These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with tens of millions of visits every year.

We are now looking for a Park Support Officer to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract, working 36 hours per week.

The Benefits

  • 26 days' annual leave plus public holidays
  • Pension scheme (3% employee contribution; up to 10% employer contribution)
  • Private medical insurance and healthcare cash plan
  • Employee assistance programme and access to mental health first aiders
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Offices in a beautiful location

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with experience using office IT applications to embark on a rewarding career with our dedicated organisation.

The Role

As a Park Support Officer, you will be at the heart of park operations, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our park offices. You’ll work closely with park management, operational teams, contractors, and visitors, providing a professional, welcoming, and efficient service.

This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, is highly organised, and takes pride in supporting colleagues and visitors alike.

Additionally, you will:

  • Raise purchase orders and sales invoices, reconcile departmental credit card transactions
  • Support the Visitor Support team by responding to queries and complaints using park knowledge
  • Assist with park activities including picnics, bandstand use, and events
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, incoming and outgoing post

About You
