Youth Impact Advert

Permanent with funding until 31st March 2027 with potential to extend beyond this depending on funding

28 hours per week - preferably covering 5 days Mon-Fri 5 or 6 hours each day.

£18,505.60 pro rata (actual) / £23,132 FTE

Location: Hybrid working between home and Torquay office base

About the role:You'll play a key part in our Admin service at Check Point, delivering an efficient and high quality administrative service across the South West offices by undertaking clerical, reception and practical duties in accordance with The Children's Society's procedures.

We're looking for an experienced, conscientious and enthusiastic admin assistant with the ability to provide efficient and well-ordered administrative support to team colleagues, ensuring a high level of confidentiality is maintained, making a real impact in the lives of children and young people.

Key skills and experience:

The required skills and competencies for this role are:

-IT skills in Microsoft Office applications, eg Excel, Word, Outlook

-The ability to prioritise and manage own workload

-The ability to work both as part of a team and on own, as required

It would also be an advantage if you have any of the following skills and competencies:

-Experience with dealing with the public, especially young people

-Experience of maintaining accurate and confidential records

-Experience of assisting with production of reports
