Clinical Manager (Psychotherapy) £38,000 pro rata, 28 hours per week

The Clinical Manager will be a member of Respond’s Midlands team delivering therapeutic trauma informed services across the region. You will support Midlands Transforming Care Partnerships to enable people with learning disabilities, autism or both subject to long-stay hospitalisation under the Mental Health Act to return to their local community.
Line managing therapists, you will undertake a range of clinical work including case management and provide clinical supervision, reflective practice groups, consultation and training for a wide range of clinicians, professionals and care staff externally.

Primary Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Policy Advisor to join our dynamic and well-respected Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Team.
We want to ensure people affected by dementia benefit from progress in research, by providing evidence and insights to influence decision-makers. This ranges from making the case to increase investment in dementia research, embedding the concept of brain health with key decision makers, supporting new ways to diagnose the diseases that cause dementia, through to preparing health systems to be ready for future dementia treatments.
We work closely with key stakeholders, including government and other decision makers, to shape policy on dementia prevention, research and access to future treatments.
At a historic time in the field, with the first drugs that tackle Alzheimer’s becoming available, this is a fantastic opportunity for the post-holder to develop specialist knowledge, working closely with the Policy Manager, and to contribute to significant projects that can change the future of dementia.
We are offering a permanent, full-time position with a focus on the dementia research environment and regulation, including health technology appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:

Terms

Fruit & Nut Village plans to expand operations to include more parts of the city in its work. The current four “Fruit & Nut Villages” based in South Birmingham are soon set to be joined by new neighbourhoods in East Birmingham. Investment in these areas is planned to increase over the coming years with additional staff, resources and partnerships being brought to this part of the city. By 2040 the charity hopes to be operating across the entire city of Birmingham.
This opportunity is aimed towards 16 to 30 year olds wishing to improve their employability in the field of community food-growing.
The purpose of these roles is to train two individuals in community organising, the safe management of community greenspace sessions and perennial food-growing techniques. These roles are offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Subject to organisational needs, funding and performance, we hope that successful trainees will have the opportunity to continue their journey with Fruit & Nut Village beyond the initial training period.
We are especially interested in hearing from people living in areas of Birmingham where community food-growing is not already taking place or is only taking place at a low level, such as individuals living in “East Birmingham” as defined by Birmingham City Council.
Through a combination of hands-on experience, mentoring and training, trainees will develop their skills in the following, plus other, areas:
Fruit tree planting, fruit tree pruning, fruit tree grafting, other plant propagation techniques, forest garden management, sheet mulching and other ground preparation techniques, community engagement, health and safety, supporting community members in their lives, safe tool use and volunteer management.

What you’ll bring:
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using IT software including Microsoft Office.
- Experience of serving customers and/or supporters.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases and managing financial processes would be beneficial, but training will be provided.
- Knowledge of any of the following areas would be beneficial but training will be provided: fundraising, marketing, gifts in wills and in-memory giving.

The Network Development & Assurance (ND&A) capability is dedicated to cultivating a purpose-driven, impactful, resilient, and sustainable network of member organisations. We work collaboratively with LCAs to improve outcomes for clients and communities, strengthening their ability to deliver high-quality, accessible services.
ND&A is made up of four specialist departments:

As part of the Network Finance team, you will play a central role in supporting the financial governance, sustainability, and strategic planning of local Citizens Advice organisations across England and Wales.
What you’ll do
- Build strong, proactive relationships with LCA COs and Boards to understand their financial landscape and support effective decision-making.
- Provide tailored financial advice, insight, and challenge to help LCAs build robust plans and avoid financial deterioration.
- Conduct financial health assessments, identify emerging risks, and support LCAs to develop appropriate responses.
- Offer both proactive and reactive support, including advice around crisis prevention and stabilisation where needed.
- Contribute to the development of tools, guidance, and resources that strengthen financial capability across the wider network.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across ND&A and the wider organisation to ensure a coordinated approach to network support and assurance.
