About the role

The Community Organiser - Youth plays a central role in growing Amnesty UK's nationwide movement of young human rights activists. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will build strong, lasting relationships with children and young people, empowering them to learn about human rights and take meaningful action in their schools, youth centres and communities. You will inspire thousands of young people each year through engaging talks, workshops and campaign events, and support them to develop the confidence and skills to become advocates for change.

A core part of the role is supporting and scaling Amnesty Clubs and Youth groups across the UK, alongside recruiting and training a network of volunteers who deliver human rights talks and workshops to engage and inspire young people. You will mentor and organise the Children's Human Rights Network, enabling young leaders to design and run impactful national campaigns on everyday rights issues and resisting authoritarianism. You will also contribute to AIUK's emerging work supporting boys and young men to engage with human rights.

This role typically needs to spend 1- 2 days per week visiting schools or youth clubs to fulfil the responsibilities of the role, and at least 1 day per month in the London office. More details can be found by downloading the job description from our careers portal.

Pro Bono Community is seeking a Training and Volunteer Coordinator to help us achieve greater access to justice.

Pro Bono Community is a registered charity that has developed specialised training programmes for students, trainees and lawyers covering the practical skills involved in delivering free legal advice and areas of social welfare law. In conjunction with the training, the charity arranges and manages volunteering placements at Law Centres and other advice agencies. The charity’s activities include a number of grant-funded projects which the coordinator will be heavily involved in.

We are looking for individuals to join our team who share our aims and mission and are driven to make them a reality.

About the role

Pro Bono Community is looking for a Training and Volunteer Coordinator to help us run programmes aimed at improving the amount and quality of access to justice by training law students and others and then placing them to work as volunteers at advice agencies.

The Training and Volunteer Coordinator will report to and work alongside the Director to undertake work supporting the charity’s activities with a focus on recruiting and training students and lawyers and then coordinating volunteering placements for them at Law Centres and advice agencies. The role also includes administrative work relating to a pioneering digital advice clinic the charity runs in conjunction with a Citizens Advice agency in London.

This is a full-time role with a salary of £31-35,000 depending on experience and the charity is seeking to appoint someone with knowledge of training and the legal/advice sectors and/or experience in a similar role. CARIS Families is a small charity that supports homeless families living in hostel accommodation in Camden and Hackney.We run play and learning activities for children aged 0-16 from within 4 hostels in these boroughs, as well as a school holiday day trip programme and an Essentials Bank to ease family hardship.Our services for children aim to reduce the stress on children and parents of living in overcrowded, insecure accommodation, and to put back some of the vital childhood experiences that homeless accommodation deprives children of. 

We are currently looking for a trainee playworker who is looking to build a career working with children to join our dedicated frontline play team.You do not need to have any formal experience of playwork, but you do need to be passionate about working with children and supporting them to achieve their potential, and to be able to demonstrate this through previous work or volunteering experience.

Role Description

We are looking for someone at the start of their career (or a career-changer) who is: 

• Experienced in working or volunteering within a play-based setting, with children between the ages of 0-16.

• Enthusiastic about supporting children in their free play and facilitating adult-led activities that stretch and stimulate children in their development 

• Passionate about improving opportunities for disadvantaged children 

• Understanding of the varied needs of children and their families

Salary: £14 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a collaborative Head of Operations to help  translate and operationalize organizational strategy. You’ll manage internal infrastructure with oversight of administrative and operational functions; risk management, employment practices, fundraising processes, information systems, compliance and policy. You will be working with a team of 3 on the Internal Affairs and in close collaboration with the five co-Executive Directors and the Finance Director.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To support the Development Function by managing opportunity research, bid compliance, and submission processes, ensuring a high-quality, organised and proactive pipeline of commissioned, grant and framework opportunities.

The Bid Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining bid governance, strengthening pre-tender intelligence, and ensuring timely, compliant submissions, while providing light-touch writing support where required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Opportunity Monitoring & Market Intelligence

• Monitor procurement portals (e.g. Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, DPS platforms, local authority portals) independently to identify relevant opportunities not yet captured in Stotles
• Use Stotles to its full capability for pre-bid market intelligence, including commissioner profiling, spend analysis, contract expiry tracking, award pattern analysis, and commissioning trend identification
• Flag potential opportunities to the Senior Bid Manager for qualification, supporting the maintenance of a 12-month forward pipeline
• Track live frameworks, grants and pipeline intelligence aligned to strategic priorities
• Maintain Bids, Grants and Awards in Salesforce (ensuring accurate stage progression
• Conduct early-stage opportunity research including:
  • Contract history and incumbent analysis
