The UK organisation's clients are high / ultra-high net worth individuals with considerable assets dedicated to charitable giving. They will often work with private client advisors (lawyers, private bankers, wealth planners, accountants) to manage their wealth.

The UK organisation offer clients donor-advised funds (DAF) giving vehicles to individuals, family offices, and wealth managers. A donor-advised fund is a philanthropic fund established under an umbrella charity which administers the funds on behalf of the donor.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with the UK organisation to recruit a Grants Administration Analyst to join its busy and growing team based in the City of London.

Role Overview
The position reports to the Grants Directorand the individual will work closely with Operations, Donor Relations and Development Teams on overall grantmaking activities. The role will also involve working closely with the organisation's US colleagues on joint projects, shared learnings on grantmaking compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Grant Processing & Compliance

• Process grant recommendations accurately and efficiently across the full grantmaking lifecycle and in compliance with charity law, Charity Commission and/or IRS guidance and the umbrella charity's policies.
• Ensure grants made by the umbrella charity comply with all relevant UK and UK/US charitable grantmaking regulations and internal validation procedures
• Conduct due diligence on the receiving charity adhering to the umbrella charity's guidelines
• Submit finalised grants into relevant systems for review and approval by Staff or Board Committees.
• Draft, review and issue grant correspondence and award letters to grantees
• Liaise with charities, donors and donor representatives, as needed, to resolve grant-related queries and obtain supporting information where required
• Assist Grants Director with annual audit and reporting throughout the year.
