Are you an experienced Project Manager with proven experience in property or estates project management? Have you successfully delivered large-scale installations or fit-out projects?
We’re excited to be recruiting a Property Project Manager to help lead one of the most impactful installation programmes in our Retail division. This fixed‑term role will take a central position in delivering the rollout of vital medical equipment (defibs) across our 670+ BHF retail locations, a project that will directly strengthen the safety and resilience of our shops, customers, volunteers and colleagues.
You’ll combine hands‑on project delivery with strategic oversight, working closely with teams across Retail, Estates and Property, as well as our external partners. Your leadership will ensure installations are delivered smoothly on time and within budget, while keeping disruption to retail operations to a minimum.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high‑profile programme that supports our mission and makes a meaningful difference across our estate.
You’ll deliver a full range of Project Manager services including:
- Managing end-to-end delivery of installations projects, from planning to completion.
- Developing and controlling project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborating with internal teams (Retail, Estates, Facilities, Finance) and external contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Ensuring all works comply with health and safety legislation, building regulations, and BHF policies.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks, resolving issues promptly.
- Providing regular progress reports to senior leadership, including KPIs and strategic alignment.
- Overseeing project documentation and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
About you
We are looking for someone with proven experience in property or estates project management, ideally in a multi-site environment, such as retail. You'll have a demonstrable track record of delivering large-scale installation, fit-out or similar programmes, from planning to completion.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A qualification or relevant experience in Project Management, Construction, Surveying or related field, with membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS) being desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project, Asana).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of building regulations, lease management, and health & safety compliance.
- Experience delivering large-scale installations or fit-out projects.
- Experience managing budgets and working with multiple stakeholders.
Working arrangements
Please note this is a 10 month fixed-term contract. This role will be home based and there will be some travel to our sites and office locations for meetings as needed.

As a Health & Safety Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in dealing with the day-to-day administration of the BHF's online incident/accident reporting system (Alcumus) and ensure that all case workflows are escalated when necessary and followed through to completion.
You'll be the team’s first point of contact answering health and safety enquiries whilst also supporting the wider health and safety team on other administrative projects as and when required.
You'll also be responsible for ensuring that the Health & Safety Teams Safety Management System is maintained and updated where necessary.
About you
We are looking for a well-organised administrator with strong communication skills and high competency in MS Office.
To excel in this role, you will:
- Be skilled in using databases or case management systems to track work.
- Demonstrate experience in gathering information, following up on actions, keeping documentation up-to-date, and using data for reporting.
- Have experience in a fast-paced, dynamic team with changing priorities, working both independently and as part of a team, confidently escalating concerns when needed.
- Become a process expert, ensuring best practices are adhered to.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage all stakeholders professionally and promptly.

About the role
In this role you’ll have responsibility for the end-to-end change life cycle, leading the people side of change connected to Enterprise Foundations, including changes to ways of working and cultural change.
You’ll work with stakeholders to solve complex challenges, guiding and influencing them through critical transformation. You’ll also provide change leadership that enables these stakeholders to achieve their transformation goals and better deliver their strategic objectives.
Leading on organisational design and operating model change connected to Enterprise Foundations, you’ll ensure that it is resourced appropriately and linking it to other organisational design work across BHF.
You’ll also liaise with Transformation Directors, our Head of Organisational Change, Head of Internal Communications, People Business Partners and the team to support our People Experience, Technology strategy and the delivery of BHF’s strategy to 2030 – a key aspect of which is delivering technology transformation through the Enterprise Foundations programme.
Working arrangements
Please note this is a 9-12 month fixed term contract covering family leave.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
About you
You’ll have previous experience influencing stakeholders and gaining buy-in to change, communication and engagement activities. You’ll also be able to create and implement change plans that are tailored to the needs of Enterprise Foundations, enabling the successful transition to new ways of working.
With a Post Graduate qualification in organisational change/business change/behaviour, or equivalent experience, you’ll have previous knowledge and application of change models and organisational design principles, being able to identify the cultural shift needed to achieve strategic technology transformation, translating that into interventions to deliver and embed behaviour and culture change.
Able to work with senior leaders you’ll be able to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders which support behavioural change to enable successful technology transformation is essential.
You'll have a passion for solving complex business challenges, and will have strong problem-solving skills being able to exercise mature judgement, flexing plans where necessary to achieve impact.
To be successful in this role, you’ll also have:
- Project management experience
- Previous experience of developing and implementing organisational design programmes
- Experience of supporting culture change programmes that adopt new ways of working.

As our Senior Heart Stories Officer, you’ll play a key role in gathering, shaping and safeguarding the reallife stories that sit at the heart of BHF’s mission. You’ll lead on complex briefs, support colleagues across the organisation and ensure every story is handled with care, accuracy and respect. This is a chance to use your craft to make a genuine difference, helping connect millions of people to the cause and keeping families together for longer.
You’ll be managing a busy caseload, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality story products, whilst tailoring them for a range of platforms. You will also be maintaining the Heart Stories Management system, triaging story requests, support the Heart Story Operations Manager and collaborate across a wide range of BHF teams and stakeholders.
About you
To succeed as our Senior Stories Officer. you will bring a combination of the following:
- Experience as a journalist or in a communications role either in house or agency, with journalistic ability to ask the right questions and uncover the ‘real’ story.
- Strong understanding of what makes a compelling human-interest story and how to shape it for different audiences and platforms.
- Proven interviewing skills, with the ability to speak sensitively with people sharing difficult or personal experiences.
- Experience of identifying, writing and editing compelling stories.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with confidence working with colleagues and case studies at all levels.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.
- Experience of copywriting for varied audiences whilst demonstrating sound judgement on tone, messaging, confidentiality, safeguarding and clinical accuracy.
- Emotional resilience and empathy when working with sensitive or challenging narratives.
- Understanding of safeguarding, informed consent, confidentiality and GDPR.

As our Senior New Business Manager, you will help deliver our ambitious growth strategy by securing high value, six and seven figure, new partnerships across sectors with strong long-term potential.
You will take ownership of a number of priority sectors and build a strong pipeline of opportunities. This includes strategic, commercial, Charity of the Year and employee fundraising partnerships. You will lead the full new business cycle, from researching prospects and shaping compelling propositions to presenting to senior decision makers and negotiating agreements.
You’ll work closely with colleagues in across the BHF, including Account Management, Commercial, Marketing and Health Partnership Programmes to ensure opportunities are aligned and to provide a seamless handover once new partners come on board. You will also line manage one team member and play a supportive role across the wider New Business function.
We’ve built powerful partnerships with organisations such as Tesco, Sky Bet, PureGym, Omaze and Royal Mail, and this role will play a key part in shaping the next wave of transformational collaborations.
About you
As our ideal candidate you can hit the ground running. You bring substantial experience of securing new, multiyear corporate partnerships with a six and seven figure income focus and have a strong track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious targets. You know how to uncover opportunities across a mix of sectors and turn them into long-term value.
You’re confident presenting to senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders. You’re a strong communicator who builds trusted relationships quickly both internally and externally.
You have experience of the full sales cycle. You also understand how to navigate contracting discussions and manage complex negotiations.
You’re proactive, commercially minded and able to identify opportunities that deliver impact beyond income from brand reach to strategic influence.

As Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll lead, inspire, and coach our Marketing Fundraising Operations Team, who support colleagues across the Mass Fundraising Acquisition Marketing (MFAM) and Retention and Customer Journeys (RCJ) teams.
You’ll help shape high-performing systems and processes, ensuring everyone achieves their objectives and key results while driving innovation and collaboration.
Working closely with managers, you’ll provide resourcing oversight, drive forward strategic projects with operational excellence, and ensure consistency across teams, fostering a culture that celebrates opportunity-spotting and continuous improvement.

About you
We’re looking for a motivated individual with strong knowledge of acquisition and retention marketing, fundraising legislation, sector policy and finance processes.
You can lead, coach and motivate a small high-performing Operations team, developing strategies that align with our organisational goals. Your collaborative approach enables you to communicate complex ideas clearly, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and influence outcomes.
As an experienced operational manager, your project management skills include scoping, design, delivery and evaluation, with the ability to analyse data to drive continuous improvement. You’ll be comfortable using relationship and financial management systems and have a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You thrive when managing multiple projects, setting priorities and using your judgement to achieve results.

Working arrangements
This is a fixed term contract until November 2026, covering an internal secondment. Start date is as soon as possible.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one to two days per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

As a Store Manager you will be accountable for your stores performance, maximising sales through physical and digital channels, and achieving store targets by leading an inclusive and diverse team that consistently demonstrate the BHF values .

Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week which means we require flexibility from our store teams to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
