The Role
The role of Programme Manager is to design and deliver an engagement programme that develops and sustains meaningful, long-lasting relationships with our alumni community. Working closely with the Head of Alumni Relations, the Programme Manager will create new and innovative ways to build relationships and actively engage alumni, working towards three overarching goals: developing advocates, volunteers, and donors.

The Programme Manager is a pivotal member of the Alumni Relations team, responsible for shaping and delivering an outstanding engagement experience for our alumni. Central to the role is stewardship of Connect, our dedicated one-stop platform for alumni, which provides access to industry insights, news, opportunities, lifelong learning, volunteering pathways, and a powerful professional network.

This is an outward-facing role requiring exceptional relationship-building skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects at pace. The ideal candidate will be a confident and engaging communicator, with a passion for community building, driving impact, and delivering a best-in-class alumni experience.

SEO London Alumni programme

SEO has a long and proud history, with our first alumni cohort graduating in 2001, meaning we have reached our 25-year milestone. Through access to short courses and continued professional development opportunities, SEO Connect serves as a central hub and portal to all things SEO alumni—supporting lifelong learning, collaboration, and career progression.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Connect

• Serve as the primary lead for Connect, ensuring it remains a dynamic, engaging, and informative platform for all alumni.
• Curate content that highlights industry news, alumni achievements, events, opportunities, and professional development resources.
• Work collaboratively with the Alumni Relations team to enhance platform functionality, user experience, and engagement.
• Lead the development of an engagement programme for SEO Connect members, fostering long-lasting, impactful relationships with diverse graduate talent.
• Create and maintain a Connect Content calendar ensuring that the platform is fresh and innovative with daily updates
• Engage with the network on Connect, encourage two way comms and lead members to take other forms of action- whether this be Volunteering, Donations or Advocacy.
• Create a compelling reason for members to join the platform.
• Design and implement new strategies to support Affinity Groups and new business development on Connect.
• Maintain the Connect member database within the CRM and ensure accurate tracking of interactions, development needs, and progression.
• Create innovative content and communication approaches to attract and retain members
• Provide monthly engagement insights to monitor performance and influence future planning.

Lifelong Learning

• Develop a suite of accessible, high-value materials that support lifelong learning and continued professional development for alumni and Connect members.

• Collaborate with Alumni Relations colleagues to build shared events, resources, and learning opportunities.
• Ensure all relevant learning materials are integrated into Connect and promoted effectively across communications channels.

Alumni Volunteering

• In partnership with the Head of Alumni Relations, co-create a compelling volunteering programme that enables alumni to give back, grow their skills, and strengthen their connection to our community.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive volunteering database within the CRM, ensuring accurate tracking, monitoring, and stewardship of all volunteers.
• Develop innovative communication strategies to attract alumni volunteers and match them to meaningful roles.
• Create and deliver an alumni volunteer engagement plan—such as newsletters, spotlight features, or impact reports—to help volunteers understand and celebrate the difference they make.
• Keep all volunteer roles and progress actively updated in the CRM and provide monthly insights on volunteering engagement and recruitment performance.

Communication

• Actively contribute to editorial meetings and alumni communications planning.
• Create engaging content for platforms including newsletters, social media, and the alumni website.
• Lead on all communications specifically for the Connect community, ensuring messages are timely, relevant, and impactful.
• Maintain the back-end newsletter hosting on Connect

Events

• Support the Head of Alumni Relations in delivering a calendar of monthly alumni and Connect events.
• Assist with event promotion, logistics, and on-the-day representation of the Alumni Relations team.

Data & CRM

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data for all Connect members and volunteers in the CRM, ensuring best practice in data hygiene and stewardship.
• Highlight any data issues or risks and propose solutions proactively.
• Ensure GDPR compliance at all times

Skills and experience

• Proven experience in programme management, community engagement, alumni relations, talent development, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

This exciting CRM Officer role will support the data team with data imports, data selections and processing of income.

The Foundation has just started using a new CRM after undergoing a CRM migration from Raiser’s Edge, a very exciting time to be joining the Foundation! This role, alongside with other members of the CRM team, will liaise with the CRM Project Teams to support and ensure the successful outcome of the project and get us up to BAU.

What does the role involve?

• Manage data processes, imports and exports of all fundraising data including direct debits, new donors, email signups etc. in accordance with agreed protocols and in agreement with CRM Manager.
• Ensure that the use of the Fundraising database and the capture of all data from supporters or prospects conforms to data protection guidelines including GDPR relating to supporter preferences and consent.
• Support training for colleagues using the new CRM (Beacon) and help ensure all members are trained and kept up to date on new features and enhancements as they require to do their job effectively.
• Support the reconciliation of the bank statement with Beacon and ensure the Finance team know where to find information to enable accurate coding for management accounts.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?​

• Demonstrable relevant experience working in Fundraising, or a Charity database team role using Raiser’s Edge or any database similar, with experience of CRMs in general.
• Evidenced experience of managing high volumes of personal data using a large and complex supporter/CRM database.
• Evidenced ability to think analytically and deliver the most effective and accurate solutions for data capture, manipulation and reporting.

Purpose of the role

To deliver the Day One Casework bedside model to patients, or those closest to them, impacted by serious or multiple injuries which could result in life changing consequences, such as disability or death, within James Cook University Hospital, providing support on some of the wards (such as rehabilitation), on-site clinics and other settings (e.g. rehabilitation centres). 

Have a visible physical presence within the Trust, becoming embedded into clinical teams focussing on major trauma pathways, facilitating outpatient and in-person legal clinics.

Key Responsibilites

The post holder’s primary duties and responsibilities are as follows: 

• Work closely, and in partnership, with NHS clinical staff and relevant community and voluntary sector organisations, to address the needs of patients, and those closest to them, affected by serious and life-changing injury. 

• Operate a case management approach to individuals, assessing and identifying needs, putting support in place including signposting, making referrals and direct support. 

• Provide consistency in assessment of all patients and their loved ones, irrespective of injury cause, age, status, giving access to the earliest possible specialist legal advice which supports rehabilitation and NHS cost recovery. 

• Maintain detailed case records, including accurate records of activity and intervention, using Day One’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, capturing and storing data in line with Day One policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. 

• Contributing towards report writing through the writing case studies and narrative to support data collection. 

• Implement processes and procedures to collect patient and family feedback and contribute to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of Day One services through providing relevant information, case studies and reports. 

• Deliver awareness raising presentations to clinical colleagues and departments. 

• Organise and facilitate outpatient and in person legal clinic drop-in sessions. 

• Build awareness of the role and charity’s purpose through building strong and effective relationships across the regional major trauma network, ensuring those who need it have access to Day One support. 

• Work closely with local authority, statutory and voluntary organisations to provide patient and family support and advocacy. 

• Help establish other support mechanisms once a person is no longer within the hospital setting, supporting the patient discharge process in conjunction with leadership from NHS staff.

• Work closely in partnership with our Peer Support Service, focussed on promoting awareness and uptake within the region. 

• Work closely with the wider team on performance, quality, safety and effectiveness of all services, ensuring appropriate safeguarding policies are followed. 

• Work closely with our Fundraising and Communications team, supporting national activity, as well as regional initiatives to raise awareness and fundraise. 

• Be prepared to travel across the region and, on occasion, to other sites and national meetings as required. 

• Willingness to undertake continuous development and training for the role, including mandatory Day One and NHS Trust specific training. 

• Participate in external clinical supervision and monthly caseworker reflective practice to sessions to effectively explore and uphold professional boundaries within a safe, structure and supportive environment.

To work closely with those impacted by serious and life-changing injury, taking referrals and carrying out initial assessments of need, expertly navigating, signposting and putting services in place in the immediate aftermath of major trauma, including talking about and facilitating timely access to legal support to aid rehabilitation.

To establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders to promote Day One and address the needs of those affected by serious and life-changing injury. 

To work as part of the wider Day One Service’s team and organisation, taking responsibility for own record keeping and data collection in line with regulatory requirements.

We are recruiting a Van Peer Coordinator to support our Hepatitis C peer project in the Oxford & Thames Valley area. This role involves driving a van across the region and working with people affected by substance use and hepatitis C. 

Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment. 

About you

About the role

The Senior Legacy Manager will lead the development and delivery of London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s legacy programme, ensuring legacy giving is embedded across fundraising and marketing activity and is front of mind across the organisation.

This role is responsible for managing our legacy marketing programme, working closely with the marketing team to deliver compelling, sensitive and effective activity. The postholder will also oversee our outsourced legacy administration partner, ensuring legacy gifts are processed efficiently, compliantly and in line with best practice, through regular performance monitoring and review.

Working across the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate, the Senior Legacy Manager will champion legacies as a vital form of support, collaborating closely with all teams in the directorate. This will include working with the major donor team to identify and develop high-value legacy opportunities and supporting the community engagement team to integrate in-memory and legacy messaging into the community talks programme and engagement activity within the community.

The role also plays a key part in connecting our legacy and in-memory programmes, working with the community engagement team and the Deputy Director to develop a joined up in-memory strategy that ensures a coherent and compassionate supporter experience.

About the person

You’ll be an experienced and confident legacy fundraising professional with a passion for building long-term impact. You’ll be a strong collaborator who can influence across teams and seniority levels, and a persuasive advocate for the importance of legacy giving. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands on delivery, ensuring legacy activity is well planned, insight led and supporter centred. Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:

Prepare compelling responses to grant applications, support the Business Development Director and wider leadership team with responses to complex tenders and high-value funding applications.

This exciting role in our award-winning External Affairs department will work across policy and public affairs work in England. You will fight for the hospice sector and people who need their support, helping us to create a country where no one misses out on the care they need at the end of their lives.

This is a significant time for hospice and end of life care. 

Hospices across the UK are in the worst financial situation they have faced for 20 years. The funding crisis means hospices are cutting services and making redundancies. 

Our campaigning efforts have recently led to £125m in short term funding for the hospice sector and a commitment to a Modern Service Framework for palliative care and end of life care. As well as a spotlight on hospices in the 10 year health plan and unprecedented parliamentary scrutiny of the way hospices are funded. 

The momentum around palliative care and hospices mean there is no shortage of opportunities to influence the policy and political agenda.

We have strong influence in Parliament and have built significant interest in hospice care among policymakers. We are an important voice in the conversation around Assisted Dying, which will have a significant impact on palliative and end of life care. 

With this momentum and opportunity, we are looking for a talented and committed Policy and Public Affairs Manager to help us shape the future of palliative and end of life care. 

We are looking for a proactive and driven policy and public affairs professional. You will be curious about how best to improve people’s experiences of death, dying and bereavement and strengthen the contribution of the hospice sector to this. 

You will have excellent influencing and communication skills and sharp instinctsthat enable you to quickly understand and analyse the impact of external developments. As well as a collaborative mindset and commitment to building coalitions to maximise our impact. 

You will provide leadership but must also be willing to pitch in at all levels to get things done. Excellent project management skills will mean you can identify where our resource is best spent and how to delegate tasks.

Job Description

As Payroll Manager, you will lead the delivery of an accurate, compliant and customer-focused payroll service.

Based in Brasted with hybrid working, you will take end-to-end responsibility for payroll and pensions, manage the iTrent system, and work closely with People, Finance and the wider organisation. You will provide clear payroll advice, support People Coordinators, and help improve and automate payroll processes.

This role suits someone with strong payroll expertise who is comfortable working independently, managing priorities and improving ways of working.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility for the organisation’s payroll and pension schemes
• Ensuring accurate and timely salary payments
• Maintaining compliance with tax law and relevant regulations
• Managing competing priorities and working to tight deadlines
• Providing an excellent customer-focused service to internal and external stakeholders
• Resolving payroll queries effectively and at first point of contact where possible

About You

We are looking for someone who brings strong payroll knowledge alongside a proactive and collaborative approach.

You will have:

• Full membership, or equivalent, of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals with a commitment to continuous learning
• A degree or relevant professional qualification
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, legislation and procedures
• Experience using payroll systems, ideally iTrent or People First
• Knowledge of HMRC guidance and pension legislation
• Experience of payroll system setup or implementation
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work effectively under pressure

About the Role

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the Veterinary Department, ensuring that people, processes, and resources work seamlessly to support the delivery of high-quality clinical services to donkeys, mules and horses within our care.

Key responsibilities include:

· Acting as the point of contact with regards to staff, estates and facilities, fleet, security and budget

· Effectively leading a team.

· Working calmly under pressure and managing competing priorities.

You will also have excellent communication, report writing and interpersonal skills and excellent computer literacy skill including database utilisation, email, PowerPoint and Excel.
