Cockpit is a centre of excellence in craft and home to over 180 of the world’s finest makers. Established in 1986, Cockpit is a registered charity and an award-winning social enterprise. Cockpit provides business support and dedicated studio space to enable makers to make the most of their talent. With an international reputation for excellence, Cockpit is proud to have launched the careers of many of the leading names in contemporary craft.

As a key member of the Development Team, you’ll be a team player, with strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organisational skills, who is keen to take initiative and work across various projects.

You’ll be an excellent communicator who is enthusiastic about storytelling and relationship-building with a keen eye for detail and confidence working in a fast-paced environment. We don’t need you to have a background in craft or design, but ideally you’ll have experience in fundraising, and/or events within the creative industries.
