Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As a Recovery Worker, the person would be managing a caseload of clients who need early intervention or preventative support with their mental health. They would deliver group activities and one-to-one sessions, co-produce recovery plans, and empower service users to engage with professionals across the community such as mental health teams, housing providers, and social services. The role also involves monitoring wellbeing and safety, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring referrals and reviews are timely. Day-to-day, the Recovery Worker contributes to a supportive team environment, working flexibly to meet service needs and contractual obligations while promoting recovery-focused approaches.

You will be working between the hours of 3.30pm - 11.30pm - including weekends and bank holidays

About the role

This role is based in Pontypool Police Station, Pontypool, it is offered on a hybrid working basis and there is a requirement for travel throughout the area.

As a Caseworker- Children and Uong People you will be:

• Managing a caseload of Victims of Crime with the highest level of need, both directly, through in-depth, 1:1 support, and indirectly, by working other service providers. Undertaking face to face support, case-tracking and management.

We are looking for someone who understands pregnancy, birth preparation, early parenthood and the emotional realities of becoming a parent.

You may have worked as a midwife, maternity support worker, antenatal educator, early year’s practitioner, family support worker, health-related practitioner, or in another relevant role supporting families during pregnancy and the early years.

You will bring:

• Experience or strong knowledge of antenatal support, pregnancy and early parenthood
• Confidence delivering group sessions or antenatal education
• Good understanding of early attachment, infant development and postnatal adjustment
• Awareness of perinatal mental health and the impact of trauma, stress and isolation
• Experience supporting families during pregnancy, birth preparation or early parenthood

We are now seeking a passionate and person-centred Navigator to join our team. This is a role for someone who believes in potential, not limitations – someone who can walk alongside clients with empathy and determination, empowering them to take ownership of their employment journey.

As a Navigator, you will support veterans furthest from employment to engage in meaningful activity and take gradual steps towards work. This non-clinical role focuses on helping veterans with mental or physical health challenges overcome barriers affecting their lives, improve wellbeing and reduce social isolation.

Clients of the service may present with issues around housing, accessing relevant health care services, substance misuse, education and training, financial concerns, and benefits, amongst others. Using coaching, mentoring and strengths-based approaches, you will help individuals identify their goals, build resilience and move confidently towards lasting employment outcomes.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will develop strong partnerships with regional organisations to generate referrals and address wider barriers such as mental health, housing or addiction, and share best practice with your colleagues in the team.

With a strong understanding of local labour markets and safeguarding practices, you’ll maintain high-quality case records, contribute to continuous improvement, and actively participate in team development. Founded in 2022, the Warm Welcome Campaign wants everyone in the UK to find a place of belonging and reconnection at a Warm Welcome Space near their home. We have a bold ambition to enable a more deeply connected society where we all have free access to welcoming community spaces. 

We resource, connect and champion a network of over 6,300 Warm Welcome Spaces and bring together a growing coalition of local, regional, and national partners representing the worlds of charity, faith, business, government, and philanthropy. By working together, we can unlock the power of community spaces made by and for everyone, creating a thriving network of hope and reconnection fueled by human warmth. 

We’re working hard to reach everyone with the message that a Warm Welcome is waiting for them just around the corner, all through the year.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a purposeful and proactive individual to work within a small (but growing), friendly and dynamic team in a varied role.

We are expanding our programmes and partnership team and so we are looking for a Warm Welcome Space Support Coordinator (based in the East Midlands).

To support the range and depth of opportunities we can offer to Warm Welcome Spaces, we are looking for a Spaces Support Coordinator to work primarily on supporting our Champions programme, as well as other exciting programme opportunities, to ensure they are as successful as possible in delivering impact for Spaces by meeting their targets. 

We’re looking for someone who thrives on the variety of connecting with a huge range of people and who is organised and systematic while at the same time has room for creativity, learning and innovation. You will need to enjoy working proactively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, and have a logical, systematic approach, as well as excellent communication and IT skills. 

Our team works remotely, but there are also opportunities to co-work (depending on location). You’ll be encouraged and supported to grow and develop your skills and expertise within this role

Warm Welcome Responsibilities

Working closely with the Warm Welcome Spaces Support Manager and wider team your primary responsibility will be to provide Project Coordination related to projects that are designed to support Warm Welcome Spaces, taking ownership of specific projects and tasks as required, including;

Project Coordination:

• Owns and manages parts of a project and ensures successful delivery - for example within the Warm Welcome Champions Programme or Partnership volunteering opportunities to benefit Spaces. This will include organising specific events as part of wider projects

• Develops project plans and timelines and maintains updates and progress

• Communicates clearly about a project and ensures the project is keeping to the planned timeline and outcomes, identifying any delivery challenges quickly

• Understands key responsibilities and can clearly articulate role within projects

• Responding to and fielding enquiries related to projects as appropriate

• Taking meeting minutes and chairing meetings when needed

• Collecting and entering data for various spreadsheets and documents efficiently

• Maintaining and updating information on our CRM tool

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our operations team, someone with a strong financial background with excellent attention to detail, a flexible attitude, an ability to work effectively under their own initiative and as part of a small team, together with excellent organisation and administrative skills.

Effective financial control is central to our strategy and operating model. The finance officer plays an essential role in maintaining control over our finances and operations. You will process and monitor financial transactions, liaise with our payroll bureau regarding staff payroll and pensions and support the Head of finance. You will be experienced in using Dynamics 365 Business Central as an accounting system.

This is a part-time role for two days a week (0.4FTE), with flexibility about when the hours are worked. It's a hybrid role, working from home and from our office. You will report to our Head of finance. You will also work with all staff on financial matters including personal and credit card expenses, central and project income and expenditure, and processing of payroll by liaising with our external bureau.

This role is based in our London office, involves addressing public and customer queries, proactively contacting stakeholders for query management and service updates, and escalating issues to the Public Support and Registrations Manager.
