The Role
As Wellbeing Services Manager, you will provide day-to-day support to a growing team of independent, contracted counsellors. Working closely with the Wellbeing Director, you will contribute to governance, protocol development, administrative coordination, and quality assurance across the service.
This is a role for someone who combines experience in therapeutic pathways and counselling governance and processes, with the leadership skills and technological confidence needed to thrive in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Counselling practice
Act as the primary internal escalation point for risk and safeguarding.
Triage high-risk and complex cases and refer them to the counsellor best placed to support the client.
Apply trauma-informed, gender-affirming approaches across all areas of practice.
Team support & development
Provide day-to-day management and operational oversight of the counselling team, ensuring consistent standards of service delivery across the caseload.
Coordinate admin support for counsellors.
Coordinate scheduling and mentoring support for counsellors.
Contribute to the onboarding and initial suitability review of new counsellors joining the Anne Health register.
Support the Wellbeing Director in building a high-performing, resilient service culture.

Person Specification
Qualifications & professional membership
Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (completed); higher qualifications welcomed.
Full BACP membership, or the UK equivalent professional body registration.
Experience
Experience managing a team of counsellors, including providing internal oversight of service delivery, distinct from the formal clinical supervision counsellors hold independently as a condition of their professional registration.
Significant, demonstrable experience in transgender and gender-affirming healthcare at a senior level.
Proven ability to manage risk, safeguarding, and ethically complex presentations.
Experience in a mentoring or counselling lead capacity.
Familiarity with the unique needs of trans+ and gender-diverse people across a range of presentations.

Role Overview
The Governance Administration Officer will be an integral member of the Trust’s Governance and Administration Team, supporting the Governance & Compliance Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of governance and compliance activities of the Trust as well as providing administration support to the wider team alongside other administration staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Governance
1. Provide administrative support to enable effective management of The Road Safety Trust’s Governance and Compliance activities.
2. Support co-ordination of RST Board and Committees. This may include timely preparing meeting packs, taking minutes, following up actions and organising logistics for virtual and physical meetings.
3. Maintain accurate Governance and Compliance registers e.g. conflicts of interest, skills matrices, Terms of Office records and end of year governance documents, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
4. To ensure documentation in relation to RST Trustees is maintained appropriately.
5. Support Trustee recruitment and induction, coordinate Trustee training, and regulatory reporting.
6. Co-ordinate and monitor Policies and Procedures reviews and maintain the Policies register.
7. Provide support for the internal audit programme, coordinating audit meetings, compiling documentation and assisting with actions and reports.
8. Support risk management information, including risk registers other compliance activities.
9. Provide support for Board and Committee reports and dashboards to demonstrate progress against key actions and service delivery at RST.
10. Support the preparation of the annual report and organisation of the AGM.
Administration
11. Use Microsoft Office, HR, Finance Systems to ensure RST policies and processes are adhered to.
12. Ensure the provision of information in the relevant sections of SharePoint for easy access by staff as required.
13. Contribute to the organisation of events, workshops and conferences as required.
14. To support the finance function of the Trust as appropriate.
15. Identify and contribute to improvement of processes and procedures.
16. Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR and data protection legislation, ensuring safe storage and responsible sharing of data.
17. Support with cover for the rest of the administration team as required.
18. Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the role.

The Role

The Role

Stroke Support Worker
We are looking for an empathetic, adaptable individual, experienced in person centred support to work with stroke survivors and their loved ones on the stroke ward in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Position: 000029 Stroke Support Worker
Location: Homebased, Doncaster, South Yorkshire. However, travel will be required twice weekly to Doncaster Royal Infirmary as part of this role (and occasional wider travel may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role
This work is part of a project (the Integrated Offer), exploring the needs and ongoing connection for people affected by stroke in hospital and beyond.
The role will involve delivering person-centred stroke support in the hospital setting, while working with the Integrated Offer team to test and implement new approaches. The areas we aim to deliver and test are:
· Deliver person centred conversations with people affected by stroke on the acute ward.
· Following an initial conversation, test how people affected by stroke connect with the Stroke Association next, and what they connect to.
· Explore how to increase connection with those who are not present on the ward at the same time as us.
(note- we may test some or all the above)
To support flexible delivery and testing, you'll also develop your skills by providing phone support to people affected by stroke.
The role includes working in Doncaster Royal Infirmary starting with twice weekly visits, for 3 hours per session. These sessions can be any time after 11am. The length, timing and cadence of the sessions may need to adjust as this is a test and we will be led by what works for the hospital and people affected by stroke.
Occasional overnight stays may be required.
About You
Key skills/experience:
· Experience of communicating directly with people affected by stroke, either on the phone or face to face.
· Experienced in person centred support Emotional intelligence and good judgement skills
· Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly at a time where emotions may be heightened.
· High levels of emotional resilience to handle complex situations whilst working in a hospital environment.
· Ability to embrace the principles of coaching and reflective practice to drive continuous improvement.
