About the role 

This exciting opportunity will be supporting the Third Party Events Manager with the ongoing development of our third party running and challenge events. You’ll be forming strong relationships with our supporters and delivering event experiences from concept to completion. 

This role has lots of potential for growth and development. You’ll work closely with the Events Management team to expand and develop our third party events programme, steward existing supporters and engage new audiences that aim to raise the charity’s profile and reach as well as significant income.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Third Party Events Manager to manage and develop the 3rd party events strategy and budgets, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities

• Plan, manage, deliver and develop 3rd party events in order to achieve agreed income, expenditure and audience targets

• Create and manage event budgets ensuring that income, expenditure and KPI’s are met

• Work with the Events Managers to create and develop stewardship communications across a range of channels

• Lead the strategic plan and development of the Team Parkinson’s social media platforms to create a friendly, engaging and ‘community feel’ environment

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of successfully delivering a variety of fundraising events including recruitment of participants and volunteers 

• Experience of drawing up budgets and managing income (min £350,000) and expenditure (min £85,000) 

• Understanding of data and insight that is needed to test, optimise and evaluate the running events portfolio 

• Excellent communication and written skills

• Experience of project management including liaising with and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.

Join BBS UK and help deliver compassionate support within NHS highly specialised clinics, supporting children and families living with Bardet-Biedl syndrome.

At Bardet-Biedl Syndrome UK (BBS UK), we are dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by this rare genetic condition. Our charity provides specialist support services that help children, young people and families feel informed, supported and able to navigate complex health and care systems, working in partnership with NHS Highly Specialised BBS Clinics.

We are seeking a compassionate and organised individual to join our Clinics Support Team as a Patient Liaison Officer (PLO). This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver charity-led support within specialist paediatric clinics at Great Ormond Street Hospital, working alongside NHS multi-disciplinary teams while remaining part of a close-knit and supportive charity team.

About the Role

As a Patient Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring families feel prepared, supported and heard before, during and after their clinic appointments. You will provide emotional and practical support, advocacy and system navigation, helping families to understand their care and access appropriate support, while referring more complex casework to BBS UK’s specialist Advice Service.

You will:

• Support families before, during and after NHS Highly Specialised BBS clinic appointments

• Facilitate clinic attendance by preparing families for appointments, addressing concerns and helping to reduce “Did Not Attend” rates

• Attend specialist BBS clinics at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and St Thomas' Hospital, providing on-the-day support to families and clinicians (Approximately 2-4 days per month)

• Act as a key point of contact between families and clinical teams, supporting communication and information-sharing

• Provide light-touch advocacy, information and signposting in relation to health, education, social care and local authority support

• Identify unmet needs or emerging issues during clinic interactions and refer families to the BBS UK Advice Service for specialist advocacy and follow-up

• Support families during key transition points, particularly the move from paediatric to adult services

• Maintain accurate and confidential records using BBS UK’s CRM system (CharityLog)

• Contribute to service evaluation, quality improvement and the wider work of BBS UK

This is a home-based role with attendance at clinics in central London and occasional travel to other clinic sites and BBS UK events. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with BBS UK policies.

London Friend is the UK’s oldest LGBTQ+ charity providing health and wellbeing support to LGBTQ+ people. Services include support and social groups; counselling; drug & alcohol support; an extensive volunteering programme; and training and consultancy.

About the team

The Global Media and Celebrity Team is part of WaterAid's award-winning Communications and Fundraising Directorate. We lead the organisation’s UK and global news and PR strategies, manage media relations for UK and international media outlets and journalists, develop and deliver creative, innovative campaigns, and support other WaterAid global offices with their press and communications.

The talent function ensures we have a portfolio of high profile talent, content creators and influencers to meaningfully drive awareness, raise funds and action for our work.

About the role

The Content Creator & Celebrity Manager, leads WaterAid’s digital talent strategy  to drive and elevate our ambitious communications, fundraising and influencing activities. Aligned with our strategic aims, this role is responsible for identifying, and engaging digital talent and their teams, by bringing their know-how, cultural connections and entrepreneurial flair to deliver impactful results.

In this role, you will:

Lead on delivering a digital talent strategy for WaterAid’s brand, fundraising and political campaigning activities that aligns with the social and digital teams aims:

• Building on the exposure from the #TeamWater campaign in 2025, lead on engaging the YouTube creator community to strategically engage and meaningfully grow our Gen Z audience on the channel.
• Drive and deliver strategic online and offline talent engagement for WaterAid UK organisational priorities, securing talent, creator and influencer support for key communications campaigns and projects
• Lead in developing ideas and implementing new income streams with talent online and on social channels.
• Lead with internal and external stakeholders and help shape decisions around how to progress projects.
• Responsible for strong relationship building and management with talent and their agents, and ensuring they deliver on their commitments.

To be successful, you will need:

• 4 years+ Proven experience of working with high-profile personalities (celebrities and influencers and content creators)
• Experience of creating content for and strategically growing YouTube channels
• Extensive experience in and knowledge of digital marketing and social media – spanning earned, owned, shared and paid
• Established network of media contacts, talent agents, or content creators.
• Proven experience of generating income streams through talent and online engagement activities
• Experience of delivering impactful talent-led activities that achieve earned and shared reach for campaigns across different digital channels.
• In depth technical expertise (for example, in the mechanics of video creation) is not essential. Knowing where to get great content and how to get it seen is.
• Demonstrable creativity to develop new ideas, collaborate with others and spot opportunities for growth.
• Experience of delivering earned and shared reach for campaigns via talent support
• An experienced and confident presenter/negotiator used to dealing with both internal and external clients
• An effective decision maker, and able to ground decisions in what will make most impact towards the achievement of the strategy.
• Proven experience of working with in-house media teams or directly with the media on celebrity opportunities
• Crisis communications, risk management and safeguarding management experience; proven ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Experience of managing projects and motivating others and driving change.
• Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in communications

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Experience working within the non-profit or social impact space.
• Experience in strategic communications in an international, matrix organisation
• Familiarity with fundraising campaigns and donor engagement.

Based in North Kensington, Dalgarno Trust is a vibrant community centre supporting local residents of all ages through health, wellbeing, education, training, and youth programmes. As the only community centre in this part of the borough, we play a vital role in bringing people together, tackling inequality, and strengthening community resilience.

As Head of Fundraising and Development, you will be a key member of our Core Team, working closely with the Chief Executive to secure and manage the resources that enable our work. This is a varied and hands-on role combining fundraising, CRM management, marketing and communications, and organisational administration, offering the opportunity to make a visible and lasting impact.

You will lead on researching and writing funding bids, managing relationships with funders, and ensuring that monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements are met. You will oversee and develop our CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring high-quality data, producing reports, and supporting colleagues through training. You will also play a central role in diversifying income through donations, sponsorships, commercial activity, and use of our assets.

Alongside fundraising, you will lead our marketing, communications, and promotion, keeping our website, social media, and noticeboards up to date, and ensuring our work is clearly and effectively communicated to the wider community. The role also includes administrative and HR support, such as assisting with recruitment processes, timesheets, training coordination, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice.

We are looking for someone highly organised, administratively confident, and comfortable working independently, while also enjoying collaboration with colleagues, partners, and community members. You will bring experience of community-based work, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine commitment to equality, inclusion, and positive social change.
