Although we have recovered from the Covid 19 pandemic, the nation now faces the worst cost of living crisis since the 1950s, thanks to the Russian Ukraine war, and now the US Israel Iran one which have disrupted the global energy market. There is no denying that, in the UK, young people (YP) are being disproportionally affected. We are deeply concerned about the impact this crisis is having on the young people that we work with across the board.
The UK youth unemployment rate for 16-24-year-olds sits at a concerning 16.2%, an 11-year high. There are over 1 million young people not in education, employment or training (NEET). We know that high numbers of vacancies do not translate into opportunities for all young people, especially those from BAME background who already face discrimination in the labour market.
We are responding to this emerging issue, by working harder and smarter to support young people that we work with for whom the transition from formal education into employment is not automatic. We work to help this group have access to economic opportunities in these challenging times. We believe that our services bridge this gap and provide opportunities for young people to develop wider social, personal and self -management skills required for productive participation and integration into society. Job purpose: Provide a range of administration services to enable the Trust to operate its day-to-day activities, management and governance processes effectively.
Roles and responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the job are:
· Provide administrative support to the Programme Manager, Trustees and Youth Board
· Provide general administrative support across the Trust, including scheduling meetings, administering our Microsoft 365 system, helping to produce reports/ letters, managing emails, facilitating in-house communication, managing our records, research, and other general duties
· Assist implementation of the Trust’s charitable programmes e.g., by providing administration support to project teams and organising promotional activities.
· Manage enquiries to the Trust and respond to routine enquiries, ensuring that actions are followed up
· Proactively manage our website day-to-day and post to our social media, consulting where necessary. Produce leaflets, publicity and newsletters
· Support our organisation development plans by helping us research and implement any new policies, processes and best practice procedures required, and maintaining the database of evidence
· Suggest administrative improvements to support the smooth running of the charity and, when agreed, implement them
Key working relationships: The post holder will work with all the Trustees (but particularly the Trustee responsible for Communications), the Programmes Manager as well as the Trust’s finance service provider. The post holder will develop good working relationships with other stakeholders including our project delivery partners, members of the Youth Board and, in some cases, young people on or applying for our programmes.

For more than ten years, Cambridge Science Centre (CSC) has been sparking curiosity and a love of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in young people across the East of England.
Job Description
As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications activity. Working alongside the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be part of a small, ambitious team that delivers high-quality marketing and communications with creativity, pace and purpose. Your primary focus will be creating engaging content, managing our digital channels and delivering campaigns that increase footfall and raise the profile of Cambridge Science Centre.
This role requires an agile, proactive generalist who enjoys turning ideas into action, taking ownership of everything from social media and web updates to print production, paid promotions and promotional events. Whilst the Marketing & Communications Manager leads longer-term strategic priorities, you'll work together to build the infrastructure that underpins a high-performing function, including asset libraries, streamlined workflows and efficient processes.
Your work will be fundamental to helping more people discover and engage repeatedly with Cambridge Science Centre. Through an audience-focused, data-informed approach, you'll promote our visitor centres in Cambridge and Wisbech, increasing footfall while creating compelling content that inspires families, schools, funders and corporate partners.
Success in this role will depend on building strong relationships across the organisation and working collaboratively with managers, engagement teams and external freelancers to bring campaigns to life. Development opportunities will open in tandem with the Charity’s growth, with the potential to explore strategic planning, campaign development, media relations, and community outreach in the future.

Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Management & Content Delivery
● Plan, create and schedule organic content to drive engagement on social channels, primarily Meta and LinkedIn
● Set up and monitor paid digital and social advertising campaigns, tracking growth metrics
● Keep the WordPress website up to date by refreshing copy, uploading news, and optimising pages
● Coordinate, write, and distribute email newsletters tailored to families, schools and corporate partners

2. Campaign Execution & Production Coordination

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
● Experience: At least 2–3 years working in a marketing, communications, or digital content role with responsibility for advertising campaigns
● Copywriting: Excellent written communication skills, able to adapt tone across formats (website blogs, social media posts, emails) for diverse audiences
● Social Media: Hands-on experience managing social media channels with a focus on authentic, human-centric engagement
● Digital Tools: Experience running paid social media ads and executing segmented email marketing campaigns
● Platform literacy: Comfortable using WordPress (CMS) and basic design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
● Data & Analytics: Familiarity with Google Analytics or social media native insights to interpret campaign performance

The role of Digital Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of The Children’s Trust’s digital communications. Working closely with the Digital Manager and wider Marketing and Communications team, the postholder will help ensure our website, email marketing and other digital activity are engaging, accessible, user-focused and aligned with organisational priorities and brand guidelines.

Website management
- Support the day-to-day running of the charity’s websites, managing updates from across the organisation and ensuring continuous improvement and development of content, layout and structure.
- Support the Digital Manager to work with teams across the charity to ensure all website content is fresh, up-to-date and in line with our key messages, style and tone of voice.
- Support Digital Manager with ensuring websites are compliant, secure, accessible, user-friendly and aligned to brand, communications and organisational objectives.
- Produce content that complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 – Level AA) and help promote web accessibility throughout the Organisation.
- Build and maintain online forms, e.g. donations, event entries and data capture.
Campaigns and email marketing

About the Role
This is a role where you’ll really see the difference you make.
As Educational Partnerships Manager, you’ll work across Dorset and the South Coast of Hampshire, building partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups-particularly in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.
You’ll be right in the mix: planning events, delivering programmes, supporting volunteers and connecting with school staff to make sure young people have access to our inspiring enterprise and financial education experiences.
You’ll be a key driver of our Inspiring Futures programme-helping young people break down barriers and imagine bigger futures.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow relationships with schools, colleges, youth clubs and local communities.

- Recruit, train and support volunteers-making sure they feel valued and inspired.
- Work with your regional team to meet shared goals and celebrate local impact.
- Help secure local funding by supporting fundraising efforts and managing project deliverables.
- Support the planning of events, trade fairs and celebrations for young people.
- Keep accurate records, track impact, and make sure safeguarding is front and centre.
A few practical things
- This is a hands-on role-you’ll sometimes be lifting resources, setting up venues and travelling regularly (a car and full driving licence are essential).
- You’ll need to be happy occasionally working evenings or weekends during peak delivery times.
- Expect to be on your feet during some events or sessions-it’s all part of the fun!

We are seeking a gifted schools’ project officer for a key role within a busy team based in Dulwich SE21, Southwark. The work is varied and fulfilling.
You should be a graduate from a good university, enthusiastic and very well-organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently, manage priorities, work to deadlines, and take initiative. The project officer post involves presenting at school assemblies as outreach, working with students to help them prepare costed applications, handling draft applications by email, and accurate data collection and input. As project officer you will handle the whole process, from assemblies and schools’ work to the administration involved in getting roughly 800 students a year off doing exceptional things. You will need to deal efficiently and accurately with our administrative requirements, and have excellent PC skills – Word, Excel and Outlook. We would train you to deal with the work and our systems.
Salary is in line with experience, range £30k- £35k pro rata, depending on experience.
