This essential role is all about keeping our finances running smoothly. As part of our busy Finance team, you’ll support the full range of our back-office finance function, working closely with the Finance Officer to manage creditors, debtors and working capital. You’ll take pride in ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and on time, while promoting strong financial controls that support the wider organisation.
You’ll work closely with colleagues, students, clubs and societies, helping them navigate financial processes, resolve queries and manage their budgets effectively. The Peer Recovery Worker will support people who are sleeping rough, at risk of rough
sleeping, or going through important stages in housing and recovery. The main purpose
of this role is to help reduce the harm caused by rough sleeping.
You will listen, build trust, give practical help and share clear information. You will help
people connect with the right support, including housing, health care, drug and alcohol
services, benefits advice, community groups, and services based at WSUP.
WSUP is not a drug and alcohol treatment provider, so this role does not involve
clinical treatment or specialist interventions. Instead, you will help people understand
their options, prepare for appointments, overcome barriers and stay connected with
services that can meet their needs.

About Animal Defenders International
London – Los Angles – Bogota – South Africa. Animal Defenders International (ADI) is a UK non-profit; ADI Foundation is a UK registered charity (inc. Lord Dowding Fund for Humane Research); Animal Defenders International Inc.US (nonprofit). Animal Defenders International South Africa, PBO (charity), funding the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary, South Africa. ADI works to protect wildlife, our environment; to end suffering of animals in entertainment (circuses, movies, shows, sports); replacement of animals in research & testing with advanced technology. When governments ban the use of all, or wild animals in entertainment, or wildlife pets, ADI supports with relocation of the animals, emptying all circus cages in Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Guatemala. You have the necessary skills and experience, with at least 4 years’ experience in fundraising planning and management for charities, including:
- Create friendly, positive, service-oriented approach to help supporters donate and advocate for animals.
- Diligent processing/handling of donations, acknowledgements, correspondence, phone calls.
- Integrity and confidentiality in the handling of sensitive and confidential information
- Integrity of financial records with finance database; liaison with CFO.

Full-time | £36,000 per annum
The charity has been supporting children, young people and families for over 25 years through a range of play, family support and youth programmes. Their Ofsted-registered after-school and holiday play schemes provide children aged 4–11 with safe, engaging and nurturing environments to explore, grow and thrive.
As Deputy Play Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role within the play service, helping to design, deliver and evaluate a high-quality programme of activities. You’ll support the Play Manager in day-to-day operations (including managing enquiries/collection of fees), team management and ensuring compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted standards.
This is a hands-on role combining leadership, planning, and active delivery — you’ll work directly with children and families to create safe, inclusive, and stimulating play environments.
