Age UK Westminster is seeking a Digital Inclusion Coordinator to join our home visiting digital inclusion team funded by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Social Isolation project supports and enhances existing Older Adult Mental Health services provided by CNWL by providing targeted outreach digital inclusion support to vulnerable older people with the aim of reducing the impact of loneliness and isolation. We are looking for someone who has confident Digital Inclusion experience and ideally some experience of working with people living with dementia.
The role will include providing intensive coaching, support and troubleshooting with IT skills and equipment as well as working closely with Age UK Westminster’s other services including digital inclusion group sessions and dementia activities.
The role will demand a division of time in the office and in client’s home in Westminster.

Core Arts Mental Health Creative Charity are looking for a Personal Health Budgets Advisor to join our expanding team.
This role will support the delivery of the personal health budget (PHB) brokerage service in East London, run by Core Arts. As part of the PHB team the successful candidate would support to provide a high quality, person- focused, efficient PHB brokerage service. The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring personalised support plans are processed by the brokerage service and the financial management is clearly explained and accessible to PHB holders and referrers. You will respond to PHB queries and manage a case load of PHB referrals, ensuring that they are processed efficiently. Your day-to-day work will be primarily desk based, liaising with mainly clinicians and sometimes budget holders to support the PHB process. You will support training and awareness delivery to teams and work with the team in developing increasing involvement with PHB holders.
The NHS long-term plan intends for personalised care to be ‘business as usual’ therefore opportunities for PHBs are increasing, this service works closely with mental health teams (ELFT) and the PHB lead.
Personal health budgets (PHBs) are a way of personalising care, based around what matters to people and their individual strengths and needs, and their recovery plans. It is an amount of money for a person to purchase an item, activity or package of care agreed between them and their health team. They give people more choice, control and flexibility over their support, allowing them to develop a package of care tailored to what will help them to be well and stay well. Personal health budgets allow for creativity and personalisation. The PHB team support processing requests so people can access the items or activities to support recovery goals.
Key responsibilities
- Process PHB referrals efficiently, ensuring requests are person-centred and recovery focussed outlining personalised recovery goals/ plans
- Offer support and guidance to clinicians on personalised support and how to make referrals to the PHB service- communication would be over the phone, email and online and in-person meetings.
- Deliver training in partnership with ELFT to clinicians about PHBs and how to make a referral and hold awareness sessions to raise the profile of PHBs.
- Ensure that the referral process is streamlined and each stage of a PHB is communicated to ensure responsive budgets to referrals.
- Monitor the online platform Patients Know Best (PKB) for any queries from budget holders about their PHB.
- Keep accurate and up to date records of PHBs on the case management system to support the PHB process and with evaluation.
- Work with finance team to ensure PHBs funds are released quickly and accurately, and risks are identified and managed appropriately.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of a 3-year train the trainer pilot programme in the chosen pilot locations in England or Scotland.
The pilot will train and equip local health care professionals, health promotion workers and local community workers with the knowledge and resources to promote breast awareness, breast screening and risk reduction messages in their own communities.
Supported by a public health development officer, train the trainer (1 based in England and 1 based in Scotland), who you’ll also line manage, you’ll lead on the development and delivery of the in-person programme, including marketing materials, resource packs and ongoing support for trainees. You’ll also identify opportunities, agree timescales and associated logistics for training delivery within the pilot areas.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is experienced in leading on the development and delivery of insightful and engaging workshops or public health focused projects, to a range of audiences from health or community-based organisations. The right candidate will have a good understanding of health inequalities, the challenges they present to health behaviours and outcomes, and be passionate about addressing these challenges. You’ll have strong communication and engagement skills and enjoy working independently and innovatively to develop successful partnerships with a range of organisations, communities and stakeholders.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
These roles involve significant travel across England (Westminster and Leicester) or Scotland (Glasgow and Lanarkshire).
Therefore, these posts can either be home based or office based at our London, or Glasgow offices (if within reasonable commuting distance).

Anna Freud is in an exciting stage of delivery of its 5-year strategy, this includes bringing together different parts of the organisation in a collaborative effort to create and implement a Digital Academy.
The Head of Digital Learning (internally known as EdTech Lead) will be a new and pivotal role that will support with the successful implementation of the Digital Academy. This role will sit within the Education and Training Division of Anna Freud but they will entail working closely with senior colleagues from across Anna Freud including the Education and Training Division Leadership team, Closing the Gap Acceleration (CtGA) team and the different Heads of departments. Externally they will liaise with external tech organisations to support procurement of new platforms and they will conduct market research to assess the market, target audience and consumer demand for the various services that might be offered through the Digital Academy.
The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, growing and successful team. They will need to be an experienced professional within the field of educational technology, with a good grasp of learning design and virtual learning platforms, as well as experience of commissioning/procuring digital platforms and a demonstrable ability to undertake market research within both home and international markets. An understanding of working in the charity sector and/or within an education and training environment would be helpful. Experience of undertaking projects centered around children, young people and families, mental health or other health-related/science subjects would be welcomed.
Location
Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).
