Help to turn inside knowledge into a powerful lever for corporate accountability.
Inside Track is hiring a Senior Campaigns Manager to ensure that valuable Insider insight successfully reaches and resonates with those who have the most power to act on it.
There are millions of people going to work each day with a sense that they are, in some way, working against the world they want to live in. They may know what needs to change and have ideas about how change could happen, but lack a safe and credible route through which to act.
Inside Track creates that route. We build confidential movements of senior professionals inside powerful industries, giving them protected spaces to share what they see. Their insight helps key stakeholders understand the cultures, structures, norms and incentives creating negative social and environmental outcomes, and apply targeted pressure to redress these.
The Senior Campaigns Manager plays a key role in this work. You will work across multiple industries, providing strategic input on the timing, medium, and narrative of campaigns, ensuring that they resonate with their target audience and effectively create the environment for change to happen.
This is not a standard campaigning role. Each industry group and each issue raised will demand an entirely different approach and may have a different pathway to impact, which will likely be complex, indirect, and long-term. You will need to be a highly strategic thinker, bold in vision and comfortable in uncertainty.
Inside Track is growing quickly. For the right person, this role offers a unique chance to establish the Insider voice as a key lever for accountability at a time of deep societal volatility and growing corporate power.
Who this could suit
We are looking for someone with significant experience in building campaigns with a successful NGO, who can take our impact to the next level. Specifically, we are hoping you will have:
- at least 5 years’ relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years’ managing campaigns for a successful NGO;
- a track record of creating impact through compelling campaigns;
- a strategic eye, with strong judgement on power, timing, tone and risk;
- strong creative intuition, with a sense of what medium and message appeals to what group;
- understanding of when and how media engagement creates value;
- deeply collaborative, with a desire to build strong relationships both internally and externally;
- the ability to communicate complex, sensitive and high-leverage work clearly;
- a serious and demonstrable commitment to social and environmental change;
- comfortable self-starting and working through uncertainty without a complete playbook;
- discretion when handling sensitive work;
- warm, curious, resilient, high conviction and low ego.
A working understanding of the structures and incentives which underpin major economic sectors would be useful but not essential.
Key details
- Contract type: Full-time.
- Working pattern: 4 days per week.
- Salary: £50,000 pro rata.
- Location: London based hybrid working with ability to work in person 2-3 days per week.

With a combined following of 600k+ across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, our youth mental health content sparks millions of engagements a year. This role is a rare chance to take a subject impacting 1 in 5 young people under 25 and turn it into content our audiences actively follow, engage with and feel part of. You'll have real strategic aptitude, a talented team of two ready to be led, and a mandate to be bold.

- Leading the development of a refreshed social media strategy across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
- Turning a sensitive, high-stakes subject into content people actively choose to engage with
- Leading and mentoring a creative team (2 x Social Media Officers, one with a specific focus on video content)
- Championing and safeguarding brand, tone and messaging at every stage
- Collaborating with young people, partners and creators to co-produce authentic stories and campaign
- Overseeing proactive community management, including responding safely to disclosures and safeguarding concerns
- Empowering young people to share their stories safely and confidently
- Working across teams to deliver high-impact content for fundraising, services, marketing and awareness
- Capturing the impact of events and turning real-life stories into content that inspires action
- Leading projects with agencies and internal teams
- Tracking, evaluating and amplifying success through insight
- Overseeing day-to-day social media operations
- Innovating and experimenting to reach, support and inspire young people
Working environment
We are currently working with a hybrid working model, where there is the option of working from home combined with 4-12 days a month of working in the office.
About you
The post holder will have the following:
- Experience shaping and delivering a social media strategy with real strategic ownership
- Experience using excellent written and visual communication and storytelling skills to turn complex, sensitive or systemic issues into engaging content
- Experience managing social media channels on behalf of an organisation, with a following of 100k+
- Experience overseeing community management at scale via a community management platform (e.g. Sprout or equivalent)
- Experience leading and mentoring a team to execute high-quality content and manage competing deadlines
- Ability to deliver compelling, youth-focused content, led by trends and insight
- Ability to take a trauma-informed approach to communication and crisis response
- Candidates will also be assessed on a short written task focused on how they will embody YoungMinds' values around anti-racism, justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in their day-to-day role

Over the coming years we’ll be a key partner in helping the government achieve its housebuilding targets, delivering long-term benefits to residents and communities.

This is a chance for someone with significant leadership experience, and a real interest in social housing, public affairs and policy to join us and help make those ambitions a reality. You will find great colleagues and a brilliant team, and get the opportunity to work on some of the toughest (and most interesting) social, economic and policy issues in the country.

We are a disability confident employer and if you are a disabled person who meets the skills and experience, we consider essential for the role, we will offer you an interview.

In these circumstances the NHF will select the disabled candidates who best meet the minimum criteria for the job rather than all of those that meet the minimum criteria, as we would do for non-disabled applicants. This is in line with the Disability Confident guidelines.
