The role

The Role
The Corporate Partnerships Officer is a pivotal role in the Museum’s Corporate Partnerships team, and is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop from their first fundraising role or transfer skills from a sales/agency background into Museum fundraising. As a core member of this small, but impactful team, you will hone your skills in securing and delivering corporate sponsorship and memberships, contributing to the shared team financial target, and working closely with other teams and colleagues across the Museum.

Reporting to the Senior Manager: Development Business Operations, and working with all our fundraisers, the post holder will play a vital role in creating action led prospect pipelines.
Key responsibilities include the identification and assessment of new prospective donors to increase Royal Museums Greenwich's donor pool - based on a solid understanding of current projects and priorities. Prospect pipeline activity will be supported by detailed research profiles and due diligence, ensuring that fundraisers are informed and focussed and to ensure prospect cultivation actions and deadlines are regularly recorded, kept on track and on target.
The role is responsible for maintaining the department's systems, processes and data - always aware that effective management maximises income generation and donor engagement and always seeking improvement in these areas. This role has responsibility for day-to-day management of, and training on, the fundraising database: Blackbaud’s RE NXT. The database is a vital tool in recording fundraising opportunities and actions, recording gifts, stewardship and donor interactions with Royal Museums Greenwich. As such, a good understanding of data protection law and how it is applied will play a large part in this role.
The successful candidate will have a track record in successful research, an interest in the heritage sector, and will demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills. They will be able to work on their own initiative, as well as having an understanding of the importance of data management and how process improvement can lead to more efficient working.
This is a full-time, permanent role in Band 6 - Management and Competent Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm, with an additional hour to be worked as agreed upon with management. Occasional evening working will be required - as part of the wider team - to support fundraising events.

Aiming to break ground winter 2025 and reopen in spring 2028, First Light will affirm the Royal Observatory as THE centre for the public understanding and enjoyment of astronomy - a place of awe and wonder.
This is an exciting time to join the Development Team as we begin to plan a high-profile public campaign, seek to secure a principal gift to close the campaign and liaise with our ambassadors to build our reach and reputation.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager: Development Business Operations, the Campaign Manager, First Light will deliver vital fundraising activity in support of this capital campaign - working with colleagues to maximise fundraising opportunities, engage supporters and ensure the successful delivery of campaign events, communications and donor engagement activity.
Key responsibilities include to lead delivery of the First Light fundraising campaign to agreed objectives and timescales through the creation of fundraising materials and webpages and the delivery of a successful public fundraising campaign. The role will manage regular campaign communications for all stakeholders, co-lead on the organisation and delivery of a gala fundraising dinner in 2027 and coordinate major donor meetings and events for the campaign. There is also the opportunity to travel through the management of a fundraising visit to the USA in 2027.

This is a full-time, fixed term role until 30 June 2028 in Band 5 - Management and Proficient Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm, with an additional hour to be agreed upon with management. Occasional evening and weekend working will be required to ensure the successful delivery of First Light campaign events.
Salary: £38,568 per annum.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
As Training Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of CPD-accredited modern slavery training programmes for corporate partners, frontline professionals, businesses and public sector organisations. Working closely with the Modern Slavery Innovations Manager, Corporate Partnerships team and a Lived Experience Co-Facilitator, you will create impactful, survivor-informed training, guidance and resources that influence policy, strengthen organisational responses and generate sustainable income. You will be skilled at translating complex research, policy and legislation into clear, practical guidance and recommendations, with a strong understanding of modern slavery legislation, including the National Referral Mechanism, Home Office frameworks, and wider compliance requirements. We are seeking someone with excellent project, customer and stakeholder management experience, including managing corporate partnerships, delivering contractual commitments, and meeting challenging timelines. Strong organisational, administrative and budgeting skills are essential. A qualification in Training Delivery and sales or business development experience would be highly advantageous. Most importantly, you will be a collaborative relationship-builder with exceptional communication skills, a high standard of written and spoken English, and a willingness to travel across the UK to deliver impactful training that helps organisations identify, prevent and respond to modern slavery.

About the role
This coordinator role sits within our Mass Participation team in our Income Generation directorate. The role supports participants in mass participation events – both organised by third parties including the London Marathon or bespoke Shelter events that you will have responsibilities for.
The main objective of the co-ordinator role will be to deliver challenge and bespoke events, from planning and set up, pulling together financial budgets to meeting supporter recruitment and income targets through to the delivery of event day and evaluating results.
This role will give you the exciting opportunity to work on our busy third-party programme, enabling delivery of events including London Marathon, London Landmarks Half Marathon and the Hackney Half and support the development of new bespoke products.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a variety of mass participation events with the chance to be involved in event delivery, supporter stewardship and volunteer management for some of the most prestigious events in the charity calendar.
About you
You will enjoy collaborating and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and have experience designing and working across customer journeys with multiple touchpoints. You will bring strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work.
You will have a proven track record of delivering against financial targets, with experience in monitoring performance and reporting on progress.
