About the Role

The Level Up Academy Coordinator delivers our accredited two-day Young Carer Champion Academy to education professionals, supporting schools to strengthen identification and support for young carers.

Working closely with Headteachers, SENCOs, DSLs, pastoral leads and inclusion teams, you will help schools embed effective systems and whole-school approaches that improve outcomes for vulnerable pupils.

As part of a paid, accredited CPD offer, the role also includes generating interest in the programme and converting engagement into sustainable school partnerships. This is not purely a delivery role and it requires confidence influencing school leaders and articulating the value and impact of professional training.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality CPD training to education professionals
• Support schools to implement effective identification and safeguarding-informed support systems
• Build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, SENCOs and pastoral teams
• Develop and manage a local pipeline of partner schools
• Convert interest and enquiries into booked training
• Monitor delivery, engagement and impact using CRM and digital systems

What We’re Looking For: We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Experience working in or alongside schools, colleges or education services
• Confidence delivering workshops, CPD or professional training to adults
• Experience influencing practice within education settings
• Strong relationship-building skills with school leaders or external partners
• Confidence articulating the value of a service, programme or training offer
• Strong organisational and digital skills (Microsoft 365, CRM or similar systems)

The Museums Association (MA) is seeking a part time Policy Officer to play a leading role in developing our policy and campaigns work.

In this exciting role you will have the opportunity to deliver admin support for our campaigns and policy, including Museums Change Lives, Museums and Climate Justice, Decolonising Museums, and anti-racism. YMCA Community Counselling Dialogue offer free short-term face to face, group and online therapy for young people aged 11 - 18 who live or have a GP in West Sussex. We offer a range of talking therapies, group sessions for young people who are struggling with their mental health. We see young people in different locations in the community such as youth centres, children and family centres and our own buildings. Our online counselling takes place over an electronic therapy platform.

We are recruiting for a qualified counsellor to join our team of therapists as a Community Counsellor based in Littlehampton. You will be passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

Your contracted base will be our main office in central Hove, and you will deliver services in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

Key responsibilities

• Offer assessments to children and young people within the Tier 2 Counselling Service
• Manage a caseload of children and young people, delivering counselling within the West Sussex Dialogue service model
• Work with the project administrator and project manager to ensure high quality delivery of service
• Work systemically, e.g. liaise with and include parent/carers, educators, health professionals when appropriate and as agreed by the client
• Manage the tight time boundaries of the role and the often complex and varied workload

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience

• Experience of working as a Counsellor post-qualified at diploma, graduate or post graduate level or equivalent, including working with risk issues
• You will have a BACP Membership; BACP Registered or Accredited. Or other professional body e.g. HCP
• You will also have a sound understanding of child protection and vulnerable adult safeguarding issues, policies, and procedures
• An in depth understanding of counselling theory and practice and working to short-term models

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire. This service will provide emergency accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. 

The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. This includes enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice.  A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.

The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will carry a caseload of survivors of domestic abuse to enable them to provide a more holistic and intensive support package. They will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis through to move on from the emergency accommodation. FSWs will work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

About the role

The Head of Advocacy and Influencing is a leadership role with significant responsibility for external analysis and positioning for CIUK - including through regular updates to the board Impact and Transformation Committee. The role is responsible for providing strategic direction for CIUK and CI’s advocacy and influencing and leading the team to deliver UK and globally facing advocacy campaigns. The role is responsible for ensuring high quality publications and managing sign off and profile risks as part of CIUK’s risk management strategy. The Head of Advocacy and Influencing will also act as a senior external spokesperson for the organization to the media, parliament and public events. As the manager and contract holder for the Centenary Action Group campaign and fundraising coordinator and a standing member on the Steering board of the Centenary Action Group, the role also manages CARE UK’s role as a convener and ally of the UK women’s rights movement in line with our global commitment to shift the power and localization.

The role covers four main areas of responsibility:

Strategic Leadership & Delivery

Play a key role in the delivery of CIUK’s new 4-year strategy. Lead cross-organisational teams to deliver high quality policy analysis, advocacy and campaign strategies to UK government, parliamentary and private sector targets. Work with communications to design and deliver integrated campaign plans.

External representation and relationship management

Build the visibility and reputation of CIUK by building and managing key external relationships in government, parliament, private sector and across the sector, including in coalitions and alliances. Provide strategic advice on political developments, external opportunities, and risks, ensuring timely and well-informed positioning, and prepare the CEO/SLT for high-level external engagements. Serve as a senior spokesperson for CIUK in political, media, and public forums. Work with the CARE confederation to develop advocacy lines and approaches.

Thought leadership and Policy Development

Provide strategic leadership of the Gates Foundation partnership, delivering against expectations and securing further funding from this and other donors. Ensure a rigorous evidence base for CIUK’s policy agenda, both by working with CIUK’s team of thematic experts, as well as commissioning and managing research projects where needed. Prepare and approve briefings, position papers, op-eds and other communications in support of CARE UK’s influencing goals. Oversee CIUK’s strategic role in Centenary Action, including representation on the Steering Group and overall coordination. 

Team and line management

Set and drive the advocacy and influencing team’s annual plans and contribution to the organisation’s strategic priorities. Be accountable to delivering on team KPIs and organisational KPIs that link to the team’s work, and for managing the team’s budget. Play a key role in the leadership of the Programme and Policy department. Provide strong line management to direct reports and demonstrate a strong personal commitment to CIUK’s equity, diversity and inclusion goals and feminist leadership principles.

We are looking for an experienced, values-driven and thoughtful Communications Manager to help shape and strengthen the3million’s public voice. The role focuses on sharing our work as widely and effectively as possible, through social media, supporter communications and news media. You will act as a spokesperson for the3million, write and develop communications materials, and help grow our supporters and donors base through lived-experience focused communications.

Key responsibilities

1. Communications strategy & leadership 

• Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of the communications strategy of the3million, working closely with the3million’s CEO, Head of Policy and Advocacy and Organising team to deliver timely strategic communications support
• Growing and safeguarding the3million’s brand identity, integrity and strategic positioning across all our external channels, networks and audiences
• Develop new initiatives to expand and improve the reach and engagement of the3million’s communications
• Regularly reviewing the effectiveness of campaigns and responding to opportunities that arise

• Support the3million’s sustainability through effective fundraising messages and campaigns

• Proactively pitch, develop and maintain relationships with relevant media stakeholders, developing our contacts list
• Support people with lived experience in working with journalists to have their stories heard

• Lead on crisis communications and rapid response messaging in reaction to political or media developments 

4. Campaign communications & messaging 

• Work closely with the policy and advocacy team to translate complex issues into compelling narratives

• Support with the development of published materials (in print and online) such as leaflets and reports. Lead on the visual design of published materials
• Support people with lived experience (including community leaders) to be effective spokespeople for the3million, delivering relevant communications training and support their leadership development (working closely with the Organising team)

5. General: 

• Maintain relationships with relevant funders of the3million’s communications activities, providing regular reports and updates 
• Represent the views of the3million at events, conferences and in the media

As our Canine Reproduction Specialist, you’ll work hand‑in‑hand with our Veterinary Surgeon to support successful, welfare‑focused breeding outcomes. Your insight and care will help maximise conception rates and litter sizes, while safeguarding the physical and emotional wellbeing of every breeding dog.

You’ll champion best‑practice reproductive care, influence high‑quality decision‑making, and help ensure that long‑term comfort, health and happiness remain at the heart of every breeding choice we make.

Based at our National Breeding Centre near Leamington Spa, you’ll work 35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm, Monday–Friday. You’ll also participate in a 1 in 4 weekend rota, ensuring continuous, outstanding care for our dogs.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out key reproductive duties, including cytology, progesterone testing and supervising matings, ensuring the highest standards of welfare and outcomes.
• Support clinical care for breeding dogs, applying your knowledge of canine anatomy, physiology and behaviour.
• Maintain accurate records, analyse reproductive data and contribute to continuous improvement across the breeding programme.
• Develop skills in ultrasound and reproductive techniques, including artificial insemination, under veterinary direction (full training provided).
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and external partners, representing the breeding programme professionally.

What You’ll Bring

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
• Significant experience working in a veterinary practice.
• At least one year’s experience in a scientific or laboratory setting, with the ability and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of canine anatomy and reproduction, gained through academic study and/or practical experience.
• Strong understanding of canine behaviour, temperament and reproductive health.

Job Purpose

The Director of Data Science, AI and Research leads our outstanding Data Insights Team which has expertise across data engineering, analytics, data science, machine learning, generative AI, and psychology, and works to provide insights which enhance our services and which we share with others in the sector, policy makers and politicians, service users and the general public.

The Director of Data Science, AI and Research works directly with the CEO and plays a central role in leading the strategy and development of the organisation, and is responsible for key external relationships across government, the mental health sector, funders, and researchers.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and leading MHI's long-term data insights strategy, including developing and managing external data insights partnerships with academic researchers (e.g., IGHI at Imperial College London), government (e.g., Department of Health and Social Care), and other stakeholders in the sector (e.g., CTL, and other mental health charities), and policy makers.
• Member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to development and delivery of organisational strategy, and acting as MHI spokesperson/representative where relevant.
• Leading many of MHI’s key external relationships, including those with key supporters and funders such as The Jensen and Lori Huang Family Foundation, Google, the Wellcome Trust, and AWS.
• Recruiting, retaining, and managing members of the Data Insights Team

About the role
The Chief Programmes and Communities Officer will lead the charity’s Programmes and Communities Division. This division oversees our work with pupils, university students and parents, so that we can support young people from less-advantaged backgrounds to access and thrive at competitive universities.
