Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising Strategy Delivery: Take ownership of multi-year fundraising strategy working closely with the CEO and Board to diversify and increase revenue streams that support PBC’s service expansion and reach

• Relationship Management: Research, identify and cultivate funding opportunities from companies and high-net-worth individuals, alongside trusts and foundations

• Trusts & Foundations: Oversee the grant pipeline, with external support for high-value applications and build relationships with decision-makers

• Develop Compelling Fundraising Material: Collaborate with CEO and wider team to evidence, quantify and articulate PBC’s social value using data and storytelling to position PBC as a high-impact partner for donors and partners

• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and evaluate fundraising performance against financial and operational targets. Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations, sector and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising best practices

• Proactive Self Starter: Though collaborative, you are motivated to build and maintain momentum, identify and create opportunities and take full ownership of projects from initial idea to delivery

• Commercial Development: Support development, sales and delivery of commercial income strategy, specifically helping to grow the paid membership scheme and securing sponsorship for commercial programmes and offers

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Policy and Public Affairs Officer to help grow our influence in the policy and public affairs space, and ultimately improve outcomes for younger people with breast cancer. 

The Policy and Public Affairs Officer will sit within the CoppaFeel! Policy and Influencing team within the Education department and will work closely with the Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager. They will support the implementation of our policy and influencing strategy that aims to build our policy expertise, influence the debate, grow our networks and drive system change. 

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week (though we are open to flexible arrangements). You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes. 

This is a fixed term contract for 18 months.

Duties and Responsibilities

Advance our policy expertise

• Research policy areas to support CoppaFeel!’s evidence-based policy work
• Monitor key policy developments in breast cancer and younger people
• Stay on top of new external research and data releases

Influence the debate

• Draft policy briefings on key policy issues for younger people with breast cancer
• Contribute to policy debates, e.g. by drafting consultation responses, briefings and statements
• Support the smooth running of policy events, including event organisation, stakeholder mapping and engagement

Reach the right people

• Engage a variety of stakeholders with CoppaFeel!’s work - from policymakers to journalists and other charities
• Support the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, and maintain CoppaFeel!’s stakeholder database

Drive impact

• Support the implementation of CoppaFeel!’s policy and influencing strategy
• Support and coordinate policy and influencing campaigns
• Measure and report impact of policy and influencing work 

Work across the organisation

• Work with colleagues across CoppaFeel! to ensure policy messages are aligned and embedded across the charity’s work and audiences
• Undertake any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by the Charity, in line with the needs of the organisation.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• A good understanding of the UK political system and processes
• Experience working on an aspect of social policy

About the Role

As the main point of contact for UDG, the Membership and Administration Officer plays a pivotal role in the organisation’s day-to-day operations, ensuring an outstanding experience for members. As part of a small, dedicated team, the role focuses on managing membership operations, maintaining accurate records, facilitating effective communication, and supporting initiatives to grow and engage the membership. The post-holder may also assist with event coordination, general administration, and basic finance tasks, helping to keep UDG running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Membership Services

• Serve as the main point of contact for all enquiries from members and the public, managing the membership administration inbox and providing prompt, professional, and helpful responses, triaging to colleagues where necessary.

• Administer all membership processes, including applications, renewals, terminations, and database updates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain UDG’s membership and finance records in QuickBooks and track renewal payments across all methods, liaising with the external finance team as needed.

• Coordinate specific membership categories, including:

  • Recognised Practitioner – receiving and checking applications, liaising with the Assessment Panel, and informing candidates of outcome.

  • Corporate Memberships – processing applications and setting up webpages.

  • University Memberships – coordinating with course leaders on journal distribution.

  • Subscription Bureau Memberships – managing arrangements with external providers.

• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications Manager to promote membership benefits and encourage member involvement with UDG activities and initiatives.

• Build and maintain targeted contact lists by identifying relevant groups, practices, and influential individuals for UDG outreach and engagement.

• Prepare and provide updated membership mailing data for distribution of UDG’s quarterly journal, Urban Design.

Administration

Provide general administrative support for the UDG team as required including:

• Support for UDG Committees (Executive Committee, Board of Trustees, Editorial Board, Working Groups, and Awards Panel), such as:

  • Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and circulating papers.

  • Producing concise, action-oriented minutes.

• Promptly process recruitment advertisement requests, including website postings and invoicing.

• Carry out routine updates to the UDG website, including the Urban Design Directory.

• Coordinate the scheduling for of activities, meetings and events.

• Support the Book Review Editor by coordinating the book review process, liaising with publishers and ensuring reviewers receive copies in a timely manner.

Events

• Assist in the planning and delivery of online, hybrid, and in-person events in collaboration with the UDG Directors and the Fundraising and Communications Manager, including managing registrations, preparing materials, booking venues, and arranging catering.

• Foster a collaborative working environment by maintaining regular communication with colleagues, Executive Committee members and others involved with the Group.

• Actively participate in UDG meetings and events, contributing ideas to support our organisational objectives.

• Take a hands-on, flexible approach within a small team.

Person Specification

• Essential Experience

  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

  • Experience managing memberships, databases or similar systems.

  • Experience facilitating and supporting committees and/or working groups.

• Essential Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong all-round administrative skills including recording keeping, servicing committees, note-taking, drafting documents, diary management etc.

  • Confident maintaining and interpreting membership data.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Mac applications, as well as digital tools such as Zoom, SurveyMonkey, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite.

  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles (a working knowledge of Quickbooks or other online book-keeping systems would be highly advantageous).

• Flexible Working: This is a flexible, hybrid role that is mostly home-based and requires only one day per fortnight in the office (to be agreed). This is a fun and rewarding role that will manage our email schedule, drive forward our email journeys and support our fundraising appeals and digital campaigns.

You’ll plan and produce engaging emails that inspire new and existing supporters to take action, such as making a financial gift, signing a petition or reading a blog on our website. About The Job

The British Society of Echocardiography represents clinical echocardiography professionals and our aim is to provide our members with the necessary education and professional support to deliver the highest standard of care in echocardiography. We achieve this by providing accreditation and education and working with the echo community to meet their needs.

The Society is a registered charity and is administered by a Board of Trustees supported by the Advisory Council. Membership is open to everyone associated with echocardiography including cardiac physiologists, clinical scientists, cardiologists, anaesthetists, intensivists, and others and currently stands at over 5700 members.

The Accreditation Officer will act as one of the main contacts for all BSE Accreditation-related matters and will collaborate with the BSE Accreditation Manager, Accreditation team, as well as the Chairs, assessors, and office staff to ensure consistency and high standards of work. 

The post holder will be responsible for the effective joint facilitation of BSE personal and departmental accreditation, including organising and delivering written examinations and practical assessments. The role involves providing support for all applications related to both accreditation streams, ensuring they are handled in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner at every stage of the accreditation process. 

Delivering to a high standard, the successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills and be skilled at multitasking. The ability to prioritise their workload effectively and respond to challenging situations professionally and swiftly is essential. The role involves collaborative work on intricate projects.

FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity, tackling inequality, transforming lives and ensuring no good food goes to waste. We rescue surplus food and redistribute it to over 650 charities and community organisations, helping to feed around 60,000 people every week.

Alongside food redistribution, we invest in people and communities through volunteering, education and employability programmes. With the opening of the Sir Peter Rigby Coronation Food Hub in Birmingham, we are entering a significant period of growth, innovation and increased impact across the Midlands.

The Role

This is a hands-on Digital Marketing Officer role created to support the overall marketing and communications, with specific responsibilities in respect of employability programmes and overall Hub-based activity.

Working closely with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager and the wider MarComms team, the postholder will deliver engaging, practical marketing and communications activity that supports:

• General marketing and communications
• Employability SkillsShare programmes
• Project-based initiatives such as local pantries
• Internal communications and staff/volunteer engagement
• New opportunities such as meeting room hire, community kitchen hire and events

This role is ideal for someone with strong video, content and digital skills, who enjoys variety, collaboration and seeing their work directly enable delivery teams and participants.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Content & Video

• Lead on the creation and editing of video content for:

         o Social media and digital channels

         o Impact stories and case studies

         o Employability programmes and participant journeys

         o Internal communications and staff engagement

• Capture and edit short-form and long-form content aligned to brand guidelines
• Support filming opportunities across the Hub and wider organisation

Employability & Hub Marketing

• Work closely with the Employability team to support recruitment, engagement and promotion of SkillsShare programmes
• Create accessible, engaging content for participants, employers and funders
• Support marketing and communications for Hub-based initiatives, projects and pilots (eg catering, hospitality, pantries)
• Ensure employability activity is consistently represented across digital channels

Campaign & Project Support

• Support marketing and communications activity for:

          o Meeting room hire and community kitchen hire

          o Events and Hub-based activity

          o New routes to market and community projects

•  Collaborate with other MarComms officers to deliver integrated campaigns where needed
• Adapt content for different audiences and channels

Email Marketing & Internal Comms

• Support email marketing activity in collaboration with the Senior Manager and Digital Marketing Officer
• Contribute content for internal communications, working alongside the Senior Digital Marketing Officer
• Help ensure staff and volunteers feel informed, engaged and connected during a period of change and growth

Brand, Reporting & Collaboration

• Act as a brand champion, ensuring consistency and quality across outputs
• Contribute to basic reporting and insight gathering to support evaluation and improvement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Employability, Volunteering and Fundraising teams
• Support ad hoc marketing and communications activity as required

About the role 

At the Motability Foundation, we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. 

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that works flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. Our growing portfolio includes flagship projects tackling challenges such as inclusive EV charging infrastructure, complex community transport needs, and large-scale research like the National Centre for Accessible Transport. 

We are now recruiting a Transport Solutions Manager to lead the design and delivery of high-impact work focused primarily on accessibility considerations around emerging Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technology, alongside other initiatives related to our Private Transport Theme. This is a pivotal role that combines technical understanding, programme delivery, and stakeholder leadership, and is designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure. 

While your core focus will be on accessibility of emerging Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technology, you also may be expected to lead and/or contribute to other transport projects across the transport themes. 

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose-led team driving change in the transport system for disabled people, and to work on some of the most complex and impactful projects in the sector. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Lead the Foundation’s work to understand the impact of AVs on transport equity for disabled people, working closely with Programme Directors and partners across government, industry and the charity sector. 

• Scope, commission and manage projects related to AVs – such as pilots, commercial partnerships, research studies or funding opportunities – ensuring alignment to strategic priorities. 

• Bring technical, regulatory, and market understanding of AVs to shape the Foundation’s approach in this space. 

• Manage end-to-end delivery of specific initiatives, including planning, budgeting, due diligence, contracting, risk management, and governance reporting. 

• Use insight, evidence and stakeholder engagement to shape new programmes of work and ensure delivery reflects the needs of disabled people. 

• Work flexibly across our matrix team, contributing to projects or funding rounds outside your own portfolio as needed, and supporting colleagues with specialist input or delivery resource.

• Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders. 

• Collaborate across the Foundation, including with the Insight & Evaluation, Finance and Communications teams, to ensure high-quality delivery, learning and visibility of our work.

PMRGCAuk is a small national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and giant cell arteritis (GCA). We have a big impact, supporting patients with our small staff team and with the help of a proactive team of volunteers and working closely with leading rheumatologists and researchers to improve diagnosis and treatment of these conditions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Fundraising Officer.

Key focus of the role

This is a newly created role designed to develop and support our fundraising activities, particularly in the areas of legacy fundraising and grants and trusts, as well as increasing our membership, working alongside our small team. We are a small charity with big ambitions and this role is designed to help us grow and become sustainable in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Legacies:

· To develop a comprehensive legacy fundraising strategy and workflow, in collaboration with the Director and the Fundraising Committee.

· To work with colleagues to raise the profile of legacy fundraising, including production of materials, social media content, website development, etc.

· Work across the charity to ensure legacies are integrated across relevant channels to reach key audiences

· Build a portfolio of case studies in conjunction with the Deputy Director to showcase how legacy giving has impacted the community

Trust and Grants

· Identify and research a pipeline of potential Trust and Grant funders to secure financial support for the charity

· Work with the Director, trustees and other colleagues to develop fundraising applications for new and existing projects

· Develop compelling funding applications with service-user insight to Trust and Grant funders

· Manage and track existing funding received and complete appropriate reporting protocols to the relevant funders

· Produce timely and engaging project reports to inspire future funders and clearly measure impact of any funding received.

Membership

· To develop a strategy to increase membership, including professional membership

· To increase membership, including professional membership in conjunction with the wider PMRGCA team of staff and volunteers

General

· To lead on the development and establishment of a ‘shop’ on our website to generate additional funds.

· Support with other fundraising initiatives within the organisation, for example, Marathon in a Month, Big Give.

· Achieve agreed income targets, with a focus on securing funding from Trusts and Grants, as well as an increase in legacy donations and increased membership

Who We're Looking For:

BVSC is looking for a Grassroots Development Officer to work with small, often informal voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across Bexley. This role offers hands-on support to grassroots groups delivering vital services designed and led by the communities they serve, particularly those facing health and social inequalities.

The post-holder will provide practical guidance on governance, funding, safeguarding, sustainability, and other organisational development needs. You will help groups strengthen networks, increase visibility, and overcome barriers to growth, supporting them to deliver even greater impact.

This role focuses on organisations working with young people, older residents, minority ethnic (global majority) and migrant communities, people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and communities in the north of the borough where grassroots activity is most needed.

Key areas of work include:

• Identifying: Engaging with grassroots groups to understand their services, users, and development needs.
• Connecting: Building relationships and establishing a network of micro VCSEs to encourage peer support and knowledge sharing.
•  Developing: Offering tailored capacity-building support, including advice on governance, funding, communications, coordination, and premises, and coordinating grant rounds.
•  Promoting: Supporting recognition of grassroots groups by health partners and the wider community, boosting their visibility and impact.
