This role is at the heart of Child Bereavement UK’s identity, leading the strategy and delivery of our brand across the organisation to ensure we are recognised as the UK’s leading bereavement charity for children, young people and parents. Main Responsibilities

 Brand strategy and positioning

· Lead the development and ongoing evolution of the Child Bereavement UK brand strategy, ensuring it is audience driven and reflects our purpose, values and strategic priorities.

As Content Creator for Child Bereavement UK, you’ll play a vital role in helping us communicate sensitive messages with care, clarity and impact. Working alongside content, brand and marketing colleagues, you’ll assist with the pitching and creation of high-quality digital, audio and print content that speaks directly to our priority audiences, refining and optimising content so it reaches and supports those who need it most.

This is a full-time role with employment commencing from September 2026.

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences – is seeking an ECR Network Regional Coordinator to join the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network team within the Research Directorate. This is an exciting moment to help deliver the activities of the ECR Network, which has recently expanded nationwide, with membership currently at over 9,500.

The role

The ECRN Regional Coordinator is the main point of contact for three out of the nine regional clusters, which are London, Southeast and East of England. The role holder will oversee the day-to-day operational management and delivery of their regional areas. This will include managing the operational relationships with the regional delivery partners; organising and coordinating regional and network-wide events; managing network-wide funding opportunities; and supporting related initiatives such as the Leadership and Advancement programme.

In post, you will be the key liaison between the Academy and the delivery partners of each region. You will coordinate and be responsible for maintaining and improving operational practices and policies, working closely with early career researchers (ECRs), regional partners, Fellows and staff of the British Academy, and any other stakeholders.

This role plays a key role in supporting the successful operation of the British Academy Early Career Researcher Network. You will be an effective communicator, a team player who is able to collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders, be self-directed, and be happy to take initiative. Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving, in terms of planning, prioritisation and demonstrating resilience when faced with adversity, is essential.

The role will require travel between your allocated clusters. This will be to attend events and meetings with delivery partners where appropriate, with an expectation to be in the London Office at least once a month.

The overall purpose of the role is to provide timely psychosocial assessment, psychoeducation and proactive pre- and post-bereavement support to children, young people and adults, using a range of supportive methods, approaches and techniques consistent with level 2 of the NICE (2004) psychological framework.

The post holder will form part of the On Demand Team and will be responsible for the effective day-to-day operation and delivery of the service (Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm) across a range of On Demand digital platforms. The post holder will also complete comprehensive risk assessments with children, young people and adults, and will liaise with relevant external agencies—such as social care, the police and general practitioners—in accordance with organisational safeguarding policies and procedures.

In addition, the role involves conducting regular weekly referral callbacks, using clinical judgement to ensure that each person is supported to access the most appropriate service for their needs at that time. Working alongside the wider bereavement services team, the post holder may also co-facilitate therapeutic group sessions and deliver one-off psychosocial education groups or workshops, extending the reach of bereavement support beyond individual contacts.

The role

We are looking for a sharp, experienced communications professional to lead ASL's voice and drive its communications strategy at a pivotal moment in the organisation's growth. This is a senior, strategy-led role for someone who combines rigorous campaign instincts with genuine digital fluency.

About you

You have at least 8 years' experience in senior communications roles, ideally within campaigning or purpose-driven organisations. You have a track record of delivering communications campaigns with measurable real-world impact.

About the role
The Governance Officer will work closely with the Head of Governance to support the effective and efficient functioning of the board of governors, its committees, the Foundation’s subsidiary company, Medtrust, and other aspects of corporate governance. The role will be crucial in coordinating and ensuring successful delivery of different programmatic interventions including, but not limited to, school talks, workshops and work experience for young people in Wales. efforts across that nation to successfully provide end-to-end deliver for Wales’s Creative Talks, Workshops and work experiences and achieve the aims.This includes working with the Futures For All programme teams (Work Experience and Speakers for Schools Teams), and our internal Evaluation and Education teams. 

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Strategic purpose

• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Talks and Work Experience opportunities from initial scoping with schools to securing commitments from speakers and employers, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and stakeholder follow up.  
• Nurturing relationships with key delivery partners to ensure employers or school introduced to the programme are seamlessly onboarded. 
• Working with partners in securing commitments from speakers and employers to deliver talks, workshops and multi-day work experience opportunities.  

• Account management and stewarding for speakers and employers throughout their journey.  

• Preparing employers and speakers to use all speaker and work experience guidance in the coordination and delivery of their placements, including but not limited to Portal and Google Classroom.  

• Working closely with Delivery Partners to ensure seamless delivery of opportunities.  

• Leading on all speaker and employer engagement and meetings with your dedicated contacts/accounts.  

• Work with evaluation team on developing and disseminating impact reports within your specific nation.

• Working closely with Education team to ensure school engagement is in line with charity’s mission

• Delivering training sessions to schools and colleges on our programmes and building on engagement in Wales.

• Building partnerships as determined by needs of the DCMS contract and education partners.

• Developing long-standing relationships with school and college contacts to enable engagement in and implementation of our product offer.  

Delivery:

• Providing best practice guidance and advice on programme set up and content.  

• Responsible for delivery and completion of own work experience placements and the operational and administrative activity required.  

• Taking ownership of own capacity management using capacity management frameworks to help inform future workload planning.  

• Adherence to data compliance, standards, guidelines and best practices to ensure our data integrity and consistency.  

• Retain our registered schools and colleges in our network and increase engagement levels in all programmes.  

• Ensuring all data relating to KPIs is accurate, recorded and presented in reports when required.  

• Represent and work to our values as, fostering a culture of positivity, support, respect, and inclusivity, while taking personal responsibility for their attitude, performance, and development.  

•  Ensure safeguarding best practice is enshrined in all organisational activity.  

Skills / Experience / Knowledge:

Essential:

• Programme Coordination experience, with complex stakeholder management
• Experience and knowledge of the education and careers landscape in Wales. 
• Proficient in process improvement and reporting
• Proficient use of CRM and Microsoft Office to track relationships and ensure proper data management 
• Clear and concise communicator, capable of producing written reports to a professional quality 
• Excellent people relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders 
• Demonstrable time management skills and proven ability to work to key deadlines 
• Relevant project coordination related experience 
• Experience in analysing data and producing reports and recommendations 

Desirable:

• Hands on approach to all tasks with a spirit of getting stuck in and supporting others 
• Knowledge and/or experience of working with National Quality Assurance Frameworks 
• Project Management Qualification or equivalent experience 
• Experience in supporting young people via charity programmes 
• Previous experiences designing packages/maintaining relationships with educational establishments as an external partner 
• Experience of working with or within the creative sectors

The Events Officer plays a vital role in delivering our flagship fundraising event, Sleep Out. About you

• Proven experience of working in a supporter or customer-facing role.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the successful delivery and growth of our public Sleep Out events in London and Manchester and our ‘Host Your Own Sleep Out’ product.
• Engage and steward all Sleep Out event participants, supporting them with their fundraising, answering queries and building strong relationships.
• Support the implementation of marketing plans that recruit participants.
• Support the Event Manager in managing the partnership with NBS to maximise the impact of the partnership and strive for long-term growth.
• Responsible for administrative processes for the Sleep Out team including donor and financial records, monitoring and creating resources and materials.
