You will serve as Designated Safeguarding Lead, working closely with external support agencies to protect young people’s welfare, ensuring that the centre and all planned activities remain safe, compliant and accessible. Your role will also involve identifying and securing income through grant applications and fundraising initiatives, including driving revenue stream from the centre itself. This is a crucial role within the organisation and is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to harness their significant youthwork experience in a managerial role.

To apply for this exciting role, you will have demonstrable experience in youthwork, social care or education, with a working knowledge of SEND frameworks and inclusive practice. You will have a firm understanding of safeguarding legislation, and procedures for children and young people.  You will have strong people management skills, with demonstrable experience of scheduling staff/volunteers, and will ideally have a track record of fundraising or grant applications. Overall, you will be a dedicated, dynamic youthwork professional, passionate about delivering high quality services for a variety of young people.
