As we continue to grow and strengthen our reach, we are looking for an experienced and visionary Digital Marketing Manager to join us on a 12-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident digital leader with a proven track record in shaping strategy, planning impactful campaigns, and driving digital performance. You will lead our digital activity across The Royal Star & Garter Group, managing a talented team and using data-driven insight to increase recruitment, fundraising and legacy marketing activity. You will also play a central role in ensuring the seamless digital marketing integration of Care for Veterans into the Group.

Purpose of the role

· To lead the development and delivery of our digital marketing engagement strategy, ensuring activity supports organisational priorities and drives growth.

· To plan and manage integrated digital marketing campaigns that achieve objectives in recruitment, occupancy, and fundraising, supported by strong data insight and analysis.

· To manage the digital marketing integration of Care for Veterans into The Royal Star & Garter Group,

· To create and manage high-quality digital content and copy that brings our brand to life, engaging and inspiring our audiences.

Key responsibilities

Strategy & planning

· Develop and manage a coherent digital marketing roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation, growth, and improved user experience.

· Develop digital audience development strategies that strengthen engagement, conversion, and retention across multiple channels.

· To manage the digital marketing integration of Care for Veterans into The Royal Star & Garter Group, ensuring alignment of websites, social media platforms, messaging, and audience engagement.

· Ensure our digital marketing activity supports and enhances the brand strategy and customer journeys identified for specific audiences.

Campaigns & digital delivery

· Lead on the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact digital marketing campaigns for staff recruitment, fundraising, and occupancy.

· Direct the creation of compelling digital content, including video, photography, and written assets, that reflect our values and engage diverse audiences including  supporters, residents, families, and staff across all channels.

· Manage all paid digital marketing activity, including search, display, and social advertising, ensuring campaigns are optimised for performance and ROI.

· Manage the optimisation, and development of our websites, ensuring they provide excellent user experiences and deliver measurable results.

· Working with relevant Fundraising teams, drive the strategic use of email marketing and automation to nurture relationships and deepen supporter engagement.

Data, Insight & Innovation

• Lead a data-driven approach to digital marketing, ensuring robust tracking, reporting, and analysis of all activity.
• Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for digital channels, using insight to inform continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement new digital tools, platforms, and approaches to improve marketing reach, engagement, and conversion.

Management & process

· Manage, develop, and inspire the Digital Marketing Officer and Legacy Marketing Officer, providing clear direction, feedback, and opportunities for growth.

· Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring spend is efficient, effective, and aligned to strategic priorities.

· Manage the digital content library, including video case studies and photography, ensuring assets are well-managed and accessible.

· Maintain oversight of all digital workflows and project scheduling, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

· Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency of message and visual identity across all digital touchpoints.

· Ensure compliance with data protection, accessibility, and fundraising regulations

· Undertake other duties consistent with the seniority and scope of this post.

Person specification

Knowledge & experience

· Significant experience leading digital marketing across multiple channels in different organisations

· Proven experience developing and implementing digital strategies that deliver measurable results.

· Strong experience managing websites, digital campaigns, and social media channels, including use of content management systems and marketing automation platforms.

· Demonstrable success in leading digital acquisition, retention, and engagement activity.

· Experience managing budgets, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

· Line management experience with a track record of developing team capability.

· Expertise in digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media advertising, and CRM systems.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Site, Safety and Security Manager is an important new role at Chelmsford Cathedral. The role holder will have overall responsibility for the maintenance and security of Chelmsford Cathedral, Churchyard and its wider estate.

CONTEXT

The Site, Safety and Security Manager has a significant role in the overall management of Chelmsford Cathedral’s site and estates.

The Key aspects of this are:-

• Managing the maintenance of the Cathedral and its wider site (Cathedral church, site buildings and Churchyard) including the fabric, building services, engineering systems, utilities, security and grounds and the supervision of planned maintenance works;
• Overseeing the management of the Cathedral’s wider property portfolio in liaison with the Estate Committee, Chief Officers and Head of Property and Operations.
• Effecting and managing a robust and proactive culture to meet statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety and other safety frameworks.
• Leading on site security particularly in relation to our public spaces, and liaising with local police and community protection services.
• Driving the Cathedral’s efforts to achieve the Church of England’s 2030 Carbon Net Zero targets, including reducing its emissions, improving energy efficiency, and promoting environmental stewardship, along with working to retain our Gold Eco Church Award
• Managing, monitoring and reporting, (as required), on the departmental budget and programme delivery.

A large 4 bedroom family home, (located on the Cathedral site), with front and back gardens and ample parking is included as part of the remuneration package. The house is deemed necessary for the performance of duties of this role so will not form a taxable benefit.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week (excluding lunch breaks). This role requires flexibility on the part of the post holder who will be required to be available, out of office hours, to perform the final evening sweep and securement of all buildings on site. The Cathedral is open seven days a week and the post holder will need to be able to work from time to time during evenings, weekends and bank holidays including at significant liturgical services such as at Christmas and Easter.

What does this role do?
As Senior New Partnerships Manager, you’ll:

• delve into untapped markets and pro-actively identify opportunities for us to grow our income from multi-year corporate partnerships,
• develop a plan for growth for partnerships in the £10k to £50k range including regional partnerships, forming a key element of the wider corporate strategy,

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small but growing community organisation, comprising nine paid staff and a network of 50 volunteers. As an A10 Project Worker, you will offer advice and support to our service users from EU A10 countries, including Polish speakers, on a range of presenting needs that have led to their homelessness, including but not limited to housing advice, EU Settled Status matters, benefit enquiries and health-related matters.

Working with people to identify support needs, providing opportunities for access to specialist physical and mental health support, access training, gain employment and create sustainable futures is at the centre of what we aim to deliver.

Faith in Action Merton Homelessness Project (FIA) has been serving the Merton community for over 20 years. We offer a twice-weekly Drop-In for the homeless and vulnerably housed in the London Borough of Merton. On Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year, we offer advice and support on a range of homelessness issues.

We provide a safe space where those in our community who are struggling to get by are welcomed, provided with breakfast, hot drinks, a two-course cooked lunch, the chance to take a shower and do their laundry, charge their phone, and access laptops to connect with family or look for work.

In 2022, FIA merged with the Merton Winter Night Shelter (WNS), which provides 14 emergency bed spaces to homeless adults for 16 weeks of the year. FIA's Trustees have overall responsibility for the WNS, with its day-to-day operation overseen by a dedicated WNS team.

We’re here for everyone who needs us. We protect children by working with people who pose a risk and diverting them from causing harm. We support individuals and families who have been affected by abuse. About the role and you

We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced manager to join the Helpline team. You will support the Head of Stop It Now, working alongside our Helpline Managers and Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Manager in the day to day running of the helpline and provide support and advice to Helpline Advisors. You will have direct client contact via telephone, a secure message service and online chat. You will also support with the training of staff and promotion of the work of the helpline.

This is a highly rewarding role within a friendly, supportive and hardworking team which is committed to keeping children safe from harm.

You will have experience in working directly with one or more of our key target groups: - for example adults and/or children and young people who have sexually harmful behaviours, or child victims of sexual abuse, or family members of these individuals.  Our ideal candidate will be an energetic professional, who is proactive and outcome focused with exceptional communication and relationship skills. You will be able to evidence a successful track record of working with individuals and families impacted by child sexual abuse. You will be able to demonstrate confidence in translating the charity’s mission into direct child protection practice and equipping other professionals in tackling child sexual abuse.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Team Leader for our Young Carers and Young Adult Carers team. You will play a key role in shaping and guiding the service, managing a dedicated team and overseeing day to day delivery while working with the Head of Services to deliver our strategy. Essential to the role is ensuring the service is inclusive, responsive and shaped by the voices of the young people we support. This is a hands-on, people-focused role, combining team management, safeguarding oversight, caseload guidance and partnership working.

• Oversee the daily flow of referrals, assessments and casework, ensuring timely allocation and consistent quality standards. Provide guidance to the team with their individual caseloads. 
• Coordinate and monitor the delivery of group sessions, clubs and school-based activities to ensure they are safe, engaging and age-appropriate.
• Ensure there is adequate staff and volunteer cover to enable the schedule of sessions and activities.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate information for families, schools and professionals, including content for the website and promotional materials.
• Support effective volunteer participation in groups, events and activities, working with the Volunteer Manager to ensure volunteers are appropriately trained, supervised and valued.

3. People and Team Development

• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and coaching to staff, ensuring they are supported, motivated and clear about priorities.
• Support the Head of Services with team meetings, supervision and annual appraisals.
• Ensure all team members are trained and equipped to the required standard, identifying learning needs and coordinating relevant development opportunities.

4. Safeguarding and Inclusion

• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), receiving, responding to and recording safeguarding concerns and escalating to the DSL (Head of Services) in a timely manner.
• Ensure robust safeguarding practices are embedded across all delivery settings, including schools and community venues.
• Champion equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring activities are accessible, inclusive and representative of Buckinghamshire’s diverse communities.

5. Partnerships and Representation

• Maintain day-to-day relationships with schools, youth organisations, community groups and VCSE partners to coordinate delivery and share information.
• Represent Carers Bucks at local forums, events and school-based meetings as agreed with the Head of Services.
• Promote awareness of young carers and young adult carers and the support available through Carers Bucks, sharing information and good practice with partner organisations.
• Provide feedback from schools, young and young adult carers and community partners to inform service improvement and planning.

6. Performance, Data and Reporting

• Record and monitor service data accurately, ensuring compliance with GDPR and organisational procedures.
• Track team performance against agreed objectives and highlight areas requiring support or improvement.
• Analyse data and feedback to identify trends and contribute to quarterly and annual reports.
• Provide case studies and operational insights to evidence impact and support funding and reporting requirements.

About you

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience of supervising or leading a team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and highly organised Support Worker to join our dedicated Young Carers Service team. Our team of support workers focus on supporting young carers throughout their caring journey, ensuring they feel understood, valued and empowered whilst also providing the opportunities and practical support the young people need to thrive and continue their caring role.

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for assessing the needs of young carers and ensuring they receive appropriate support through Carers Bucks services or other local agencies. The role includes engaging in one-to-one support, delivering targeted group sessions and facilitating clubs and activities. Support Workers will identify and engage young carers through partnerships with schools, health and social care and VCSE communities. 

Your role will be a mixture of working in the community, from home and in our Aylesbury office. Your principal geographic area will be South Bucks. 

Key Responsibilities These include but are not limited to:
1.     Operational Coordination and Planning
·       Receive referrals and undertake YC assessments in your geographical area. Allocate young people to the appropriate level of support they require to fulfil their caring role.
·       Provide planned and time limited one to one support for carers with clear outcomes, using tools such as ‘my life now’ to measure impact of support.
 

2. Service Delivery and Quality
·       Deliver group programmes in response to the needs in your local geographical area, whilst working to available resources.
·       Work with staff and volunteers to deliver regular clubs and activities which provide young carers with the opportunity to have time away from their caring role. 
 

 3. People and Team Development
·       Build a strong relationship with young carers and families in your geographical area and work with the Young Adult Carer Support worker to transition them through services.
·       Work effectively as part of a high performing team to ensure that needs of carers are met. 
 

4. Safeguarding and Inclusion
·       Have a strong understanding of how to receive, respond to and record safeguarding concerns and escalate to a line manager in a timely manner.
·       Demonstrate a strong commitment to implementing and upholding Carers Bucks’ safeguarding policy in everyday practice.

5.     Partnerships and Representation
·       Provide support to schools in a geographical area to run young carers groups, targeted support sessions or drop in’s. 
·       Collaborate with the Adult Carers team and partner organisations to further support carers and make referrals to appropriate services accordingly.
 

6. Performance, Data and Reporting
·       Maintain accurate and up to date records on all aspects of work carried out for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
·       Produce case study summaries to evidence the impact and outcomes of work, in line with requests from the line manager.

This is one of two District Property Secretary roles in North West England Methodist District, who will be the first point of contact on all matters relating to property. Using their knowledge of land and buildings, and their use and maintenance, in addition to knowledge of governance in the Methodist church context, the postholders will ensure a coherent and holistic approach to property across the District. 

Key Responsibilities 

Provide advice to churches and circuits on property-related matters

Work with colleagues, including ministers and lay members of the circuits and churches within the District, to maximise utilisation of property and land across the District for mission and income generation, in line with Connexional property strategy

- Support with selling properties

- Collaborate with colleagues on seeking alternative opportunities for mission or income generation

- Provide guidance on potential grant opportunities

Provide support with the instruction of professional advisors and contractors and liaise with surveyors as necessary

Provide advice and support to ensure projects are delivered effectively and in compliance with relevant standards and legislation

Support the management of the consents process

- Advise the consent giving body of the District regarding property projects and the feasibility of District grants

- Provide support on the use of the online consents system

- Oversee the submission of annual returns

Provide oversight of quinquennial inspections

- Ensure inspections are undertaken in a timely manner

- Collate copies of returns

To assist in the development and continual review of the District Development Plan for property
