LGBT Foundation is an impactful, vibrant charity with a wide portfolio of well-established services and rapidly developing new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans people.  The Fundraising & Marketing Team at LGBT Foundation is a small yet collaborative group of professionals. They are dedicated to advancing the visibility and impact of the UK’s leading health and wellbeing charity. The team is responsible for implementing wide-ranging fundraising, communication, and marketing strategies. By leveraging various channels such as email marketing, the organisation’s website, video, social media, OOH advertising and traditional media, the team strives to support the national visibility, brand awareness, impact storytelling and income generation of the charity by attracting, engaging and stewarding a growing supporter base.   LGBT Foundation’s Partnerships & Philanthropy Advisor will work with fundraising & marketing colleagues to deliver against strategic objectives and achieve in-year financial targets, significantly increasing income and support, specifically from corporates, individual giving (donations), legacies and fundraising events. In this role as a Partnerships & Philanthropy Advisor, corporate partnerships (attraction, engagement, and retention) will be a priority, ensuring members see the value in our offer.   

You will also work with the Director of Fundraising & Marketing to shape four individual giving campaigns a year and two legacy awareness campaigns a year. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to keep fundraising information on webpages and social channels active, ensuring regular promotion of charity challenges and shaping digital mobilisation efforts which will build the charity’s supporter base, attracting more new donors.   

You will support regular reporting on performance towards financial targets, working closely with colleagues to reconcile income, ensure Salesforce records and reports are up-to-date and that integrations support automated data flows.

The Acquisition & Retention Manager will lead and manage the multichannel donor acquisition portfolio/program within the Individual Giving function at Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital Charity.The Charity has been growing its supporter base over recent years and has an ambition to create a step change in our approach and significantly grow our 'Individual Giving' donors and supporters. 

Principle Responsibilities  

The Acquisition & Retention Manager will be responsible for creating and delivering a multi-channel acquisition Retention strategy that fully supports the goals and objectives of the wider Charity strategy.The post holder will develop, manage and grow the existing acquisition program via a range of Digital and Face to Face campaigns utilising third party agencies for Private Site, Door to Door and, telemarketing activities, as well as management of our own onsite Face to Face acquisition team.

The postholder will have substantial experience of working within or managing a successful fundraising acquisition team, with excellent working knowledge of sector practises and channels to ensure best use of budget, ensure a competitive cost per acquisition (CPA), while increasing loyalty, engagement and lifetime value (LTV) among existing supporters.

About the opportunity

As Treasury Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own our Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions, playing a vital role in our financial sustainability. You'll monitor our cash position, forecast cash flow across diverse income streams from online fundraising platforms to direct donations and community collections, and manage banking relationships to ensure we optimise our working capital and invest our reserves wisely.

This isn't a back-office role. Crisis Intervention Worker - Talking Spaces Service (Mental Health)

This is a key role in the Bereavement Support Services team. The team provides a wide range of services, including the Helpline, Online Community, memory making, and print materials. The aim of this post is to provide consistent, high-quality emotional support to bereaved families who seek support from Sands. The primary focus of this role is to work on the Sands Helpline as support officers, listening to callers and responding to emails. The helpline offers telephone and email support and is currently open from 10am-3pm from Monday to Friday; 6pm – 9pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; and has occasional extended opening for specific reasons. Bereavement Support Services Officers (BSSO) will be expected to cover all regular opening hours on a rota basis. Flexibility to accommodate other external commitments will be considered. Each shift will start 30 minutes before the helpline opens and end 30 minutes after the helpline closes. If colleagues start work when the Helpline is already open, they will be expected to use the first hours of their shift to settle in and organize their work before starting calls and email responses. The role will be split between work on the helpline and contributing to other strands of bereavement support work.

You will work closely with colleagues across the charity to ensure our media and public narrative supports scientific credibility, policy influence and public engagement at a critical moment for animal-free research.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

• demonstrable success in securing high-impact media coverage across national, broadcast and digital channels
• experience building trusted relationships with journalists, influencers and senior stakeholders
• strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific or policy issues into compelling stories
• confidence operating in high-profile, fast-moving or sensitive media environments
• a strategic mindset with the ability to deliver tactically under pressure
• a deep commitment to animal protection, scientific integrity and the mission of Animal Free Research UK

A background in science or biomedical research is welcomed but not essential if you can demonstrate the ability to engage credibly with complex evidence and policy.

The Community Fundraising Team is an integral part of the Charity Fundraising Portfolio, by supporting a diverse range of inspiring supporter led fundraising activities. It is an exciting time to join the Team, as we plan for 25/26.

Covering Yorkshire, Northeast and Northwest of England, you will focus on our key audiences of Individuals, Supporter Groups, Community organisations, Regional Corporates & Volunteers. You will make the most of your boundless energy & creativity to inspire our community and will be the regional driving force, ensuring our Supporter Groups continue to thrive, & our annual Community Fundraising Campaigns including, The Big Bake & Twilight Walk Own Walks are a success.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

   Developing & implementing a Regional Community Fundraising Strategy 25/26.

· Achieving agreed regional fundraising KPIs & contributing to the overall delivery of annual fundraising budgets and targets.

· Recruiting, building and maintaining relationships with the Community across the Region.  Aiming to increase their fundraising and encourage their ongoing participation in events and activities. This may be through community fundraising or using our fundraising products or initiatives.

· Recruiting, training and managing a network of regional volunteers who will support activity in the Region.

· Working collaboratively across the wider Charity Team to identify fundraising opportunities & maximise income in the region.

· Keeping our CRM fully up to date with information about our supporters and their activities. Using that data to understand what motivates our supporters in order to provide excellent stewardship.
