Job Title: Corporate Fundraiser (London)

This is a newly created role, designed to strengthen our corporate fundraising activity and build impactful partnerships across the UK.

Location: Hybrid (remote and on-site as required)

Salary: £45,000 per year plus London weighting.

Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

The County Air Ambulance Trust has been providing essential funds that help to save lives for over a quarter of century, registered as a charity in 1996. From its regional beginnings it has become a national charity and since 2009, following the launch of the HELP Appeal, the charity has been raising much needed funds to provide life-saving helipads where they are needed most

Our HELP (Helicopter Emergency Landing Pads) Appeal is the only charity in the country funding helipads at NHS hospitals. Our mission is to ensure that patients receive timely care by facilitating rapid air ambulance access to hospitals, enhancing patient survival and recovery prospects. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, research and secure high-value corporate partnerships to generate significant income. This role focuses on developing partnerships with national organisations across the UK, not solely London-based corporates.
• Develop tailored proposals and sponsorship packages for large corporate organisations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, ensuring excellent stewardship and long-term engagement.
• Represent HELP Appeal at networking events, meetings, and presentations to cultivate new opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the fundraising function and marketing/events teams to deliver partnership benefits and maximise impact.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular reports on progress against targets.
• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and ethical standards and reflect best practice.
• Communicate the mission and impact of HELP Appeal effectively to inspire corporate support.

About Woman’s Trust

The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. Woman’s Trust is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recovery from the trauma. We are committed to a positive, inclusive and equitable environment for our staff, service users and volunteers.

Alongside delivering our existing 1-1 counselling, self-development workshops and therapeutic support groups for women who have experienced domestic abuse, we are focused on developing our innovative mental health services for young women and girls, delivering new peer-led support groups and providing therapeutic groups to children and their mothers. We are also committed to developing further awareness-raising workshops and training for professionals, building on our research and policy to improve systems nationally.

Background

The lack of recognition of domestic abuse as a mental health issue within the NHS leads to delayed and inadequate support for survivors. This gap in understanding and response often result in survivors only being able to access and receive appropriate care when their mental health deteriorates to the point of requiring secondary mental health services (Women’s Aid 2021).  Meta analysis suggests that CBT, one of the NHS’s most prescribed approaches for mental ill-health, is not the best approach for domestic abuse survivors as it does not recognise and take into account the external factors and dynamics of abuse, specifically power and control, the role of the perpetrator and the resulting trauma for the survivor.

In March 2025, WT published its first major report, ‘Living Without Hope’ which consolidates existing and increasing academic, government and sector research demonstrating the significant impact of domestic abuse on women’s mental health. Outlining the current agency responses at national, regional and local levels and the gaps in provision; the report also makes recommendations for change and improvement across the VAWG and health sectors.

Building on the research highlighted in our ‘Living Without Hope’ report, WT has secured funding to work with key stakeholders in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to examine the links between domestic abuse and mental health, the specific experiences of Arab and Moroccan women and their access to safe, appropriate services that meet their needs.

Purpose

This is an exciting new role and will be focused on developing Woman’s Trust’s (WT) response to addressing the systemic issues female survivors of domestic abuse face when trying to access support.

Working with key stakeholders in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (LBKC) and specifically Al-Hasniya to ensure that professionals have a clearer understanding of the link between domestic abuse and mental health and its impact on survivors.

Contract & hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Fixed term as dependant on funding.

Location: Woman’s Trust premises including co-location with statutory partners and community partnership locations.

JOB PURPOSE

This role sits within The Passage Housing Needs Service (HNS) team. It will provide brief interventions to support individuals who have been placed into accommodation by the HNS team to settle into and sustain their tenancies. The post holder will work holistically to assist individuals to address issues that are impacting on their ability to sustain their accommodation on a time limited basis and will link them into services in their local areas for ongoing support in order for them to gain independence and integrate into their new communities.

MAIN TASKS

• To provide support to individuals who are moving into their new private rented sector accommodation where appropriate and needed. This can include setting up utilities, council tax among other things.
• To support individuals accommodated by the HNS team, in a brief solution focused manner, to find solutions to their housing, benefits, health and other issues when they arise, referring clients to support services, liaising with these, and following up in a timely manner.
• To establish and develop positive and constructive working relationships with a range of services and agencies across London boroughs that can provide support to our clients ensuring the best possible outcomes for them.
• To draw up psychologically informed action plans for clients ensuring they are person centered and taking into consideration the clients’ views.
• Support HNS Workers to complete exit questionnaires to gather feedback and promote co production with the individuals the team supports.
• To ensure that any health and safety and safeguarding concerns are reported appropriately using the correct systems.
• To assess any risk to clients, the environment and staff, record and communicate any risks identified using appropriate channels in the Passage.
• To ensure accurate and timely record keeping using the Inform database as well as client files and ensure all record keeping and information sharing is kept securely in line with Data protection.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• In conjunction with your Line Manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
• To participate in internal/external meetings as required, including Reflective Practice, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
• Support The Passage Resource Centre operations by undertaking shifts as required.

The LSE Students’ Union is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Operations. This is a newly created position, offering an exciting opportunity to take senior oversight of our central teams and ensure the effective delivery of our operational functions.
 

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide leadership and direction across finance, HR, governance, compliance, and risk management. Your work will underpin the Union’s ability to deliver its strategic objectives and maintain high standards of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence.
 

As Head of Operations, you will lead our finance and HR team, ensuring robust financial management, effective people practices, and strong governance frameworks. You will oversee budgeting, audits, and financial reporting, while promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Acting as a key adviser to the Board of Trustees and relevant committees, you will also manage risk and data protection across the organisation.

You'll support the Estates Manager in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented school environment. The role includes carrying out caretaking, cleaning and minor maintenance tasks, assisting with site security and supporting the smooth running of school activities and events.

You'll ensure the school grounds are clean, safe and well-maintained including litter-picking and daily visual checks of the playground and their equipment, recording this on SafetyCulture with evidence. You'll undertake minor repairs as needed and carry out day-to-day caretaking and cleaning duties as directed by the Estates Manager.

You will have:

• Practical skills in cleaning, basic maintenance and repair work
• Knowledge of IT and the ability to access databases to record information accurately
• Awareness of health and safety procedures and ability to apply regulations such as Manual Handling, COSHH, Water Hygiene etc
• Ability to organise workload and complete tasks to a high standard

Mencap’s vision is for the estimated 1.5 million people with a learning disability across the UK to get the best chance in life. This is a pivotal moment to join the charity as they launch their new five-year strategy, Mencap 2030, with this role central to delivering its ambitious vision in which people with a learning disability can live life to the full.

The Executive Director, Fundraising will play a key organisational leadership role - modelling Mencap’s values, contributing to cross‑organisational transformation and championing belonging, equity, diversity and inclusion. With fundraising central to the charity’s future growth, the postholder will drive a strategy designed to increase annual income from an average of £14m to £20m and beyond, building on recent high‑profile partnerships and investment across all fundraising channels.

The role requires an inspiring leader who can galvanise 7,500 colleagues behind a shared fundraising mission and authentically involve people with a learning disability in shaping fundraising approaches. The successful candidate will lead and motivate a high‑performing team, steward major corporate and individual relationships and ensure innovation, strong forecasting and long‑term income growth. As a full member of the Executive team, they will contribute to organisational leadership, governance and strategic decision‑making, working closely with the Chief Executive and Board.

The role requires a values‑led, impact‑driven leader with a strong record of cross‑organisational leadership, a proven ability to deliver ambitious, sustained fundraising growth and experience of aligning fundraising goals with wider organisational strategy. They must also be able to demonstrate values‑based leadership that promotes belonging, equity, diversity and inclusion, and which supports team wellbeing and drives high performance.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator, skilled at building high‑value relationships and engaging wider audiences through excellent stewardship. They will bring forward‑thinking insight into market trends, data‑driven decision‑making and the effective use of technology, including leading CRM implementation to enhance fundraising impact. This strategic role sits within Global Operations and works closely with colleagues in the UK, Uganda and Zambia to design, build and implement technology that improves organisational efficiency and supports high‑quality education delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of major technology initiatives, from scoping and user research through to implementation, rollout and evaluation.
• Manage product roadmaps, requirements, timelines and vendor partnerships to ensure effective delivery.
• Support development of PEAS’ future technology strategy, providing insight on emerging tools and trends.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts for technology projects, including proposal development and representation in funder meetings.
• Provide operational support on wider organisational improvement initiatives where relevant.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years in technology roles, ideally within international development, social enterprise or corporate settings.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder technology projects.
• Strong project management, communication and collaboration skills, able to work across technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Knowledge of software development approaches, databases, enterprise resource planning tools and data systems.
• Understanding of security, privacy and compliance frameworks such as GDPR.
• Experience working with international teams; Sub‑Saharan Africa experience desirable.
• Values‑driven, proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in fast‑moving environments.
