Events at the Bristol premises include exhibitions, talks, screenings, symposia and workshops, whilst further afield the RPS delivers touring exhibitions and workshops, in addition to hundreds of activities managed by our member volunteers.

About the Role
The Intensive Engagement Hub is an innovative new pilot service, run in partnership with Westminster City Council.
You will have the chance to be part of this exciting new approach to engage people experiencing rough sleeping who are furthest from help.
As part of a small team, you will work intensively with people rough sleeping in Westminster whose physical and mental health, and engagement with services is creating a persistent barrier to their full assessment and plan to move into stable accommodation.

As part of our annual leave policy, all employees receive three additional days of annual leave on top of their standard allocation of 25 days. These days are designated to cover the period when our UK office closes between Christmas and New Year, allowing all UK WaterAiders to take a well-deserved break.
These days are automatically scheduled and cannot be changed or moved. Annual leave is accrued based on your start date. If sufficient leave has not been accrued by the time of the closure, the 3 days will be taken as unpaid leave or pro-rated, depending on your circumstances.

We’re looking for a Managing Director to lead the next chapter of the Thin Blue Paw Foundation, shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of a fast-growing national charity dedicated to protecting, celebrating and rehabilitating serving and retired police dogs across the United Kingdom.
As the organisation’s sole employee, you will be at the heart of everything we do, driving strategy, operations, marketing & communications, and fundraising with autonomy, ownership, and purpose. You will take responsibility for the charity’s day-to-day running, long-term planning, and the delivery of initiatives that improve the welfare and care of serving and retired police dogs, including through our newly established National Association of Police Dog Handlers.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, trustees, partners, and the policing community, and you will ensure that our operational processes, beneficiary support, campaigns, and income generation all run smoothly and effectively.
The role requires flexibility, including attending events, ceremonies, and engagements across evenings and weekends each month. You’ll work closely with our Board of Trustees and volunteers, collaborating to ensure the Foundation continues to grow sustainably while staying true to its mission.

About the role
This role is accountable for playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of safe, high-quality safeguarding processes, procedures, reporting systems across Galop. It is also entrusted with reporting to the board, promoting a culture of safeguarding and learning from safeguarding incidents.
This is a high-impact and strategically significant position, ensuring the development and enhancement of safeguarding frameworks.
The post-holder will act as the organisation’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, with the Director of Services continuing to hold the Designated Safeguarding Lead role. The post-holder will also work closely with Heads of Service, service managers, senior leadership, trustees, and teams across the organisation to foster a culture in which safeguarding is deeply embedded and consistently prioritised.
This role holds the responsibility for delivering high quality operations, quality assuring and working on key cases
Due to the nature of the role, regular evening and weekend work may be required. Hybrid working is available, but it is anticipated that this role will be required to regularly work and attend meetings in the Galop building in central London.
