I am recruiting an interim Accounts Assistant to join a highly regarded finance team on an initial 3–6-month temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reviewing supplier statements and requesting missing documentation.
• Managing supplier and internal finance queries with professionalism.
• Monitor bank feeds, post incoming/outgoing transactions, and flag unexpected movements.
• Performing bank reconciliations for all outgoing payments.

Ideal experience:

• Previous experience in using Xero system is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience of assisting with VAT is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for managing supplier and internal relationships.

My client can offer fully remote working for the whole duration of the contract.
