Our Mass Participation team is growing! Join us as our new Senior Challenge Events Manager to provide strategic leadership to a successful and growing challenge events programme, helping drive ambitious income growth and shape the future of fundraising at Dementia UK.

In this exciting leadership role, you will lead a team of ten through two Challenge Events Managers, focusing on long-term strategy, innovation and sustainable growth. You'll build on the success of our established third-party events portfolio, while identifying opportunities to expand our DIY challenge events offering. With ambitious plans to grow income from £4 million to £6 million over five years, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy.

You will strengthen supporter engagement and develop a high-performing fundraising program. You'll oversee budgets, use data and insight to inform decisions, and lead digital marketing approaches that drive participant numbers and income. You'll also provide strategic direction and support to your managers, ensuring the team continues to deliver excellent results.

You are an experienced challenge events fundraising leader with a proven track record of growing income and managing high-performing teams, ideally including experience of managing managers. You'll bring strong strategic, commercial and analytical skills, alongside experience developing and delivering digital marketing campaigns, particularly through platforms such as Meta. As a confident and collaborative leader, you'll be comfortable using evidence and insight to identify opportunities, drive innovation and deliver ambitious growth.

Join Dementia UK at an exciting stage of growth and play a leading role in shaping the future of our challenge events programme, developing innovative fundraising opportunities and inspiring more supporters to make a difference for families affected by dementia.

This role is subject to a Basic DBS check.
