Clinical Services Manager

Location: Finsbury Park, London, with limited travel outside London
Hours: 21 hours per week, with occasional out-of-hours work
Salary: £40,800 pro rata (21 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to: Director of Clinical Services

icap is looking for an experienced and committed Clinical Services Manager to join our team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced clinician with strong clinical management and people-management skills to deliver high-quality, accessible therapy to culturally sensitive services.

You will ensure clients receive a high-quality service from referral through to allocation and ongoing therapy.

You will be a senior clinical resource within the organisation, providing clinical consultation and guidance, particularly around risk and safeguarding.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and management 
• Oversee the client journey
• Provide senior clinical advice and consultation
• Support and develop our clinical teams

We are looking for:

• Full professional membership, registration and accreditation with UKCP, BPS, BPC, BACP or equivalent.
• At least five years’ post-qualification therapeutic experience with adults who have experienced childhood trauma.
• Experience of, and commitment to, working across different cultural contexts
• Working knowledge of CORE or similar
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and people-management skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Up to date with legislation, safeguarding and clinical governance requirements.
• An understanding of Irish history, culture, identity and the experiences of Irish communities.

Desirable

Training in additional therapeutic approaches such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, IFT, EMDR or Integrative Counselling.
