The Junction is an out of hours service, open 365 evenings a year 4pm-11pm, to support and assist individuals experiencing a mental health concern. The aim is to alleviate the need for people in the Swindon locality to access A&E acute mental health services and primary care GP services unnecessarily by managing the presenting symptoms/mental health crisis along with the triggers and context for that crisis.

Working pattern includes every other weekend and working hours are 16:00-23:00.

What does this job do?
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the successful candidate will:

• a fixed term contract until February 2027 (both part-time and full-time applications considered) based in the London office, predominantly London based teams, but with some travel.

Could this be you?
Ideally qualified to CIPD level 7 (or with equivalent experience), you will have previously worked in a similar role and will have a proven track record of resolving key people issues through a thorough understanding of departmental activities, and tailoring advice to managers.  You will have significant experience in successfully resolving a wide variety of complex ER issues with the ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships, as well as also the ability to communicate complex and sensitive information to diverse audiences.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

The purpose of the role is to support the Bishops of Manchester, Peterborough, and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich in their duties as Members of the House of Lords. The work includes research and information gathering, drafting speeches and questions, managing meetings, appointments and other events on behalf of the Bishops and such other work as they and the Head of Parliamentary Affairs may require from time to time.
The Parliamentary and Policy Researcher's priorities and tasks will be determined by the Bishops, with whom the postholder will be expected to have frequent direct contact along with their key advisers. In conjunction with their offices, the Head of Parliamentary Affairs will manage, guide and oversee the parliamentary work of the postholder.
The postholder's working time will be divided equally between the three Bishops. Flexibility in the working pattern will be required, depending on the respective requirements of each, their commitments in the House of Lords, including duty weeks.
The work of the Bishops in the House of Lords is guided by their policy and local interests, as well as their status as religious leaders with a national profile.
Policy interests:
- The Bishop of Manchester is the Convener of the Lords Spiritual. In this role, he chairs meetings of the Lords Spiritual, liaises with bodies within the House of Lords and the House of Commons, and works closely with the Parliamentary Unit at Church House. His areas of interest include housing and homelessness, crime and policing, international trade, and regional issues impacting Manchester and the North-west.
- Bishop of Peterborough's areas of interest include Children and Young People, Education, and Health and Social Care.
- Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich was the lead Bishop for Safeguarding in the National Church before translating to the diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, and remains deputy Safeguarding Lead. She also has an interest in media and justice issues.

As such the post may be well suited to someone who has particular experience of or interest in these areas of policy.
From time to time the postholder may also be called upon to add capacity to the Parliamentary Team by providing resource to other Lords Spiritual on policy areas they have become familiar with in their work for the Bishops of Manchester, Peterborough, and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich.
The postholder will need to have access to the Parliamentary Estate, so will be required to apply for a security pass sponsored by one of the employing Bishops, and will be expected to abide by the rules and codes set by Parliament that accompany the issuing of a pass. The postholder will also have access to the facilities offered to Lambeth Palace and other NCI staff, observing the responsibilities and protocols which apply to all.
The balance between parliamentary tasks and those that relate to the Bishops' diocesan roles is likely to vary depending on the parliamentary cycle.
The Parliamentary and Policy Researcher will be based with the Parliamentary Team. This is located at Lambeth Palace, London, SE1 7JU (within the Church of England's wider Faith and Public Life Team), and at Church House, Westminster, SW1P 3AZ. As Foodbank Services Lead, you’ll play a key part in ensuring Oldham Foodbank runs smoothly and consistently, supporting people in crisis with dignity and care.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role, working alongside the Foodbank Manager to coordinate day-to-day service delivery. You’ll support and organise our volunteers, oversee the smooth running of our warehouse and deliveries, and help ensure our systems, standards and processes are followed well.

You’ll be based mainly at our warehouse, working closely with volunteer teams including drivers, pickers, admin and warehouse volunteers. While you won’t be doing everything yourself, you’ll be ready to step in when needed and lead by example.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. 

We are now recruiting an IPS Employment Advisor to join our Connect to Work service across Enfield. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, following the principles of the IPS model to support people into paid employment. 

What you’ll be doing 

If you were working with us, your days would be varied and people-centred. You would manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs, people experiencing homelessness, and people with offending histories, offering one-to-one support to help them secure and sustain employment that matches their preferences. 

You would provide person-centred guidance using the IPS approach (training is provided), helping clients build confidence, prepare for work, and navigate challenges that may arise. A key part of the role involves engaging employers, promoting the value of our service, and identifying suitable job opportunities.

You would work closely with NHS clinical teams, contributing to an integrated approach to recovery through employment. This includes attending team meetings, coordinating support, and maintaining clear, client-led communication. The role also involves working to agreed targets while maintaining a high-quality, supportive service. 

What you’ll need 

You do not need previous employment support experience. What matters most is that you bring: 

• A genuine desire to support people with mental health support needs and/or learning disabilities to achieve their employment goals. 

• Motivation to help people from all backgrounds move into meaningful work. 

• Confidence speaking with a wide range of people, from clients to employers. 

• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to multitask and manage your workload. 

• Willingness to learn the IPS model and become confident approaching employers.

In this role you will lead the tutors, empowering and enabling them to deliver high quality support for our students by setting high standards for work and reflecting this to our external partners through effective communication, evidencing outcomes that are in line with, and exceed, contractual requirements. Additionally, you will complete all time critical evidencing for the site and monitor and feedback on the supporting documentation from tutors and students, while actively promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment in which all individuals feel valued and respected.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the site
• Liaising with external organisations and stakeholders
• Recruitment of new members
• Management of staff, through regular appraisals and by setting SMART goals

Person Specification 

• Strong leadership skills to motivate, support, and manage staff effectively
• Experience in an education/alternative provision setting, ideally as a DDSL
• Ability to set clear goals and support staff development
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong time-management and ability to prioritise
• Clear and confident verbal and written communicator with good attention to detail
• Financial and budgeting planning skills
• Current understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles
• Confidence in handling challenges calmly and professionally, with previous experience in conflict resolution
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email

Responsibilities of our Corporate Partnerships Account Manager:

• This is a key role within the Corporate Partnerships team. We work with a range of valued corporate partners and have ambitious plans to grow sustainable net income each year enabling Cats Protection to help the thousands of cats that need us. This role is key to the Partnerships Team achieving its income targets by providing high quality account management for current partners, partner engagement and excellent stewardship.
• The role is responsible for account managing and developing existing corporate partnerships, supporting the implementation of the corporate partnerships fundraising plan and increasing sustainable net income for Cats Protection.
• Please note, this role will likely have one line report in the future

About the Corporate Partnerships team:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate.
• The corporate partnerships team is split between new business and account management, made up of driven, passionate and dynamic corporate fundraisers.
• We currently have a team of one full time Corporate Partnerships Manager, a Corporate Partnerships Account Manager and a Corporate Partnerships Officer, in addition to a Lead Corporate Partnerships Manager who oversees the entire corporate partnerships team.
• You will be managed by the Corporate Partnerships Manager.

What we are looking for in our Corporate Partnerships Account Manager:

• Significant experience in charity fundraising
• Significant corporate partnership account management experience
• Extensive experience of developing strong relationships with supporters/ clients/colleagues
• Experience of developing bespoke propositions/presentations/proposals
• Experience of using a CRM database
• Strong understanding of corporate fundraising principles, practices and processes, including ethical screening, VAT and logo use

• Flexible to travel with occasional evening and weekend working for events
