Job description

Psychotherapist / Creative Therapist  £28,560 pro rata, 21 hours per week.

We invite applications for an exciting opportunity to join a new and developing service at our office in central Birmingham and working from home until our current Covid-19 policy changes.

The therapist will join Respond’s Midlands team delivering therapeutic trauma informed services across the region. You will undertake a range of clinical work including case management and provide clinical supervision, reflective practice groups, consultation and training for a wide range of clinicians, professionals and care staff externally.

This unique opportunity may well be the next step in your career advancement with a commitment from Respond to support and develop your skills in all areas of the role, including your knowledge of trauma and its impact of people with a learning disability, autism or both.

About us: Respond is a small national charity with offices in London and Birmingham providing specialised community support for children and adults with learning disabilities, autism or both who have experienced abuse or trauma.

The heart of our work is psychotherapy and through the many years of our development we have become experts in understanding and working with trauma. This guides the range of services we provide.
