We are looking for an experienced, proactive and creative fundraiser to support the growth of Sands’ Individual Giving and Legacy programme, including committed gifts, cash appeals, supporter acquisition and retention. Experience of using digital channels to grow income from supporters and creating exceptional donor experience are a key to this role.  

The Individual Giving Manager role is part of the establishment of the newly formed Individual Giving strategy, driving development of both acquisition and retention channels and establishing growth within both, while improving overall supporter experience. We have two exciting junior level positions for people who want to build a career in policy and campaigns. You will be eager to support DDPOs to secure policy change at local and national government levels. You will do this by analysing national and local policy developments that affect Deaf and Disabled people’s lives, gathering evidence, drafting policy papers and briefings, and coordinating DDPOs to work together to design and implement influencing strategies.

One of the two new roles will focus on our campaigns for an adequate standard of living for all Deaf and Disabled Londoners, and one will work on our campaign to secure affordable accessible housing in the capital.

You will receive regular support from colleagues to develop your knowledge and skills across a range of policy areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Trusts & Foundations: Oversee the grant pipeline, with external support for high-value applications and build relationships with decision-makers

• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and evaluate fundraising performance against financial and operational targets. Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations, sector and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising best practices

High Trees are seeking an experienced and data-driven Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead, with strong project management skills. You will be joining us at an exciting time as High Trees continues to grow the scale and reach of our work. This role is central to creating an evidence-based culture and embedding ongoing monitoring and evaluation cycles to understand the impact of our work.

Working across the organisation, you will need to be confident across a range of approaches to monitoring and evaluation and be able to assess and determine appropriate methods, dependent on context. You will be highly proficient in collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data and have experience in developing impact frameworks, including theory of change, outcomes, and indicators. As the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead, you will have oversight of monitoring systems and processes ensuring that impact data collected is to a high standard across the organisation and our partnerships.

Collaboration with colleagues is an essential part of this role and you will enjoy working with others and be a valued partner, peer and colleague. Supporting the Head of Community Research and Impact, you will actively contribute to ensuring our impact plan is effectively embedded within key strategic areas. You will need to be detailed orientated but motivated by how data and learning can be turned into impactful stories of change. For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035. 

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission. 

We’re on a mission to connect with thousands more bereaved military families and that starts with storytelling.We believe that ‘social’ media is in the past and what is needed today is ‘interest’ media – great content that engages its target audience has the potential to reach more people than a high follow count.As Content Creator, you’ll be our expert in creating great content, capturing the emotion, personality, and purpose behind everything we do. 

This is a fast-paced, highly proactive role focused on creating short-form video and photo content for social media. You’ll attend events, follow team members in action, and use your creative instincts to turn everyday moments into compelling content that resonates with our unique audience. We’re not looking for slick corporate videos, we want quick-turnaround, on-brand, authentic content that stops the scroll and builds trust. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Content Creation 

• Film and edit short-form video content (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories etc) for use across Scotty’s social channels. 

• Capture and edit photography when needed, particularly from in-person events and outreach activity, often on the go. 

• Work proactively to identify and attend opportunities to film team members and events (e.g. corporate talks, family days, community activity). 

• Jump on relevant trends and moments, adapting them to fit the tone, audience, and sensitivity of our cause. 

• Create great content which will educate or entertain our target audiences (within the bereaved military community). 

Editing & Tools 

• Use tools like CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or iPhone editing apps to deliver content quickly and efficiently. 

• Add subtitles, basic transitions, music, and graphics where appropriate, always with accessibility and brand in mind. 

• Maintain an organised archive of content and assets for reuse across campaigns. 

• Work closely with the Social Media & Marketing Exec to provide platform-ready content.

Planning & Collaboration 

• Collaborate with the Head of Outreach and Social Media & Marketing Executive to contribute to the content calendar and plan campaigns inline with goals. 

• Bring creative ideas to the table and take initiative in spotting content opportunities. 

• Work to brand guidelines while retaining creative flexibility, balancing tone, authenticity, and audience sensitivity. 

The 30-day goals for this role are: 

• Built a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction. 

• Conduct a full audit of the charities existing assets, tools and equipment.  

• Alongside the Head of Outreach and the Social Media & Marketing Exec demonstrate a strong understanding of the Scotty’s tone of voice and our marketing philosophy.

• Agreed key performance measures and personal success measures with Head of Outreach. 

• Attend and capture at least one live in-person event or activity and turn it into usable, on-brand content. 

The 60-day goals for this role are: 

• Delivering consistent, high-quality, creative content reflecting Scotty’s mission and resonating with our target audiences.

• Effectively repurposing existing content to meet current needs.

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

Must Have 

• A strong portfolio or clear examples of short-form social content (video and/or photography), with clear results.

• Confidence working independently and proactively, capturing content without needing detailed briefs. 

• Strong visual judgement and understanding of what works on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

• Willingness and ability to travel within the UK for events and activities (with flexibility around occasional evenings or weekends).

Main Responsibilities:

Office & Administrative Operations

• Manage day‑to‑day office operations to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and well‑organised working environment.

The Reconciling Leaders Network (RLN) has a vision for the church to be a reconciling presence in conflict and communities, with a purpose to mobilise a generation of reconcilers, pursuing a just and flourishing world. RLN works across the Anglican Communion and ecumenically, supporting a ministry of peacebuilding and reconciliation, with a small and agile team (currently six team members).
Reconciling Leaders Network (RLN) has developed Difference, growing a cohort of global champions and a network of leaders focusing on reconciliation as a mission.
Difference (difference.rln.global) aims to encourage, support and mobilise a generation to live out their calling as peacemakers and reconcilers, pursuing a just flourishing world. This role will seek to deliver significant growth and engagement of Difference.

What you'll be doing
The Head of Communications and Partnerships (for Reconciling Leaders Network) will lead RLN's communications, marketing, and digital engagement strategy, ensuring our message is clear, compelling, and consistent across all channels, extending the reach and engagement of Difference. This role is central to shaping how RLN and Difference are experienced by audiences in the UK and globally.

The successful candidate will bring understanding of the reconciliation and peacebuilding sector, as well as the geo-political and church contexts in which RLN operates. They will be a strategic thinker, a skilled marketeer, theologically astute and a relationship builder who is committed to equity, diversity, inclusion and justice, and brings cultural sensitivity to their work and leadership.

The post holder will support the bold objectives for this reconciliation ministry. They will have budgetary and line-management responsibilities and work with external agencies and freelancers to deliver outcomes.
You will work with and through Anglican systems, structures and networks as well ecumenically across different Christian denominations and other organisations - reaching a global audience. As well as working with civic, community and multinational organisations and networks.

Key role requirements
- You will need experience working with senior leadership to translate strategic goals into measurable communication plans and outcomes
- This is a 2-year fixed-term contract or secondment for internal NCI staff (extension dependant on funding)

About the Spokesperson Network

The Spokesperson Network trains and supports people to speak on television and radio. We are substantially boosting the number of progressive, diverse voices in this space to challenge opposition narratives and boost coverage of underrepresented issues.

The programme works by training, coaching and providing PR booking support for spokespeople from civil society working on social, environmental and economic issues. So far we’ve had over 11,000 high-profile media bookings including Question Time, Newsnight, Good Morning Britain, LBC, Channel 4 News, BBC 5 Live, Today, Sky News and ITV News plus many more.

What you will be doing

Here are the key responsibilities of this role:

• Run two Scotland-based Spokesperson Network Trainings
• Keep on top of the current trends and topics in the Scottish media and political environment
• Seek to book the spokespeople who have been trained into the media - with expectations of providing each person trained with ongoing media opportunities
• Support on the Spokesperson Network more widely - booking people into the UK-wide media.
• Be a key part of the Comms Hub - helping with other peoples projects, delivering training and bringing insight and ideas to team spaces.

Who you are:

• Experience in journalism, communications, media relations or a role that incorporates these skills.

Hours

Full-time, which for NEON is 28 hours a week - the equivalent of a 4 day standard work week. This can be done over 4 or 5 days, that’s totally up to you. Hours are generally flexible, with some core meetings everyone has to be at.

We are seeking a detail-focused CRM & Data Officer to join an international charity on a temporary basis. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving the organisation’s Salesforce CRM, ensuring data accuracy, supporting fundraising operations, and enabling colleagues to make the most of their data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and cleanse CRM data, including imports, mapping, and housekeeping

The role:

You will work closely with your team to monitor research grants, overseeing the development and implementation of the impact framework.  As the Research Manager you will play a key role in shaping the approach to impact analysis evaluation, dissemination and stakeholder engagement.  You will also have the opportunity to contribute to workshops and co-author publications.  At predetermined times of the year, you may be also asked to contribute to the peer review process and drafting of feedback to funding applicants.

You will have demonstrable experience leading high-impact campaigns spanning PR, media, corporate partnerships and influencer engagement to drive income growth, alongside the ability to engage, collaborate and influence senior stakeholders. You will also bring operational and strong expertise in developing core messaging and brand assets, analysing and optimising campaign performance, and applying best practice in income-generating marketing. Orphanages don’t protect children, they harm them. Put simply: the last thing an orphanage can provide is the first thing a child needs - someone to love them. Science shows what we all know, that the bond between a child and their family is vital for their development. Decades of evidence proves that orphanages harm children, subjecting them to high levels of abuse, as well as extreme neglect. Children always belong in families. They need protection, encouragement, play, laughter and love. They need somewhere to call home and someone to love them. You can help us make this a reality for children.
 
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, including any London weighting if applicable.
Location: Remote working with monthly travel to the London or Salisbury office for meetings, or office based with flexible and home-working options for part of the week.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

The Finance & Compliance Officer will typically report to Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Financial Management & Accounting (UK charity context)

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with UK charity good practice and organisational financial policies.

• Manage the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll journals, and bank transactions.

• Process payments in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders (team members, suppliers, partners, consultants), ensuring appropriate approvals, documentation, and compliance with delegated authority.

• Record and monitor income and expenditure, ensuring accurate project coding and fund allocation.

• Prepare monthly journals including accruals, prepayments, deferred income and inter-fund adjustments.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and full balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all control accounts are supported.

• Raise and process invoices where required (including consultant invoicing), and coordinate internal approval workflows for payment processing.

• Maintain and regularly update the medical insurance tracker and supplier payment tracker.

• Monitor and follow up on partnership (sub-grantee) agreements and payments, as well as programme consultancy trackers, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness.

• Support cashflow monitoring and short-term/medium-term cash forecasting; flag risks and timing issues proactively.

• Integrate monthly payroll journals into the accounting system and reconcile payroll control accounts.

• Support VAT preparation work and provide documentation for advisors

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Project Finance

• Support the Finance Manager with the preparation of annual organisational budgets and project budgets, including proposal costings and budget revisions as needed.

• Support with the preparation of management reporting packs for budget holders (actual vs budget vs forecast), with variance analysis and explanatory commentary.

• Support cross-departmental budget coordination to ensure compliance with donor agreements and funding conditions.

• Maintain and support the Finance Manager with project budget monitoring tools and monthly reforecasting, including burn rate analysis and scenario modelling.

• Assist the Finance manager in producing periodic financial reports for budget holders, including actuals vs budget vs forecast and key explanatory notes.

Compliance, Controls and Reporting

• Support compliance with internal financial controls, donor requirements, and UK charity regulatory obligations (including reporting to the Charity Commission).

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial analysis.

• Prepare year-end schedules and audit files in support of statutory accounts preparation under Charity SORP.

• Support the Finance Manager and external auditors during year-end and audit processes.

• Maintain a robust digital audit trail of financial documentation (contracts, invoices, approvals, grant agreements, timesheets and expenses).

• Identify internal control weaknesses and recommend proportionate process improvements across purchasing, expenses, consultancy contracting and sub-grant management.

• Support in preparation of donors’ reports ensuring compliance to donors’ rules.

• Assist with preparation of schedules for statutory accounts and audit, Support year-end close activities, Payroll, HR Finance & Treasury:

• Support end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll payments, PAYE, National Insurance and pension reconciliations.

• Maintain payroll records in compliance with HMRC requirements.

• Support banking administration including mandates, online banking platforms and payment authorisations.

• Assist with treasury tasks: cash monitoring, payment scheduling, and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Capacity Building and Internal Support:

• Provide guidance to staff on financial procedures and processes.

• Contribute to strengthening financial awareness and accountability across teams.

• Assist with training staff on financial processes, tools, and systems. Cover & Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide operational cover for the Finance Manager within delegated authority during periods of absence.

• Undertake additional finance and compliance responsibilities as required.

• Proactively identify financial risks and recommend improvements to strengthen governance and financial resilience.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• 3+ years’ experience in a finance officer (or equivalent) role with strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and maintaining audit trails.

• Experience using accounting software (Xero highly desirable), plus strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic data validation).

• Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT treatment, and compliance requirements within a UK charity context.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Experience preparing or supporting:

o monthly management accounts (journals, bank recs, balance sheet recs),

o cashflow monitoring and forecasting,

o project budgets and donor/project financial reporting.

• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritise tasks.

• High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

We are seeking an experienced, relational, and highly organised leader with a strong passion for the issues of mental health, poverty, and social justice that underpin Make Lunch. Working alongside other Church Relationship Leads, this role will train, support, and develop church-based volunteer Make Lunch teams, ensuring they provide effective support and meaningful connection to children, young people, and families in their communities.

With excellent people, communication and training skills, the postholder will nurture positive, growing relationships with volunteer Make Lunch Coordinators, enabling excellent programme leadership at a local level. Operationally astute and confident in bringing constructive challenge, they will ensure all Make Lunch activities are safe and fully compliant. Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, they will foster a growth mindset among those they support, maximising the impact of Make Lunch both locally and nationally.
