You will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-channel fundraising activity, including appeals, regular giving, lottery and legacy campaigns, helping to secure sustainable income growth and engagement for Tŷ Hafan.
Working closely with colleagues across the charity, you will use insight, analysis and creativity to deliver excellent supporter experiences and maximise campaign performance. You'll also provide leadership to a small team, manage external suppliers and agencies, and help shape the future development of individual giving and legacy fundraising at Tŷ Hafan.

About you:
You are an experienced direct marketing, fundraising or supporter engagement professional with a strong track record of delivering successful campaigns that generate income and build lasting supporter relationships. You understand how to combine data, insight and creativity to develop compelling fundraising activity across a range of channels, and you are motivated by achieving meaningful results that make a difference.
You are a confident and proactive project manager who can balance multiple priorities, manage budgets and suppliers, and keep complex campaigns on track. You are experienced at analysing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and using evidence to inform future decisions, communicating clearly and effectively with a wide range of audiences.
Ultimately, you are passionate about delivering outstanding supporter experiences that can help Tŷ Hafan provide vital care and support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families across Wales.
Our employee benefits:
Ty Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family should have to live it on their own. Sadly, we know that thousands of families in Wales are struggling alone through the fear, exhaustion and uncertainty that comes with caring for a child whose life will be short. We believe that no family should have to live this on their own and we are determined to walk alongside every family through life, death and beyond.
At Tŷ Hafan we are experts at caring for children with life-shortening conditions and our services support families in our hospice, in community settings, local hospitals and in families’ homes. We understand that the needs of each child and their family are unique and we know that caring for a child with a life-shortening condition is often extremely demanding. Our aim is to make sure that no one doing this is alone. Our colleagues, volunteers and supporters are crucial in the delivery of our ambition – we know that everyone plays a huge part in making sure that no family faces their child’s short life alone.
Our Vision: A Wales where every child with a life-shortening condition lives a fulfilling life, supported with the compassion and specialist care they and their family need.
Our Purpose: No family should have to face the unimaginable loss of their child alone. With children and families at the heart of all we do, we provide free care and support in our hospice and in the community, offering a lifeline throughout the child’s short life, at end of life, through bereavement and beyond.
Our Values: At Tŷ Hafan we make a difference by living our values: Demonstrating Compassion, Providing Excellent Service, Working Together and Taking Ownership.

Community Voice isn’t a strand of work for us; it’s what all our work is built from.
We’re recruiting a Community Voice Officer to strengthen that work.
At Together Active, we work across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to make it easier for people to be active in ways that work for their lives. But we’re also trying to change how systems behave; how decisions get made, who shapes them, and what counts as evidence.
This role is about embedding lived experience into the way we think, decide and act, as something that influences direction from the start, not as consultation at the end of a process.
You’ll spend time listening directly to communities, to partners, to the spaces where people feel overlooked or misunderstood. You’ll notice where assumptions don’t match reality. You’ll test ideas. You’ll bring insight back into the organisation and into partnerships, and you’ll be prepared to stand by it.
We exist to design out inactivity across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Children and Families Worker to play a pivotal role in our Domestic Abuse Service in Tower Hamlets.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The role focuses on building positive and supportive relationships with women and their children, empowering them to work towards their goals through a strengths-based approach. This includes creating, implementing, and reviewing personalised support plans in collaboration with service users and external agencies, while also advocating on their behalf when needed. We strongly encourage applications from individuals with lived experience and those from marginalised or underrepresented communities.
This is a part-time role, offering flexibility that may suit individuals with caring responsibilities or other commitments. We welcome applications from those seeking a role that can fit around their life. That said, due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will be expected to schedule annual leave outside of key payroll processing periods, to ensure continuity and accuracy in payroll delivery.
About us
Advance is an award-winning and innovative women-only organisation, established in 1998, providing emotional and practical support to women and girls survivors of domestic abuse and supporting women with short-term sentences to reduce offending. We believe in empowering women and girls to lead safe, non-violent, equal lives so that they can flourish and contribute to the community.
We are a community-based organisation who lead in best practice approaches to supporting women in their local community. We achieve this by being available to meet and support women in local settings and at our women’s centres, and by working in close partnership with other agencies.
Our values are to listen and support, to empower and respect, collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
About the role:
Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for precision and people?
We are seeking a Payroll Officer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring every payslip is accurate and delivered on time. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, working closely with our external payroll provider to ensure the accurate and timely payment of all employees each month.
You will process monthly payroll, including manual calculations for overtime, variable hours, complex work patterns, and compressed hours, while ensuring correct application of cost codes for payroll expenditure. The role involves administering statutory and company payments such as sick pay, maternity pay, and other relevant entitlements, as well as processing adjustments for new starters, leavers, promotions, and contract variations.
You will also play an important part in supporting the procurement and implementation of a new payroll provider and software, ensuring compliance with all pay-related legislation, HMRC regulations, and internal policies. The position includes managing pension scheme administration—covering auto-enrolment, contributions, and opt-out processes—and collaborating closely with both the People and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee data and ensure payroll costs are correctly recorded and reported.
Additionally, you will produce monthly payroll reports, assist with financial and audit requirements, and respond to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally. This is a varied role that also offers opportunities to contribute to ad hoc tasks and reporting projects as required by the business.
About You:
To be successful as the Payroll Officer you will need to demonstrate proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a medium to large organisation, along with a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements. You should possess excellent numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data, perform accurate calculations, and apply sound financial understanding relevant to the position. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
It would be advantageous to have experience managing complex pay calculations such as compressed hours, overtime, and varying pay structures, as well as familiarity with pensions administration and HMRC reporting. Strong organisational and time management skills, together with proficiency in IT - particularly Excel - and experience using FMP or Staffology payroll software, would also be highly desirable.
How to apply:
Please submit your up-to-date CV with a supporting statement. Please note that only applications made via the job advert on the Advance careers page, and those that include a cover letter, will be considered.
*Advance reserves the right to close the advert early, or on the appointment of a candidate

The role
We’re seeking an Engagement Officer to join our inspirational Campaigns, Health Improvement and Policy team.
You will play a crucial role in building and delivering our local engagement and influencing activity in local Health systems such as Cancer Alliances to support improvements in the diagnosis, treatment and care of pancreatic cancer.

About You
If this sounds like you – we’d love to hear from you!
About working for us
This is a fast-paced organisation that is committed to making a difference.
Being a part of our team is being part of a thriving, positive, dynamic, successful, and welcoming community that is making an impact. We will support you and develop you should you wish this, and you get the opportunity to be involved in activities outside the scope of your immediate role. We care about your health and well-being and your work-life balance, and you will feel that your contribution is valued and matters.
About us
We are Pancreatic Cancer UK. We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease.
Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So we do more.
We bring more break throughs through research, more change through campaigning and more support through our expert nurses.
We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
Because people with pancreatic cancer need more than hope.
Underpinning this vision are our three values:
We cannot achieve our vision without employing people who are committed to our vision, strategy, and values.
At Pancreatic Cancer UK (PCUK) our ambition is to create an inclusive working environment that reflects the communities and audiences that we engage with and where everyone can be their true selves, where they feel respected, championed, heard, and supported. We want our workforce to achieve their potential, understand their contribution and feel proud of their impact by creating a culture and organisation that is genuinely inclusive by advancing equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging through our policies and practices.
We believe diversity drives great outcomes by encouraging the different points of view that come from a diverse workforce. We want to hear from and engage with people whose experience of dealing with this disease may be very different depending on their individual circumstances and background. We can think of no better way to do this than by making sure this role fully represents our intent; therefore, we are especially keen to consider applications from suitable applicants who consider themselves to be in areas that appear underrepresented within the charity sector.
Safeguarding
PCUK is committed to safe and fair recruitment processes that safeguard and protect those we work with, support and serve. We make sure all our staff are selected, vetted (DBS/Criminal record checks where appropriate), trained, and supervised fairly and to a high standard so that they can provide safe, effective and compassionate care. Where we work with volunteers, we extend the same support in order to ensure that they are working within our ethos and standards.
Location
Can either be home based or under a hybrid model where you are based in our London office and can work from home on occasion – options of the type of contract can be discussed at the point of offer / if you have questions before applying please get in touch.
You will need to be living in the geographic area with easy access to East and South of England. There is also some travel which will be required across this geographic area and to our office meetings in London.
How to apply
No agencies/sales call please – as a charity we work hard to keep our costs down and therefore will not be engaging agencies to support this recruitment.
