We are currently looking for a Custody and Probation HAWk workers to be based in a Prison Establishment and Probation Delivery Unit (PDU) to support The Probation Services objective in reducing reoffending.
The fixed-term contracts (ending July 2027) we are recruiting to are based across the below:
- HMP Thameside & a London Probation Delivery Unit (PDU)
- HMP Isis & Bromley Probation Delivery Unit
- HMP Wormwood Scrubs & Kew Foot Road Probation Delivery Unit
In this role you will be assessing clients’ housing needs and take action to prevent homelessness by;
- Supporting clients to retain existing accommodation or to relinquish tenancies to avoid accruing rent arrears and debt.
- Supporting clients who will be homeless on release to access appropriate accommodation.
- Working alongside The Probation Service to achieve set interventions to prevent homelessness
- Working as part of a larger team based across 10 prisons and multiple probation offices
The post requires the successful candidate to be based in prison establishments & PDU’s 5 days per week (with one home working day each fortnight)
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- Some experience of working with ex-offenders and people who are homeless/at risk of becoming homeless
- The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team within the prison and probation environment and to maintain effective relationships with external agencies.
- The ability to work flexibly in a changing and often challenging environment
- The ability to work to agreed deadlines and targets.
- The ability to cope with clients with multiple needs, who may display challenging behavior.

About the role:
In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing our strategic financial capability objectives, which align with our charitable objects and goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategies to promote and broaden the use of the content from existing financial capability educational material to build income streams.

- Identify and develop opportunities to secure widen the reach of our financial capability content.
- Identify new markets, audiences and partnership opportunities and make evidence-based recommendations on where to focus our effort.
- Develop a suite of metrics for Financial Capability to measure success, to include both social and commercial impact
- Lead and support presentations to win commercial commitment from organisations and stakeholders.
- Play a key role in supporting UK policy development and implementation with regard to financial inclusion and capability - acting upon and responding to initiatives proposed by UK and international policy makers, legislative bodies, and regulatory authorities.

You will have:
- Worked in a senior executive role in financial capability, preferably at Head of or Director level.
- Knowledge of financial capability issues within the UK
- Excellent business development skills including commercial awareness, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management skills to oversee financial capability plans, and expertise in identifying and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

To thrive in this role, you'll need hands-on experience of facilitating groups or meetings and an understanding of what great facilitation looks like. Giving and receiving feedback, gathering data and other evidence to inform service development, and exercising reflective practice are all essential attributes.
You’ll also contribute to key projects that move SMART Recovery forward, adding your voice and insight to help shape what comes next. The role therefore requires project mangement skills as you will work on specific projects that develop our publications, training, communications and marketing. If you have a special interest and expertise in certain areas of our business such as social media and campaigns, training, volunteer management or copywriting we can develop this skill and interest as an enhancement to your role. Job description
We are looking for an Advice and Wellbeing Administrator to provide high quality administrative support to the Advice & Wellbeing team. This role will play a key part in the day-to-day operation of the Students' Union UCL Advice Service, including administering enquiry and appointment management processes, supporting the administration of our financial support funds, maintaining electronic case records and supervising student staff.
The role may also provide support to our expanding prevention and intervention programmes such as our Active Bystander Programme, including overseeing the enquiries, scheduling, and workshop administration.
The role is a full time and permanent contract. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 20/80 basis (80% working from the office). We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible, and job share basis wherever possible.

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Thames Valley Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

You will join the team during a period of positive change, as we introduce new systems and processes to enhance our service. In the role of Administrator you’ll work as part of a busy team, leading on payment reconciliation, Schedule of Rates (SOR) validation and general repairs and maintenance administration support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing property services related invoices and payments.
- Ensuring accurate contractor reconciliation against works completed, and resolving discrepancies.
- Using relevant IT systems and processes including our Asset Management System.
- Maintaining accurate repairs and financial data, producing reports, and identifying trends, risks, and areas for improvement.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Farringdon, London.
