Youth Impact Advert

Permanent with funding until 31st August 2027 with potential to extend depending on additional funding

35 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of the service and our commitment to providing consistent support to children and young people during term time, annual leave is generally encouraged during school holiday periods wherever operationally possible. This arrangement can offer greater flexibility for staff wishing to align leave with school holidays.

£29,855 per annum

Location: Torbay

About the role:You'll play a key part in our EOTAS Service, planning and delivering targeted group work, providing one to one support, and working closely with child and young person's support network, in addition to working in partnership with other organisations to develop bespoke packages for children and young people.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated project worker with the ability to support children and young people with their transition to adulthood, further education and employment, through working on their barriers and enhancing their independence skills, making a real impact in the lives of children and young people.

Key skills and experience:

The required skills and competencies for this role are:

-Ability to develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with children and young people

-Experience of working with young people who are underserved, marginalised, or disengaged from mainstream services and support systems

-Ability to educate, inform, coach and mentor children and young people

It would also be an advantage if you have any of the following skills and competencies:

-Experience in delivering outreach work

-Experience in working in a trauma informed practice

-First Aid trained
