About the job
The role of Families Project Worker involves supporting a caseload of families living in temporary accommodation. The role requires a combination of specialist knowledge and excellent relationship building skills to support residents with varying degrees of mental health and trauma related issues to engage with appropriate support, improve their experience of temporary accommodation and to access suitable housing solutions.
The role is dependent on excellent communication and joint working with colleagues and a variety of partners and professionals; including the NHS, Probation Service, local council services and other third sector organisations.
The role requires a high degree of motivation to support complex and vulnerable people, often in a lone-working situation. With a passion to work collaboratively with others for the good of our service users, and with some experience of working in a related field in a voluntary or paid capacity.
A high degree of emotional intelligence is required to support service users, many of whom have complex emotional needs, with backgrounds of trauma, neglect, abuse, crime and low self-worth. A role of this nature will experience a range of emotions from joy to grief and as such requires a high degree of resilience to cope with the emotional demands of the role.
Making decisions, “in the moment” to do the right thing to mitigate risk with service users can place high emotional demands on the job holder. The role is highly reactive, unpredictable and at times, chaotic. The role therefore requires a high degree of self-awareness to one’s own resilience levels and exercising appropriate levels of self-care.

Their stay isn’t temporary, they are likely to be suffering with deteriorating mental and physical health, becoming victims of crime, losing control of their life and even dying prematurely. Justlife delivers impactful services in Greater Manchester and Brighton & Hove, supporting and empowering people experiencing homelessness in temporary accommodation. We also drive positive system change across the national temporary accommodation sector, convening those with a common interest; people with lived experience, landlords, charities, local and national government, and carrying out research and gathering insights.

- Deliver interventions and support for families in a warm, caring and flexible way, including:
- Supporting them to engage with support services to improve and maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.

The Senior Product Officer will work in the Engagement and Fundraising Directorate, responsible for all fundraising from individuals at the NSPCC. The Legacies and Products team sits within this d irectorate and is responsible fo r management and innovation across the products portfolio. Reporting to the Fundraising Products Manager - this role will be responsible for overseeing the development, fulfilment, and delivery of the NSPCC’s new and existing fundraising products, helping us achieve the highest levels of engagement from both new supporters.
The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of our Regular Giving programme, Online Shop, Weekly Lottery and Raffle, Payroll Giving scheme, Sponsor A Call, development of new fundraising products but may work on other projects and products as required.

Job purpose
- To support the Fundraising Manager or lead on, the development, delivery and innovation of new and existing fundraising products and propositions
- To work closely with a range of internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure all products are developed and fulfilled to the highest standard

- To draft informative papers, business cases and strategy documents which support and articulate product objectives

Main duties and responsibilities
1. Work with the Fundraising Manager and Associate Head of Legacies and Products, to develop and deliver new and existing fundraising products

3. To be responsible for development and delivery of product development roadmaps and project level management information for products new and existing products

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Grants & Impact Team, overseeing grant giving and grant management processes within Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
A senior member of the Grants Team, the post holder will manage Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s grant awarding process, providing approximately £5m of grant awards to the Alder Hey NHS Foundation Trust (the ‘Trust’) per year, with ambitions for significant growth.
The Grants Manager will help develop and implement multi-year strategies to support the identification of fundraising needs and grant requirements. In doing so, the post holder will work closely with both Trust colleagues and our charity fundraising and marketing teams.
The post holder will report to the Director of Grants & Impact (DoG&I) and line manage the Senior Grants Officer and Grants Officer.
Main Duties/Tasks:
Strategic Planning, Financial Management & Reporting
- Work collaboratively with the DoG&I to develop and implement strategic, multi-year plans and budgets.
- Monitor progress against strategic plans, budgets, Key Performance Indicators and produce reports for key meetings such as the Charitable Spending Committee.
- Work with the Trust to identify upcoming funding requirements. Support the development of funding priorities, proposals and projects in line with the strategic direction of the Trust and Charity.
- Support the development of internal and external partnerships in line with our strategic plans and priorities.
Grant Applications & Awards
- Develop and oversee the grants application process, ensuring it aligns with the charitable spending strategy and is accessible to all applicants across the Trust.
- Manage the grants awards process, ensuring that applications are reviewed and approved in line in a timely manner within the agreed authority levels.
- Support grant applicants through the process, linking them with the relevant fundraising team and other colleagues where appropriate.

About the Role:
As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting services where extra capacity is needed, working across different locations including Exeter, Somerset, Mendip, and Weymouth. This is a varied and dynamic role, offering the opportunity to work across supported housing and outreach services, with no two weeks looking the same.
You’ll work directly with people who have a range of support needs, building positive, professional relationships and providing person‑centred, trauma‑informed support. This includes offering practical help, promoting independence, and responding flexibly to individual circumstances in a fast‑paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is well organised, and can adapt to changing priorities and locations. You’ll need to be a driver with access to your own vehicle and business insurance, and be comfortable working flexibly, with rotas provided two weeks in advance and occasional last‑minute changes handled considerately.
What you’ll be doing:
- Give clients advice and information, providing an enabling service so that they can be signposted to, and access appropriate services.
- Maintain client records, so they are accurate and fully updated at all times.
- Ensure all clients are provided with high-quality person-centred services which takes a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.
- Work collaboratively taking a multi-agency approach to safeguard clients.

This UK Government-funded programme is part of a nationwide effort to reduce economic inactivity and promote inclusive workplaces.
Connect to Work is a personalised Supported Employment programme that pairs eligible individuals with dedicated Employment Advisors.
About the Role
We are seeking four highly motivated, organised and compassionate Employment Advisors, to deliver the countywide Connect To Work programme in our new Employment workstream. In this highly rewarding role, you will be responsible supporting individuals experiencing mental health problems, and those facing complex barriers, to secure and sustain meaningful paid employment.
This position is part of the Connect to Work programme — a voluntary Supported Employment initiative funded by the Department for Work and Pensions. You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, offering tailored advice and guidance to individuals, while also building strong partnerships with local employers to create opportunities aligned with individuals’ skills and aspirations.
As an Employment Advisor you will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to meet individuals regularly to understand an individual’s skills, strengths and goals; developing clear action plans; provide practical support; and co-create personalised action plans.
The programme provides structured, 1:1 and group based person centred support to build confidence, motivation and resilience, to help individuals work towards clear, work related goals.
You will also engage with employers to identify suitable opportunities, arrange interviews, and offer ongoing support to both individuals and employers to promote successful job retention; whilst advocating for individuals to de-stigmatise mental health.
You may also work with a small number of individuals who are already in work to sustain and thrive in their employment.
As an Employment Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Delivering effective 1:1 and group person centred employment support to individuals looking for work

About you
