Working hours: 35 Hours per week, with the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working

Part-time working may be considered for an exceptional candidate, with a minimum of approximately 28 hours per week with one working day being a Monday.

Salary: £36,225 to £38,850 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience

ROLE DUTIES

• To guide and advise parishes on their safeguarding enquiries and referrals.
• Manage, investigate, lead, and conclude designated cases
• To maintain up to date records relating to your designated caseload on the church’s National Safeguarding Case Management System, and the recording of case supervision.
• To form and maintain productive, professional relationships with parishes, especially Parish clergy, Senior clergy, and parish volunteers, particularly the Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSOs).

CRITERIA

• A minimum of two years’ experience of safeguarding children and adults in the voluntary or statutory sector.
• Experience in risk evaluation/assessment relating to offenders/offending behaviour.
• Experience of managing safeguarding situations as part of a caseload.
•  Experience and understanding of safeguarding procedures in relation to children and adults

What will you do?

The Role

About the Organisation

The Grenfell 'Education Hub' opened last year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub provides a safe, restorative and relational education support to children and young people, their families and local schools.

In this Senior Marketing Officer role with the Activation Team, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of the Press Inserts and Door Drop campaigns. • £42,562 - £46,703 FTE per annum (£34,049.60 - £37,362.40 per annum for part-time, 29.6 hours per week)

Key responsibilities:

As Development Manager, you will support the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy for key restoration projects. You will identify and research a pipeline of prospective individual donors, high-net-worth individuals and corporates capable of supporting these capital works. You will develop high-quality grant applications in collaboration with colleagues (including a National Lottery Heritage Fund bid) and manage funder relationships through effective reporting on grant use and impact. You will refresh and manage the Friends scheme to improve member recruitment, retention and encourage upgrades to higher giving levels. You will also relaunch the legacy fundraising programme, promoting gifts in wills sensitively to Friends and visitors.

To be successful, you will need or need to be:

• Significant demonstrable experience in a fundraising or development role in a charity
• Demonstrable experience in Individual Giving or supporting Capital Campaigns.
• Demonstrable experience writing successful grant applications, ideally with previous experience of working on a successful National Lottery Heritage Fund bid.
• Experience in managing membership schemes and organising and delivering supporter events.

The role
As a Training and Events Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and delivery of a busy portfolio of online, hybrid, and in-person training courses and events. You’ll manage multiple activities at once, ensuring excellent standards of organisation, communication, and customer service.
You’ll work closely with delegates, trainers, speakers, and internal teams often at a senior level so confidence, attention to detail, and adaptability are key.
 
Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of training courses (predominantly online)
• Support the operational delivery of events and conferences
• Manage bookings, databases, inboxes, and event systems accurately
• Set up and support online events, including live troubleshooting
• Liaise with venues, facilities, and IT teams for in-person and hybrid events
