About the Role
As the Deputy Team Leader - Witness Service (Court-Based), you will support the delivery of a high quality, safe, and consistent service for all witnesses attending court.
You will:
- Support daily case allocations to ensure witnesses receive timely needs and risk assessments, support, and referrals.
- Conduct case management system audits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality reporting.
- Collate and analyse performance data, contributing to KPI monitoring and quality assurance.
- Support rota planning to maintain appropriate resource coverage across the court cluster.

The Witness Service provides free, independent support to any witness giving evidence in criminal courts in England and Wales - both for the prosecution and the defence. Our trained staff and volunteers help people understand what to expect before, during and after a trial, and offer practical and emotional support every step of the way, so witnesses can give their best evidence. The Witness Service also supports bereaved family members, friends and family who are accompanying witnesses in court.

We are looking for a dedicated team to deliver person centred and bespoke trauma informed support to vulnerable women in Luton. This new service will provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for women facing sexual exploitation and substance dependency – a place they can truly call home. Through stable, person-centred care, you'll play a vital role in empowering women to rebuild their lives and embrace brighter futures.
In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. Our residents have experienced multiple forms of exclusion, such as historical/ongoing abuse, involvement in the criminal justice system, mental health challenges, drug and/or alcohol dependency and enduring high levels of violence and coercion. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins. Your role will focus on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
Responsibilities include:
- Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to resident needs
- Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
- Encourage residents to take part in activities and events both within the service and the community
- Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
- Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary

Empowering independence through trauma-informed solutions and dynamic partnerships that keep people out of prison, out of hospital and off the streets
The Arctic Initiative Lead will provide overall leadership for the development of an exciting grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, using this to test the opportunity for longer term Fauna & Flora engagement in this region. Working closely with relevant Directors, the role will deliver the Arctic Initiative in line with agreed outcomes and funding. This role will provide overall leadership for the planned scope of work and will help to drive its strategic evolution in line with a phased, adaptive approach over the lifetime of the grant, and inform decisions about any future engagement.
A central element of the project will be stewarding the development of a new platform to elevate Arctic community voices in global decision-making. The post-holder will play a critical role in ensuring this work contributes to a more people-centred narrative in international policy, finance, and conservation debates, and is shaped through a phased co-design process grounded in listening, trust-building and community-defined priorities, and will evolve as learning emerges. Given the scope and profile of the work, expertise from previous similar initiatives is highly desirable.
You will bring recognised expertise in Arctic political and governance contexts, with proven experience engaging credibly with both senior policy makers and community representatives. Comfortable representing Fauna & Flora at national and international levels, you will combine effective leadership with the ability to work effectively in an international NGO, including managing in a matrix-like structure. The role will also involve building and leading a small, high-performing team. You will have a leadership style that empowers others, values collaboration and learning, excellent people-management skills, and the ability to deliver complex work to a high standard against project aims, objectives and timelines.

upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP) combines delivery work (supporting our Associates) with exposure to a range of aspects of charity management.

Working as a Communications Officer for the Living Wage Foundation, reporting to the Media Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Media
-
Contribute to media strategies and plans that help to win public, business and political support for the Living Wage Foundation and its work

Write compelling press releases, blogs and opinion editorials to promote the Living Wage Foundation’s work

Support story gathering and storytelling development with workers, employers and others affected by low pay and insecure work, ensuring lived experience and employer voices are reflected effectively across media work and wider communications platforms

Build effective relationships with the media, colleagues and other stakeholders to find new ways to raise our profile

Monitor and evaluate media campaigns and reports

Maintain and regularly update communications resources, including press contact lists, internal databases and other media materials

Participate in the out of hours duty press (being on hand to very occasionally answer emails and phone calls in the evenings or weekends)
Social and digital media
-
Oversee our digital communications channels to raise awareness of the Living Wage and our wider accreditation schemes, champion responsible employers and grow our movement.

Help the team keep up to date with social media trends and opportunities.

Create, manage and schedule posts for our social media channels including, LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook and YouTube, tailoring the content to different channels and audiences.

Monitor our social media channels, replying to enquiries from the public and our networks of supporters and employers and flagging any potential issues to the wider team
Content creation
-
Working with the communication team, design and implement engaging digital engagement campaigns for Living Wage Employers and supporters, and to support Living Wage Foundation campaigns.

Design communications collateral to increase engagement on social media, including creation and editing of short-form videos for our online channels and creation of social media graphics.

Improve our digital offering for our network of accredited Living Wage, Living Hours and Living Pension Employers, by creating resources and improving our communications support.

Liaise with the Living Wage and Citizens UK team to keep up-to-date with news to share with key stakeholders

Collate and summarise content to schedule newsletters and updates for our varied audiences.

Support in adoption of updated brand across our communications content and materials, supporting others to use brand and tone of voice guidelines.

Sourcing and creating original content for both the Living Wage Foundation and external websites, including creating blog posts, news, guidance and general pages.

Auditing and reviewing existing website content to ensure it is effective and up-to-date. Support on improvements and developments where necessary.
Network communications

Drafting email communications to support the experience of our network of accredited employers, including regular newsletters as well as automated email content for new accreditations.

Work closely with the Operations and Insight team to put in place the communications infrastructure to help our network of employers engage with us online, e.g. utilising our online dashboard for accredited members and creating new resources.
General

Administrate and facilitate communications team meetings.

Communications support for key events and campaign moments including the annual Champion Awards and Living Wage Week

Monitor communications outputs, analyse performance data and evaluate impact to support learning and improvement across our communications work
