About the role

As Senior Fire Remediation Legal Compliance Manager, you'll lead Peabody's Fire Remediation Legal Compliance function, setting the standards, governance framework and assurance processes that underpin our fire remediation programme. 

You'll be responsible for ensuring the programme operates within its legal obligations arising from contracts, legislation, leases, grant funding agreements and third-party arrangements. You'll also lead delivery of the Cladding Safety Scheme grant funding requirements, working closely with Homes England, internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance, transparency and successful programme delivery. 

What You'll Do

• Lead, develop and inspire a team of eight through two direct-report managers, setting priorities and building capability across the legal compliance function.
• Own the delivery of the Cladding Safety Scheme grant funding requirements, including applications, reporting, administration and assurance activity.
• Act as the senior point of contact for Homes England regarding grant funding compliance, reporting and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with legal obligations arising from contracts, legislation, leases, grant funding agreements and third-party arrangements.
• Provide leadership on compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021 and related building safety regulations.
• Oversee monitoring and reporting of litigation affecting the fire remediation programme and support contractual negotiations where required.
• Lead oversight of complex Land Registry title structures, lease reviews and leaseholder protection obligations.
• Deliver executive, board and regulatory reporting, ensuring accurate and timely compliance information.
• Oversee programme data management, including asset, liability and property records.
• Act as the senior escalation point for compliance risks, identifying solutions and driving continuous improvement across governance processes. 

What You'll Need

• Significant leadership experience within a legal, compliance or governance environment, including managing managers.
• An LLB Law Degree or relevant legal qualification.
• Detailed knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021 and associated guidance and regulations.
• Experience managing government grant funding programmes, ideally the Cladding Safety Scheme or Building Safety Fund.
• Expert knowledge of Land Registry titles, complex leases and leaseholder protections.
• Strong experience managing complex programmes, including planning, reporting and data management.
• Experience working within a regulated environment subject to external scrutiny.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executives, regulators, funders and external partners.

We are looking for an exceptional senior leader to join The National Lottery Community Fund as Deputy Director England, Policy, Partnerships and Performance. As a key member of the England Senior Leadership Team, you will lead a multidisciplinary function that provides the strategic backbone for delivery of the England Portfolio - connecting policy, partnerships, planning, performance, improvement, insight and learning so that our funding achieves measurable impact for communities.

Reporting to the England Director, Strategy, Partnerships & Engagement, you will lead high-performing, dispersed teams and work closely with funding colleagues and corporate and enabling functions, including Funding Strategy, Corporate Responsibilities, Communications and Impact. The role combines substantial internal leadership with a strong ambassadorial remit, building the Fund’s credibility and influence across the voluntary and community, public and private sectors.

This is a varied, strategic role focused on turning ambition into delivery. You will set clear direction for policy, partnerships and performance; use external intelligence, management information and learning to shape decisions; and ensure implementation is coherent, well governed and able to adapt. You will represent the Fund with senior stakeholders, produce compelling advice for governance forums, including Committee and Board meetings, and create the conditions for teams to deliver consistently and collaboratively.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Lead the Policy, Partnerships and Performance function and support effective implementation of the England Portfolio.
• Develop the Fund’s policy positioning and influence, informed by community need, external insight and organisational priorities.

You will bring significant senior-level experience of policy and strategy development, partnership working, implementation and performance leadership. You will have a strong record of translating strategy into coherent plans and measurable delivery, using evidence to manage risk and improve performance. An inclusive and compassionate leader, you will be confident operating in decision-making environments at Board or Committee level, influencing senior stakeholders and communicating complex issues clearly. You will also be financially astute, with extensive experience of costing, financial modelling and budgeting, comfortable overseeing grant budgets and resource decisions, and motivated by the Fund’s purpose and the communities we serve. This England-focused role will involve travel to build relationships with colleagues, communities and partners.

You will be comfortable using data, insight and evidence to drive decision-making and have a track record of stakeholder engagement and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. 

You will also bring experience of impact measurement, evaluation, quality assurance or performance frameworks, with the ability to use evidence to demonstrate value and improve services. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and work across organisational boundaries. An understanding of the needs of older people, the wider ageing sector and the role that data, learning and collaboration play in delivering social impact would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will lead on the development of a brand-new Tech and Digital Pathways to the Professions programme due to launch in Sep 2027 working with colleagues across the organisation. They will also manage and deliver, a range of other cohort-based employability programmes delivered both online and in-person. They will join a small and passionate team, led by the Head of Employability Programmes, and will play an important role in contributing to the on-going success of our programme work and industry engagement strategy.

Main duties

This role is responsible for leading on the design, planning and delivery of the new Tech and Digital programme (pre 18), alongside planning delivery for the existing employability programmes including our current Careers Plus (post-18) programmes in the tech & digital sector.

Programmes design and delivery

• Design a suite of interventions and activities for the new Pathways to Tech & Digital programme for launch in September 2027 leveraging our existing Sutton Trust theory of change, previous evaluations and models adapted from existing programmes. The role will work closely with the Senior Employability Manager and other colleagues across the team responsible for employer engagement, evaluation and marketing to ensure successful launch.

• Deliver existing employability programmes including our current Careers Plus (post-18) programme to launch the next cohort in April 2027, liaising with the Alumni team to ensure alignment with overall alumni engagement.

• Plan, project manage and deliver a range of online and in person activities within those employability programmes including launch events, career insight activities, academic taster sessions, skills workshops, group projects, networking, information and advice sessions etc. Some activities will also be in-person at employer partners.

• Liaise with colleagues in the Employer Engagement team to plan and delivery work experience placements, insight days and employer volunteering across programmes.

• Design engagement and comms plans for programmes to ensure strong student engagement and retention

In this role, you’ll analyse performance across our website, email and social channels, turning complex data into clear insight that helps shape how we plan and evaluate content and campaigns. You’ll also help ensure we’re measuring digital activity effectively, using tools including GA4 and Google Tag Manager to implement and maintain tracking.
 
Working closely with colleagues across the Content and Brand teams, you’ll help us understand what’s working, how our members are engaging with our content and where we can improve. Your insight will help us make evidence-based decisions, test and learn from what we do, and improve the digital experience we provide for our members.
 
What you’ll do:

• Gather, analyse and present performance data across the College’s digital channels, including website, email and social media
• Maintain analytics dashboards and produce regular insight highlighting trends, changes in performance and opportunities to improve engagement.
• Implement, test and maintain tracking through GA4 and Google Tag Manager, ensuring digital activity is measured accurately and consistently.

About the role:

Recovery is about more than addressing immediate needs. It is also about having somewhere to belong, opportunities to build confidence and skills, meaningful connections with other people, and the chance to take part in the community around you. As our Recovery and Opportunities Co-ordinator, you’ll help make those opportunities a reality for people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage in our St John's Mansions service. 

You’ll develop and coordinate our Recovery and Opportunities programme, creating activities and opportunities that reflect what clients actually want from their services and communities. You’ll work alongside clients, colleagues, volunteers and peer supporters to co-produce activities, build participation and make sure people are supported to get involved in ways that feel meaningful to them. You’ll also help equip others with the confidence, training and resources they need to deliver opportunities effectively.

A big part of the role happens beyond our services. You’ll build strong relationships with community organisations, local residents, statutory and voluntary-sector partners and other opportunities across Islington, opening doors for clients to access volunteering, education, cultural activities and wider community life. You’ll represent Single Homeless Project (SHP) at local forums and events, champion social value across our services and look for creative ways we can contribute positively to the communities our clients are part of.

You’ll also help us understand what is making a difference, monitoring participation and outcomes and using what we learn to strengthen the programme over time. It’s a role with plenty of scope for creativity and initiative, where you can turn relationships, ideas and client feedback into opportunities that reduce isolation, strengthen belonging and help people move forward with greater confidence, independence and purpose.

In this varied and versatile role, you’ll work as part of the communications team to raise the charity’s profile and celebrate its positive impact for patients and NHS staff. You’ll also work closely with the charity’s grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising teams to promote key activities.

You’ll play an active role in ensuring the team’s aims and objectives are met, using a range of communications approaches including internal comms, digital marketing and public relations.

You’ll also work collaboratively with our partner NHS Trust’s communications team on a day-to-day basis. This will include building close links with members of the team in order to utilise the Trust’s internal channels and build engagement with its staff and external stakeholders.

You’ll take the lead in creating written, photographic and video content for a range of communication channels. This will include updating the charity’s website, co-ordinating social media content and producing printed and digital marketing materials, as well as supporting other charity teams with events and activities as required.
