Following our recent transition to the Royal College of Pharmacy we are looking to appoint a Director of Strategic Communications and Engagement to provide leadership and delivery of our communications, brand and member engagement strategies.
This appointment comes at a pivotal time for the college, as we build on our strong foundations and further establish ourselves as the recognised professional home for pharmacy.

Key Accountabilities:
Develop and lead the college’s integrated communications strategy across all channels.
Ensure the college has a strong and influential voice, with powerful messaging that resonates with its members, pharmacy professionals, government, public and other stakeholders.
Lead a clear engagement strategy to improve member experience, acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
Safeguard and strengthen the college’s brand, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all channels and safeguarding the use of the brand with partnership arrangements.
Shape and contribute to the development and delivery of the college's overall strategy as a member of the executive Team.
Person Specification:
Executive level leadership and team management experience gained in a complex, public or third sector organization, ideally within a membership body or royal college and/or with healthcare experience
Proven track record of developing and implementing communications and engagement strategies that drive measurable membership and income growth
Experience of strategy development, implementation and evaluation, ideally as part of a senior leadership team, translating the outcomes into a communications strategy and supporting the organisation to monitor impact.
Ability to convert organisational goals into clear communications and engagement strategies.

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:
Co-design and deliver initiatives: Collaborate with the IOP and wider partner teams (Royal Society of Chemistry and Science Made Simple) to deliver core project activities including:
Professional development delivery: Deliver evidence-based CPD, mentoring, and coaching to support practitioners, particularly early-career and out-of-field teachers, to build subject knowledge and confidence in teaching physics in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
Equity and inclusion: Contribute to equity-focused interventions that explore and address systemic and school-level barriers to post-16 physics participation, including unconscious bias and science capital gaps.
Monitoring and reporting: Track and evaluate programme delivery, capturing data on participation, feedback, outcomes, and impact. Contribute to quarterly monitoring reports and support external evaluation.
Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools in Wales, education stakeholders, and fellow partners. Represent the IOP in local networks and act as a regional champion for physics education.
Continuous learning: Develop and maintain your expertise in science education, curriculum reform, inclusion strategies, and subject-specific pedagogy to ensure interventions are current, effective, and aligned with practitioners' needs.

The Head of Education Change leads Pillar 3: Education Change, the branch of REUK dedicated to systemic transformation. Currently, the UK education systems lack overarching policy frameworks to support the integration of refugee learners, and there are key evidence gaps in what works best in education for refugee children. School leaders and teachers want to help, but lack the needed training and support. Good practice is often hidden and the expertise of young refugees is not considered in policy making.
As the Head of Education Change, you will be responsible for bridging these gaps. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to influence national policies, improve educational practices, and ensure that the expertise of young refugees is at the heart of decision-making. Your remit will span research and policy, advocacy, youth leadership, and training/capacity building to ensure that the good practice currently hidden in pockets of the UK becomes the standard across the board. This is a role for a strategic and humble leader who believes in working with, not just for, those with lived experience.

The Role
We are looking for an Evaluation & Research Officer to join our Data and Impact team at STEM Learning. This role plays a key part in ensuring that our programmes and projects are evaluated effectively, realistically, and in line with best practice, enabling us to demonstrate impact and continuously improve our offer.
Working closely with programme management colleagues, you will design and implement evaluations, ensuring relevant data is collected, analysed and interpreted. You will produce clear, high-quality outputs for both internal and external audiences, supporting learning, accountability, and impact reporting.
You will also contribute to external evaluations, liaising with external evaluators where required, and help embed evidence-informed practice across the organisation. A key part of the role is sourcing, reviewing and synthesising external research and sector evidence to strengthen STEM Learning’s evaluation approaches, findings and impact claims.

We're looking for two Partnerships Coordinators to develop and manage relationships with employers, technology organisations, universities, activity providers, and volunteers who can support delivery of the TechFirst programme.
Working as part of a regional delivery team, you will help create a vibrant network of partners who provide inspiring activities, industry insights, mentoring, volunteering, and career-related learning opportunities for young people.

The Role
You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and supporting employer and delivery partners across the region.
Working closely with the Education Engagement Coordinator and Events and Communications Officer, you will ensure schools have access to a wide range of high-quality activities, volunteers, speakers, mentors, and industry experiences.
You will build long-term partnerships that contribute to programme growth, quality, and impact.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will have experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, account management, or business engagement.
You will be confident engaging with employers and external stakeholders, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised and proactive, you will be comfortable managing multiple partnerships and identifying opportunities to increase engagement and impact.
