local messaging so that campaigns resonate with audiences across Northern Ireland.

The Role

Working within the Impact & Effectiveness team, you will:

Lead on Evaluation & Learning Approaches

• Design and implement proportionate, inclusive approaches to data collection, evaluation and evidence generation.
• Identify gaps in learning and devise realistic plans to fill them.
• Develop organisational tools, templates and reporting systems that make learning engaging, accessible and consistent.

Generate Insight & Drive Improvement

• Analyse qualitative and quantitative data and synthesise clear, actionable insights.
• Commission and manage external evaluation partners where required.
• Produce evidence that supports decision-making, accountability to Trustees, and continuous improvement across programmes.

Support and Equip Colleagues & Grant Holders

• Build MEL capability across the organisation through training, guidance and practical tools.
• Support applicants and grant holders with metrics, approaches and evaluation design.
• Help embed learning loops so insights flow between project delivery, strategy and grant-making.

Collaborate Across the Charity

• Work closely with the Grants team to strengthen impact questions within applications and reporting.
• Provide evidence and insight to Communications and Fundraising colleagues.
• Contribute to organisational learning events, thematic analysis, and partner-focused reflection sessions.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Experience advising on or designing MEL approaches in a public or charitable context

• The ability to juggle complex information, respond to competing priorities and support others
• Familiarity with NHS or mental health settings (desirable)

We’re looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to join the Individual Giving team at Prostate Cancer UK. We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and a fantastic culture. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including digital, telephone and direct mail, helping fund research that will save and improve lives. 

In this role you’ll help drive forward our ambitious five-year fundraising strategy as we continue to grow income year on year to have the biggest impact for men. You will lead on our value exchange programme, working closely with the digital team and our telephone partner to continually optimise results. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a multi-channel campaign. You will also work on wider telephone conversion campaigns and direct mail as well as other test channels with the aim of recruiting new regular and cash supporters as well as re-engaging those who have lapsed. You’ll also help develop and test welcome journeys to engage supporters with our work and make them feel valued. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the best results. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights. 

What we want from you 

Experience or knowledge of managing direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels, ideally digital, telephone or direct mail, and preferably gained from a fundraising environment.

You’ll possess first class communication and project management skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be a self-starter, with a curious nature and a keen eye for detail.Knowledge of data protection and sector compliance would also be beneficial.

As the M365 Engineering Lead within Cadet Digital Services, you will play a central role in designing, developing and improving the CadetNET Microsoft 365 environment that supports tens of thousands of cadets and volunteers across the United Kingdom.

You will lead the M365 Squad and guide the technical direction of the CadetNET platform, ensuring it remains secure, governed correctly and aligned with Defence and public sector standards. Magpas Air Ambulance brings the very best pre-hospital emergency care, in the air or on land, including treatments usually available in a hospital. In 2025, we experienced our busiest year on record, our lifesaving service is in continued and growing demand, we need a dedicated and ambitious Senior Philanthropy Officer to help us deliver our plans to raise vital funds from philanthropic audiences.

Role Summary:

• Identify, develop and manage a portfolio of funders and donors including trusts, foundations and major donors to meet financial and non-financial targets
• Maximise income through the development of co-ordinated stewardship and relationship management
• Produce compelling proposals, reports, and presentations. and deliver inspiring base tours.
• Source funding for specific projects and work programmes, as well as core costs
• Manage an opportunity pipeline, research and identify new prospects
• Report progress against financial and non financial KPI’s on a monthly basis
• Support the Philanthropy Manager with strategic projects to build and develop philanthropy at Magpas Air Ambulance

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in a philanthropy or fundraising relationship management role, within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
• Strong track record in securing and managing philanthropic donors and building long-term relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport with Trusts and Foundations, HNWI’s, Trustees and Senior volunteers.
• Experience in managing donor portfolios and opportunity pipelines.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple applications/relationships simultaneously
• Full driving licence with own transport

We are looking for a Head of International Programmes to be responsible for delivering an international strategy, and developing the capacity and reach of the charitys global network to best meet the needs of its beneficiaries.

This role will include developing close relationships with international partners to help them identify their needs, and deliver programmes and projects to meet them. The Charity

The Role
Identify opportunities from within the charitys global network to grow and develop the capacity of the network.

Maintain and develop a pipeline of project and programme opportunities to present to donors to fund the charitys work internationally.

Raise grants, including securing funding from corporates as well as trusts and foundations.

Maintain and build key relationships with external stakeholders, such as core funders and partners.

Manage the International Programmes and Grants Manager.

The Candidate
Experience at a senior level in a relevant area.

Experience of programme and project management ideally in a development setting.

Experience of creating and delivering organisational strategies.

Experience of grant fundraising and management ideally in an international setting.

Experience of managing staff and volunteers.

History of directly managing people, steering projects, and guiding teams towards achieving strategic goals.

Desirable
Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church.
Knowledge of the maritime sector.
