About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Philanthropy Team in a brand-new role that will play a key part in securing transformational funding for Alder Hey Children's Charity.
As Bid Writer, you will lead on the development of compelling, high-quality funding applications to large-scale national grant programmes and, over time, statutory funding bodies. Collaborating across the Charity and the hospital, you will translate complex clinical, research and capital projects into persuasive, evidence-led cases for support that inspire investment in the future of children's healthcare.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys writing, research and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll bring together ideas, evidence and expertise to shape ambitious projects into funder-ready proposals with the potential to make a lasting difference for children and families.
We're looking for an excellent communicator with outstanding writing skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Key responsibilities will include:
Bid Development & Writing
Lead the development and writing of high-quality funding applications to national grant programmes and, over time, statutory funding opportunities.
Produce compelling, tailored funding applications that clearly demonstrate need, impact and outcomes.
Manage a varied pipeline of funding applications, ensuring multiple deadlines are delivered to a consistently high standard.
Research & Opportunity Development
Research and identify new funding opportunities that align with the Charity's strategic priorities.
Develop and maintain a proactive pipeline of opportunities, working closely with colleagues across the Charity.
Collaboration & Project Development
Work with clinicians and charity colleagues to gather information and develop strong funding propositions.
Translate complex clinical and technical information into accessible, engaging and persuasive cases for support.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Ensure applications meet funder guidance and eligibility criteria
Maintain accurate records of applications and outcomes using the charity CRM.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of bid writing processes, templates and resources across the team.

Additional Information
In April 2025, the charity adopted a four-day working week policy. Staff previously working 37.5 hours now work 30 hours across four days, maintaining full pay while supporting a better work-life balance.

RCJ Advice is an exceptional Citizens Advice and Law Centre delivering national legal advice services, both frontline and second tier, to people who are unable to afford legal representation and advice. We are based within the Royal Courts of Justice, the Central London Family Court and community sites across London, where we deliver local Citizens Advice services.
This role offers the opportunity to join the Finding Legal Options for Women survivors (FLOWS) team.

This is a 2-year funded post with specific responsibility to improve and increase our support to those over 65 who are experiencing financial hardship
In the brand-new role of team leader, you will take on the responsibility ofproviding structured line management to our existing advice service. Supporting our four skilled and experienced part-time advice workers, while also expanding the service.
You will coordinate and deliver advice and information to new and existing groups including our own Older People’s Lunch Clubs.
Establish new satellite provision, delivering finance workshops, and drop-in services, and providing additional delivery capacity.
Ensure our Advice and Information team keep up to date with changes to legislation and support mechanisms so that they are empowered to support people in a holistic way. This will include signposting service users to the most appropriate support both internally, to other parts of our service, and to other external support.
You will lead on our efforts to gain the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) to ensure our service is of the highest professional standard.
You will represent ICCM on relevant panels and network groups across Greater Manchester. This ensures our service is connected to the wider support landscape and integrated with city and region-wide initiatives.
You will be expected to take on a limited caseload of one-to-one appointments providing advice and information to people.

· Provide oversight of the referral and booking system and the Case Management System to ensure all client activity is recorded. Working with the Administrator and other staff to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
· Review and enhance the outcomes monitoring system for the service. Ensuring good data collection and reporting internally and for funders.
· Recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and make referrals where necessary in line with ICCM’s policies and procedures.

What the job involves
We’re looking for two Events and Community Coordinators to join our Events and Community Team, one permanent contract and one fixed term for 12 months. We’re a results-driven team focused on maximising opportunities, reaching ambitious goals, and delivering an outstanding experience for our supporters.
Our team raise funds through a range of activities including:
· our own events (e.g. March for Men)
· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)

You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers, providing admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. Whilst each Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also work across teams to support where needed during busy periods of activity. This role sits within the Sporting Events sub-team, supporting people taking on third party fundraising events such as the TCS London Marathon, a cycling event or our own event, March for Men. Day-to-day, you’ll manage our inbox and proactively reach out to new fundraisers to offer support and guidance, as well as delivering core processes like thanking, fulfilment and volunteer management in collaboration with other internal teams.
You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising activity, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

GARAS is recruiting a Refugee Resettlement Officer to support the significant expansion of our Refugee Programme through the UKRS and ARAP Resettlement Schemes. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective and efficient operation of our Refugee Resettlement Team, which offers comprehensive advice and support to refugees from various backgrounds.

Job Summary
The purpose of the job is to assist individuals and families in their resettlement into life in Gloucestershire. Interventions will be aimed to ensure families gain independence and feel integrated into their new communities. Clients come from a variety of traumatic backgrounds, and are often living with the effects of their experiences, which may include trauma, PTSD, and domestic abuse situations.
To support individuals and families through five stages of integration to include: Preparation, Housing, Finance, Education, Health and Employment.
To work with key partners across the geographical area to ensure refugees who arrive through the UKRS and ARAP Resettlement Schemes are referred and signposted into appropriate support services and networks.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
A full driving license is essential, as a lot of the work involves visiting clients in locations across the county. The work also may involve taking clients to appointments, and collecting/delivering large or bulky items.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To develop and deliver comprehensive support plans for families who are newly arrived and throughout their first years in the UK. This includes reviewing these at regular intervals to ensure they continue to fully meet the needs of all family members.
To be responsible for managing the full support needs of caseload families including helping them to apply for benefits and learn to manage their finances; organising and ensuring attendance at ESOL classes; facilitating access to medical services including initial health assessments and follow ups; applying for schools and ensuring children are supported to settle in; encouraging attendance at community groups and with other practical arrangements as needed on a bespoke basis.
To support individuals and families with complex physical and psychological vulnerabilities in order that they are able to link with the help that they need to overcome these as fully as possible.
To record, monitor and evaluate casework practice and maintain confidential records for each family using in-house data recording systems.
To manage the transition of allocated families from intensive support to independence by empowering families to understand the systems and develop the skills required to live well in the UK.
To provide support and advice in a manner which understands the core elements of the refugee journey, the impact of trauma and principles for effective recovery.
To support and assist families to seek and secure meaningful and gainful employment to mitigate benefit cap restrictions; to include the development of CV’s and skills audits.
To build and maintain collaborative relationship with partner agencies and community services to provide effective support for families. This will include Benefits, Housing, English Learning, Healthcare and Social Care providers as well as others as needed.
To help other agencies understand the needs of the families of this programme and to help to avoid misunderstandings between parties due to cultural and language differences.
To connect families with meaningful engagement opportunities to enable them to build community connections and networks, develop confidence and learn new skills to improve their well-being.
To manage workload effectively using flexibility and adaptability, to ensure a good balance between competing priorities such as urgent client issues, pro-active casework support, medium to long term plans and other project work. This will include providing regular updates on all areas of work to the UKRS/ARAP Resettlement Team Leaders.
Professional Development
Keep up to date with legislation, policies and procedures and undertake appropriate training particularly with migration.
Undertake cultural awareness training where appropriate and understanding of UK processes in order to assist the new families as they settle.

Drive is an innovative national project that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children, by holding high-risk perpetrators to account. The project combines case management of perpetrators with a co-ordinated multi-agency response.
The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together they have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

This role is based at Kendal Police Station, West Morland & Furness, Cumbria, and involves regular travel. We are seeking experienced professionals from domestic abuse, offender rehabilitation, or mental health backgrounds who bring strong case management expertise and a passion for behaviour change. This role involves delivering one-to-one psychosocial interventions with high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse, aiming to reduce long-term risk to current and future victims/survivors, and children.
